• Stepanka (10/5): Lovely hotel with amazing staff - We had such a great experience at Residence Wat Damnak. The room was lovely, with a balcony and beautiful décor. Although we had a simpler room for the first night, they moved us to a nicer room afterwards. Just be prepared to climb the stairs, as there is no lift. The breakfast was nice, with fruit, steamed or fried vegetables, noodles or rice, and an egg station. There are also two pools available, they provide drinking water, and the hotel is very well located in the centre. All the staff were incredibly kind and helpful throughout our stay. We had a wonderful time — thank you!

The hotel feels more like a home with the staff going out of their way to make you feel comfortable. Most of the staff seem to know your name, room number and the plan you have for the day. The rooms are very tastefully done and the bed linen and toiletries are top notch. The breakfast is great with a small buffet spread and’s largish menu that is prepared to order. You can order as many items as you like. The restaurant serves great food for other meals too. I also used their spa and the quality of the therapist was great. • Perter (10/5): Slept very well - Everything about this place is so amazing and unique. The staff was really kind and caring. The rooms, the lobby, the restaurant and pool were immaculate. It really is a 5 star resort. We also took the cooking class and were astonished at everything we learned and love the trip to the market with the chef. I would really recommend this place to even the pickiest of guests.

Access to 2 pools. Varied breakfast. Highly recommend and would definitely come back. Not a complaint, just a fact - the hotel consists of 3 separate buildings, we were given a room at the one named Golden Banana Residence on Google Maps. It was just a 50 meter walk from reception and the building and everything was great. Breakfast is served in the 3rd building just across the street where the reception is. This was completely not a problem for us at all, but we can understand if others feel a bit confused about the set up if not informed about this when booking.

Auch der Pool ist eine angenehme Erfrischung. Wlan war in Ordnung, sowie die Dusche. Das Bett war eine reine Katastrophe. Die Federn spüre ich heute noch. Die Stufen nach oben sind auch unzumutbar. Frühstück war sehr dürftig, auch wenn man satt wurde, war nichts besonderes dabei (außer die Eierstation).

When you come to this hotel, don't respect it higher. Because mostly the staff are just the students. But they will make you feel like family and friends. But you can talk sharing and help go and back. Especially Sreynet, Him, and Phanha they will give you feel like you are the family and Best friend. Poor family and hotel. Need to improve more. But I really like it here. I will come back with my family and friends for the next trip

• Miroslava (9/5): Hezký bazén - Moc hezký a čistý bazén s lehátky. Pohodlné a tiché ubytování v boční ulici kousek od centra, asi 5 - 10 min. pěšky od Pub street. Měla jsem pokoj v přízemí, v oknech nebylo sklo, ale jen síťka proti komárům a okenice, takže bylo slyšet ruch na ulici (ale dalo se to vydržet, není to hned u silnice, ale ráno mi pod oknem postávali řidiči tuk tuku). Nebylo kde usušit mokrý ručník a plavky.

• Hollie (7/5): - The staff at the property were extremely welcoming and helpful. The main building were the hotel served food was relaxing and the food was good. I booked a double superior/deluxe with pool view. The pictures advertised were of the main building. However, this hotel is actually now made up of 3 hotels, it has bought 2 nearby properties therefore the rooms that are advertised are only for the original property. I was disappointed when we were led down a side road to a building a couple of minutes away to a room that looked nothing like the one I booked on booking.com. At night there were no lights leading the way as well. The photos attached are definitely not what is advertised. I’m sure if you’re lucky enough to get put in the main building then it will be lovely.

Friendly staff at reception, Lisa was fabulous amongst other team members. Waiters are friendly. I will definitely go back when I’m back in Siem Reap.

The staff were so kind, friendly and knowledgeable — one young man talked us through all the key locations on the map, and all the services the hotel offered. Everybody’s English was outstanding, too. The location was unbeatable as a bonus, and our superior room was large, comfy and really nicely done up. Our balcony was excellent for relaxation, too. We slept very well! Nothing — it was all great! We found our shower’s water pressure to be a bit hit and miss, though.

