Guest Reviews
- Tracy (9/5): Wonderful clean, comfortable spot in romantic location - excellent value! - Very clean, very pretty, lovely little terrace with view, excellent location near everything.
- L70 (7/5): - Gute Lage in der Altstadt. Schöne kleine Dachterrasse. Es war noch recht kalt nichts, warme Decken wären schön gewesen.
- Suzy (10/5): - Location .. clean... Very good value More cooking facilities but not a worry as local.food was amazing
- David (10/5): Naria Medieval House really delivers! - We were met at one of the gates of the Old Town and driven to the door. All the room details were clearly explained. The apartment is fabulous. Roomy, very comfortable, lovely verandah to sit on, great location. Step out of the front door and just an easy walk to all that the Rhodes Old Town has to enthral you with. Easy walk to bus station to be able to go to Lindos, Anthony Quinn Beach and anywhere else efficiently and cheaply. We had great day trips. We had a bit of an issue with the cook top- not the host's fault, but ours! and the communication to address this was excellent. Everything you could possibly want is in the apartment. Nothing. Great value and gave us a perfect stay in beautiful Rhodes.

- Carol (10/5): Clean, comfortable - great location! - Naria Medieval House is a few steps from a plaza with a huge spreading tree, where tables are set up for the cafe and the adjacent restaurant. A little further on are several more very good restaurants. It is a short walk from the grocery store and the laundry. It is a prime location for exploring the medieval city, and seeing all the sites.
- Freek (7/5): -
- Merve Nur (8/5): - Konumu ve olanakları çok güzeldi. İnanılmaz rutubetli kötü bir koku var odada.
- אלון (10/5): -
- Louise (10/5): Fabulous Accommodation - Naria is in an amazing location, very comfortable and clean with everything we needed. Lovely sunny terrace too. It is a little small for 4 people, we stayed as a family, two adults and two teenagers and it was a bit of a squeeze. That said, given the location and condition of the property, we would stay again
- Vural Ongun (10/5): -
- Ercan (6/5): - kale içinde olması ve fiyatı Arabayla kale içine giremediğimiz için arabayı girişe park edip eve yürümek zordu.
- Linda (10/5): Tutto perfetto. Posizione, accoglienza, cortesia. -
- Caitlin (10/5): The perfect location if your holiday is central to Old Town. - The PERFECT location. The patio was perfect, facilities exactly what you need, and everything so central.
- Linda (9/5): Superb - Excellent location. Loved the patio. Very comfortable bed. The host was great. He met us and drove us to the accommodation. Nothing
- Andrew (8/5): Very good - The location is ideal.
The room was very clean and secure.
Perfect for two.
- Patrick (7/5): Nice location with sunny terrace, noisy Airco from neighbors - The House has two appartements for rent, we got the one on top. It is small but offers room enough for 2. It is quite dark as there is only one small window. You get exclusive access to the adjacent veranda, where you can sit in the sun from 9 to 18. We came mid april, many restaurants and bars where still closed. So there was no noise from the place 20m away, where at least 5 etablissements prepared their opening. The appartement is perfectly located in the old town. On arrival we found 6 bottles of water, 2 bottles of wine and more. Very nice!
Unfortunately the airco from the adjacent hotel is VERY NOISY. The walls are slightly trembling and you feel like surrounded by tumbling washing machines. All night long. Every took a cruise ship? Like that! Very annoying. We contacted the owner twice, no reaction.
- Aiša (5/5): Very disappointing experience - 1. Good location. Close to car sales lots, cafes, and restaurants.
2. The kitchen has everything needed to make breakfast.
3. The apartment is fairly clean. 1. Terrible humidity. We were leavingt beach towels to dry in the car because they couldn't dry in the room for three days. Bath towels were changed every three days, so imagine how pleasant it was to dry off with always damp towels.
2. A moldy smell coming from the bed or somewhere near it. We stuffed a blanket between the wall and the bed to reduce the smell.
3. Two mornings we saw cockroache in the bathroom.
4. Poor sound insulation.
5. Very bad internet.
6. There are trash bins about 15 meters from the entrance. For example, glass waste is collected at 4:30 AM, and it’s loud. It’s better not to sleep with the window open, but inside it’s damp and hard to breathe. Also dirty around after collecting waste.
