Guest Reviews
- Toby (10/5): - Lovely pub and accommodation and staff.
- alexandra (10/5): -
- Andrea (8/5): Clean and comfortable - Clean, comfortable room in pleasant surroundings. Pub looked very nice although we didn’t eat/drink there. Good parking and pleasant staff. Have to presume this wouldn’t be a regular occurrence but we were woken at 7:30 on a Sunday morning by men putting up scaffolding! Toaster in the room was too small and didn’t seem to pop the toast up automatically so that the toast burnt setting off the fire alarm.
- Huw (10/5): Fantastic. - Great pub, great food and super helpful hosts. Close to Snetterton race circuit.
- Laraine (10/5): A charming stay in a beautiful thatched pub - The Kings Head is a real gem, set in a beautiful thatched property full of charm and character. The rooms are lovely with lots of thoughtful little touches from the owners. The beds are huge and really comfortable. There is a warm friendly atmosphere throughout and the hospitality makes you feel instantly welcome. We had a great stay and would not hesitate to return - highly recommended.

- Sue (9/5): - Very friendly landlord, with a wonderful pub. Lovely large room with separate entrance situated in the garden area with seating outside. We had bikes with us and there was plenty of space to store them. Nice comfy bed, large Tv and hot shower. Fridge in the room with fresh milk for tea and coffee, also cereals provided for breakfast and toaster with bread and jams. Pub doesn't do food on Sunday evening but we took are own sandwiches into the bar and had them with a drink. They have lots going on, on different nights, fish and chip van Fridays. Small blind needed to cover window in door.
- Rob (10/5): -

- Sandra (9/5): Ticks all the boxes for a night away in a lovely country pub environment. - Very nice traditional country pub, the food was very good and the owners and staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Partner not so keen on the continental breakfast, but having said that we enjoyed the cereals, fruit and crumpets which were available.

- John (10/5): Little gem in Norfolk - A wonderful and warm English country pub with a welcoming, clean and well appointed accommodation.
- Kim (10/5): A wonderful British style pub with the convince of having rooms to stay. - The owners are fantastic! They really went out of their way to ensure all our expectations were met. A very limited food menu, but what they served was excellent!

- Murray (10/5): - Fabulous place and fabulous people. Louise and Martin could not have been more welcoming and helpful. Room was beautifully presented and spotlessly clean. An absolute delight. Excellent value and the pub beer is really rather good too!
- Sean (10/5): Perfect and really good fun - What a great place , super friendly made me very welcome , I had been driving for two days and need a safe place to stay . My van had expensive stock in it . Super clean bed was awesome and very safe quiet place
- Ross (10/5): - The hosts were excellent and went above and beyond to make the stay stress free. The added touch of a simple 'do it yourself ' breakfast was a nice touch. Nothing!
- Dirk (10/5): Home from home! - Great pub, lovely atmosphere and friendly staff. I even got to know some of the local folks. Very welcoming and if I lived in the area, this would be my local 😃.
Thanks to Martin, Louise, Whisky and Coco ❤️ Nothing to report!
- Sarah (10/5): We was attending a family function near by.. we booked 3 rooms. 2 twin and 1 family room. On arrival staff were very fri - Beautiful set up, clean, comfy and cosy. N/A
- Joanna (8/5): -
- neil (9/5): excellent stay, made to feel very welcome. - breafast was items left in the room cooked breakfast would be better
- John (10/5): - Picture postcard property, with exceptionally warm and friendly staff.
Very well looked after.
When in the area again, we would definitely stay here again.
- Zoe (10/5): Such lovely owners made us feel really welcome and the room is tip top definitely coming back - So friendly and very clean I can’t fault anything

- Suzi (10/5): Lovely rooms and great hosts. Highly recommend staying here! - Would highly recommend staying at the Kings Head. We have just returned from a two night stay here. Our room was lovely, beautifully decorated and the bed was so comfy. It was also spotlessly clean. Lots of extra thoughtful touches in the room like biscuits, crumpets and hot chocolate. The owners Louise and Martin were amazing welcoming hosts and nothing was too much trouble. They even rang about 8 different taxi companies to make sure we made it to the wedding we were attending whilst there. The pub and gardens are also beautiful. It was a really lovely weekend away, which surpassed all expectations. If you are thinking of booking here, you will not be disappointed! Nothing, it was perfect.

The Room and Amenities -
The modern room, surprisingly spacious and immaculately clean, is tucked away behind the King's Head. The bathroom is equally large, featuring a great shower and all necessary toiletries. However, the true highlight of our stay was the bed, which provided one of the best nights of sleep we've ever had.
Thoughtful Touches -
The breakfast items were a lovely and much-appreciated detail, showing the hosts' thoughtful effort.
10/10 for us! N/A

- aaron (10/5): -
- Mark (10/5): Warm welcome, friendly staff good food. - Large room, comfy bed. So much so I overslept 😁
- Stella (8/5): A lovely welcoming village pub - All good, especially liked the toaster and crumpets and cereal for diy breakfast
- Wing (6/5): - Very clean room. Immaculate. Perfect decor. Good location.
Friendly hosts. Internet was poor or non-existent in the room. My husband bought work things with him but was unable to do anything as the Internet was not working.
Breakfast was just continental left in the drawer of the dressing table with milk brought to the room the night before in a slightly smelly thermos. Not convinced this is a good idea. Bread for toast just a couple of slices of bog-standard supermarket loaf wrapped in clingfilm. Just 4 slices for 2 adults and a hungry 8 year old.
Also one of their dogs took to growling at my 8 year old even though he did nothing to him. Then the dog was also growling at my husband. Nothing was done to keep the dog from roaming freely. Don't know if the dog could turn vicious or not so it was a bit worrying. My 8 year old was scared!
- Louise (9/5): Nice pub stay - Lovely room in a nice village location. Friendly staff The mini-fridge in the room was very noisy which was a bit disruptive for sleeping.
- BRIDGET (10/5): -

- Tom (10/5): Highly recommend - Warm welcome, clean and well prepared rooms, excellent bed linen! n/a
- Diana (8/5): Friendly country pub ideal for travel throughout East Anglia - The Kings Head is a newly refurbished Grade II listed traditional pub at the heart of its community in the village of North Lopham, which is ideally placed for travel throughout Suffolk and Norfolk. It is easy to find and easy to park. The ground floor room was spacious, accessible, clean, with comfy beds and well decorated. Toiletries provided in the en suite shower room were unusually generous. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The restaurant offering is a bit unclear on the pub's own website. They specialise in lunchtime food, and only provide an evening meal to guests who are staying overnight, offering items from their lunchtime menu and the specials board. If you check direct, there might be a specialist food truck visiting the car park at the time of your stay. They don't offer a cooked breakfast, so you would have to buy that elsewhere.
