• Emma (10/5): Perfect for a rest and reset! - The location was perfect! Tom was a great help.with places to go to in the area. The chalet is kitted out really well and the bed is super comfortable. Perfect if you are after a digital detox as you will struggle with signal, wifi and tv! Great for the first few days, but then I needed my fix!

• Magdalena (10/5): Fisherman’s Dayghter exceeded our expectations! - Fisherman’s daughter is a lovely, spacious, comfortable chalet. The location is 10/10. Not only the chalet being so close to the beach, but it’s also a great starting point for day trips. The chalet was perfect for our doggy too, with the enclosed garden and the owners provided furniture cover and some lovely doggy treats too.
• Samantha (10/5): Perfectly peaceful beach stay. - Clean property, perfect peaceful location with gorgeous sea views, comfortable bed and sofa, hot shower, dog friendly. During busy beach times (sunny weekend), the delightful public used the car parking area for the property, and the private pathway access leading to the beach as a public toilet. The bushes were littered with used toilet paper!
• Anne-Kathrin (9/5): Eine Perle direkt am Meer, mit kleinem aber… - Wir hatten zwei wundervolle Wochen und empfehlen die Wohnung auf jeden Fall weiter. Die negativen Aspekte sind daher wirklich ins Verhältnis zu setzen, sollten aber trotzdem erwähnt werden. Erst mal alles positive: - Lage, Lage, Lage - Frühstück mit Meerblick - liegt direkt am Coast Path (in diesem Bereich allerdings Kiesuntergrund und schwer zu laufen) - Ruhe / idyllisches, sehr kleines Örtchen - saubere und bequeme Betten - saubere Handtücher - in und auf den Schränken noch viele dicke Decken, falls es zu kalt ist - E-Heizkörper vorhanden (haben wir nicht testen müssen) - Platz für Kinderklappbett neben unserem (mit ein bisschen Möbelrücken) - genug Schränke um Taschen auszupacken - Kühlschrank/TK/Ofen/Herd/Mikrowelle/Wasserkocher/Toaster vorhanden und in gutem Zustand - Parkplatz direkt an der Unterkunft - direkter Strandzugang - Kieselstrand - Wasser sehr sauber aber mit Sandalen schlecht zu laufen - schöner Terrassenbereich mit Möbeln hinterm Haus - Abstellmöglichkeiten für Räder (draussen) - sehr nette Nachbarn - perfekter Ausgangspunkt um die Jurassic Coast zu erkunden (mit Auto) - wir hatten wider erwartend Handy-Empfang und w-lan (alles langsam, aber für unsere Zwecke völlig ausreichend / Streaming ist wahrscheinlich nicht möglich) - sehr kleines Bad mit enger Dusche und kleinem Gästewaschbecken, kein Wandspiegel - Küchenschränke und Geschirr mussten von uns nochmal aus- und abgewischt werden - Küchenschränke schon in die Jahre gekommen - Reinigung vor uns war wohl eher oberflächlich, unser Kleinkind hat einige Spinnweben, Staub- und Haarecken unter/hinter Schränken und Sofa gefunden - da die Wohnung oft mit Hunden bewohnt wird, finden sich immer wieder verschiedenste Hundehaare an
• Darryl (10/5): Fantastic chalet, would definitely come again!! - This is an incredible location, literally 40m from the shingle beach. The photos don't do the chalet justice (something I advised the owner!!!), there is a large double bedroom that isn't necessarily clear from them. The location is fantastic, with many sights within easy reach. The Crown Inn in Punchknowle is lovely. Had a fantastic time, highly recommended!!! Nothing that could be sorted by the owner, only thing to be aware of is that this section becomes extremely busy with people fishing at weekends.

• Marissa (8/5): Lovely place! - Great location by the sea. Whilst it’s small the place is lovely, well decorated and clean throughout and a small secure garden in the back for the dogs. They even leave dog treats so it felt super dog friendly. Plus helpful information up front. Not about the property but the beach is really hard to walk on with dogs as large pebbles. This is just as an fyi.

• Linda (6/5): Very disappointed - The location was wonderful The property was not very clean. There was a smell of drains on arrival,we were hoping this would disappear, unfortunately the smell lingered.We found dirty oven gloves handing on the oven door. There was dirty cutlery in draws and plates in cupboard with dried food on. The bathroom was not very clean, the shower cubicle was dirty, and the toilet brush was disgusting. We came home a day earlier from our 3 night stay feeling disappointed.

• Thomas (8/5): A very much needed break away - Location, garden, the decor, how airy it was and all round comfort levels. Initially when entering it did smell a little musty but nothing a few open doors didn't fix. Sadly no WiFi as promised on the list of facilities which affected our downtime a little as we couldn't watch any films. If we had known there was no wifi, we probably would still have booked but our expectations would have been managed better

The property is very dog friendly with an outside enclosed area to the rear of the property and small sitting area to the front with a parking space right opposite. The private path to the beach was abit overgrow and could do with a tidy up but still kept looking natural.