7. The air conditioning unit is very noisy.
8. The photos on booking.com are enhanced; the apartment is very dark in reality.
- Susie (8/5): excellent location and cute room - location was perfect, room was clean and the host was very good. This room only good for max 2 people, not 3. Way too small the aircon was too big for small room so you either froze or was too hot. Bathroom was tiny and we had a few issues with shower head broken and front door not closing properly which they came to fix next day.
Room is suitable for a couple but they advertise for 3 people and WAY too small for 3 people was a bit stressful tbh.
- Dejan (10/5): The host was very accommodatin and waited for my arrival, even though it was very late at night. The - The host was very accommodating and waited for my arrival, even though it was very late at night. The room was presented very well and perfectly clean
- Ayla (7/5): Comment - Clean, small but enough place, good location, Unavailable internett connection is the only negative thing for this house....
- Kyriacos (10/5): Exceptional -
- Georgina (8/5): Great apartment in centre of Rhodes Old Town. - The property was very central in the old town within walking distance of bars and restaurants and had a lovely terrace , the air con was good. WiFi was good. Lovely gift of wine and ouzo which was a nice touch. Good contact from the property before and on arrival. It was quite small for 4 of us once the sofa bed was made up. But we were not there much so was fine. Would’ve been nice to have a broom / dustpan & brush to sweep up the sand and stones we bought in each day from the beach!
- Jessamin (9/5): Superb -
- Krasimira (10/5): Exceptional - Great location in the old town, great layout of the apartment Nothing particular
- Owen (9/5): 10/10 location! - Very lovely apartment, such a good location! Hosts were very lovely in letting us use another one of their locations in the town to store our luggage for the day. Would highly recommend!
- Diane (9/5): Superb - The location was excellent, right in the old town with plenty of little lanes to explore. I can imagine it may get noisier in high season with a nearby bar opening. The check in was excellent, I got lost finding the meeting point so maybe arrange to meet at the gate would be better. The appartment was exactly as described and immaculate. The one tiny flaw was not being met at the gate where the taxi dropped me off. Not everyone has Google maps or data roaming! Steps to access the appartment are steep, narrow and winding. Very happy to have help with my bag and can imagine a large suitcase may struggle.
- Adonis (8/5): Very good -
- Nuala (7/5): Enjoyable - Was clean a welcome pack was provided which was a nice surprise Very helpful and available when needed Smaller than expected quite cramped thought there was outside space to sit which would have made a difference
- Zambica (9/5): A great apartment in Rhodes Old Town - A really lovely apartment with enough room for our family of 4. The double bed was very comfortable and the fold out couch was good for the kids. It was in a quiet corner of Rhodes Old Town, but there was a bit of noise from scooters coming past on the road.
- Oakley (9/5): Beatiful little apartment - Great little ground floor apartment located in old town Rhodes just seconds walk from restaurants and bars.
Good communication with owner via WhatsApp so was met with the keys upon arrival.
Apartment is decorated very modernly and has everything you need for a short stay.
Complimentary bottle of wine and small bottle of ouzo in thev room which was a nice touch.
Really enjoyed our short stay here. The building has charm and character so you get the true feel of staying in the old town..
Good amount of plug sockets in the apartment.
Check out was easy as you just leave the keys on the table and close the door behind you. This apartment is in the middle of old town where there is no vehicular access so be prepared to wheel your suitcases along the cobbled streets to get to it. Well worth it though.
The shower is a bit small but you are literally staying in an old house so its part of the charm of the apartment.. If you want luxury book an hotel outside the city walls..
If you want to experience the charm of staying in old town then this is for you.
Prob the only thing missing from the apartment was a toaster but there was a sandwich maker so we managed to use that to make toast.
The aircon was a bit noisy at night and the wifi wasn't the fastest but those are the only small things i could fault this apartment on.
Would definitely stay here again if we ever go back to Rhodes.
- Nermin (8/5): Very good - the location was perfect we informed several times and checked in with the time that we will come to the property, when we arrived we have to wait at least for 15 minutes in the street for the person to come. the wine that they gave as complimentary was so bad we could not drink it, in a place with such good wines for 5 euros, I think it is a pity to give wine with such bad quality
- Cabiddu (7/5): Good - Great location, quiet, bathroom was ok. A bit small, no scissors, no space in bathroom for toiletries.