Hier Pool auf dem Dach daher kein Zimmer wie gebucht mit poolview sondern Zimmer mit Ausblick auf Baustelle und Klimaanlagen. Frühstücksbuffet sehr spärlich. Am Ende 2 Stunden keinen Strom auf dem Zimmer.. Zimmer kein Kühlschrank und schwache Aircon. Riverview hotel ansonsten gut und sauber.

• SORIA (8/5): Mon séjour s'est bien déroulé dans l'ensemble. Personnel très gentil et disponible. - Entourage assez bruyant lors de l'utilisation de la piscine. L'escalier d'accès a la chambre mal conçu et limite dangereux.
• Chaudron (5/5): Manque d’entretien mais bien localisé! - Établissement bien localisé, sur une rue tranquille à côté du cœur de la vielle ville. Personnelle gentil. Assez propre. Établissement qui manque d’entretien. Lors de notre séjour en dec/janvier 2026 nous avons manqué d’eau à trois reprises. Dans notre chambre au dessus de la salle à manger les prises électriques étaient mal distribuées et certaines ne fonctionnaient simplement pas. Les 3/4 des lumières encastrés ne fonctionnaient pas. Le pommeau de douche était quasiment tout obstrué. Le papier peint qui se décolle entre les bandes. Une lampe de chevet sans prise pour la brancher. Un mur endommagé. Et il fallait brancher la bouilloire au sol dans le petit salon prêt du divan, seul prise accessible. Le déjeuner était correct sans plus. Ce sont plusieurs petites choses qui prisent seul sont un peu anecdotique, mais lorsque l’on les joutent les unes aux autres cela en fait un établissement qui manque d’amour et d’entretien.

• Martin (6/5): Close to all the important parts of town and the staff were friendly - Close to town center but on the quiet side of the river Bit tired in places but good value for money. Breakfast was a little average.
• Miklós Gábor (10/5): Kitűnő szállás, elképesztő ár-érték arány. - Kitűnő, medencés hotel, óriási szoba és óriási privát erkély, nagyszerű étterem kitűnő ingyenes reggelivel, és nagyon barátságos árú egyéb ételekkel. Luxus elképesztően kedvező áron.
• Veronique (8/5): Super hôtel au calme tout près de la ville - La gentillesse du personnel, leur disponibilité, l’emplacement de l’hôtel, le calme Un lit un peu trop dur, des escaliers pouvant être difficiles à monter pour les chambres du haut. (Demander des chambres en bas pour les personnes âgées ou à mobilité réduite)
• Tarasevich Natasha (7/5): - Расположение идеальное, рядом с центром, но в далеке от шумных улиц, хотя звуки из соседних баров ночью было слышно. Завтрак скудный, приносили свои йогурты и сыры, молочки вообще нет, только рис и макароны, омлет могут сделать и немного фруктов, на этом всё.

• Denise (9/5): Lieu idéal pour aller visiter les temples :j plus cirque phare 👍lotus farm et Apopo - Le lieu dans une rue très tranquille , très proche de la rivière La piscine Une chambre très spacieuse au 1 er étage avec bacon ; ( chambre 3 adultes ) cependant une personne de notre groupe avait du mal à monter des marches hautes Nous avons demandé une chambre en RDC beaucoup moins spacieuse

• Romane (8/5): - Le personnel est tres serviable et accueillant ! Nous avons passé un bon séjour. Juste de leger point d'amélioration mais nous recommandons cet hôtel ! Le petit déjeuner un peu simple. Salle de bain pas tres fonctionnelle, l'eau dans la douche ne s'écoule pas et il y en a vite partout. Chambre manque peut être un peu de lumière naturelle.
• Giles (1/5): - Booked the Residence Wat Damnak but rooms were in another building down the street?! No restaurant, bar or staff on site. Dirty towels, basic bed.
• Giles (1/5): - Staff were friendly and helpful My room was not in the Residence with its restaurant, facilities and staff, it was in a different building 200m away, not good at night. I asked to be moved on tge 1st night but was not. Management and/or owner will not respond to any messages to resolve our issues.

• Pau (10/5): - El buffet de l’esmorzar era genial. El personal era molt amable, a part, que en aquest projecte serveix per ajudar a gent de zones més pobres del voltant per a que puguin estudiar La segona piscina podria ser millorable però sempre tenies l’opció de l’altre