- Oyku (8/5): Very good -
- Gunilla (9/5): Superb - Nice apartment in the centre of the old town. Great setup for two people but it worked well for us three for the nights we stayed. The terrace in the upstairs apartment is the real bonus and great for breakfast. The apartment has a coffee machine which is great but you may have to stock up for more capsules. The apartment is clean and tidy and it is stocked with a bottle of cold water in the fridge (and a welcoming bottle of white wine!). Steep stairs if you have a lot of luggage.
- Peter (9/5): Excellent and would stay again - Very clean and tidy and we were picked up late at night after our flight was delayed outside the pedestrian area by golf buggy and transported to our accommodation
- Phaedd (10/5): Exceptional - great location. Even it is in oldtown, it is a bit away from noisy area.. it has quite, peacefull location. only a few meters away from pubs, restaurants. very friendly host.. he gave us some traditional greek gift. the room also has a very lovely terrace.
- Christopher (10/5): Exceptional -
- Gayle (7/5): Ideal location, but basic accommodation. - the location is in the quiet part of the old town. near a couple of bars which open late, but we were not troubled at all by any music from there. very respectful of residents I think. compact and bijou. not an apartment, more a studio.
the bed for me, was extremely uncomfortable. do the first night I slept on the sofa bed, which was equally too firm, for me.
- Konstantinos (9/5): Superb -
- Vaida (9/5): Perfect studio - Very quiet location, comfortable double beds and good pillows, host helped me a lot with luggage and kids transportation. Sorry again for broken lamp.
- Michael (10/5): Exceptional - perfect for a couple, lovely location and would definitely go back. had the terrace unit upstairs, very narrow stairs up might be an issue if you had big bags, but worth it!
- Christos (9/5): Beautiful accommodation in the old city. - Beautiful, traditional house in the old city. Quiet neighbourhood, friendly owner.
- John (10/5): Exceptional -
- Duggan (10/5): Exceptional -
- Uta (9/5): Wonderful location, best for two people. Charming host - Eugenia waited for us even though we arrived late We used the appartement for three, which was a bit small. For two people it would have been perfect.
an additional shelf for toiletries would have been nice
- Joël (10/5): A quiet pearl in the heart of the Old Town - Freshly renovated, impeccably clean unit in the heart of the Old Town, yet on a quiet street where it feels very peaceful. The bed is very comfortable. Eugenia is a wonderful and generous host, a pearl of a human being. Strongly recommended!
- David (10/5): Glorious holiday time spent in a charming house - We loved the accommodation from the moment we arrived. The location is amazing, right in the heart of the old medieval town. The owner, Eugenia, I think must be the happiest person we’ve met and was beyond accommodating and helpful. She couldn’t do enough for us to ensure we enjoyed our stay there.
The two-storey house, the upper floor of which we had for our stay, is very clean and full of character and comes with all mod cons required. Also comes with a lovely balcony / terrace. The main thoroughfare with restaurants, bars, etc. is literally a 5 minute or less stroll.
Access to the old town/city is via numerous gates. We found the handiest ones to be Amboise Gate for proximity to the accommodation and Liberty Gate, especially if transporting wheeled luggage, due to the old cobbled streets.
We covered most of the ‘Things to Do’ in Rhodes while we were there but if we ever returned we would only want to stay at this little gem called Naria. We loved it all, no negatives
- Panagiota (9/5): Superb - Amazing host, she was really kind, she left us some food and her home made fanouropita as she anticipated that we would arrive very late to find food in the town. She also gave us advice on what to visit. Very prompt on communication on whatsapp. Excellent apartment, sizeable and very comfortable for two people. Fairly quiet despite being right at the centre of the nightlife of the old town. The only thing I would warn visitors is that the stair case to the first floor apartment was tiny and it was quite challenging to lift our suitcases and get them on to the first floor, they barely fit through the tiny stairs. I would advise travelling with small luggage if staying on the first floor apartment. Access to the ground floor apartment is straightforward.
- Michael (10/5): Exceptional - Superb location in the heart of Rhodes Old Town, lovely interior and an extremely hospitable host who was always at hand to offer advice and tips about how to make the most of our stay. Really enjoyed it!
- Anastasios (10/5): Exceptional - Friendliness and service of host.
Put the extra effort to make sure our stay was great!
- Juan (10/5): Exceptional -
- Graham (10/5): RhodesPerfect trip to old town - great location, well taken care off! everything was great!
