Guest Reviews
- Graham (8/5): Very nice stay. - Excellent location in the middle of town overlooking the harbour and back up the Main Street to the hills. Comfy bed and well equipped. AC works well when you open the door to the outside unit to help it cool. See photo.
Trick to lighting the stairwell completely to the top is to open the little wooden hatch at the bottom and turning on lights from here. The main switch only lights the bottom half leaving you in pitch black at the top. See photo. Stairs. Like most properties in the area, stairs at the Bain of everyone’s existence. The last section is more akin to a ladder due to its steepness and the size of each step. Keep this in mind when you are considering your choice of luggage.
There was a funky smell when we got there, but keeping the bathroom window open helped. Also make sure you run about a half litre of water into the bidet every day and keep the plug in the kitchen sink. Old pluming problems.
Also, an umbrella for the deck would be nice. It is too hot to sit there during the day when the sun is on it.
Parking in the area is a problem. No parking is available anywhere before about 4pm when the day trippers leave, then Rio Park is at the top of town. $35euro a day, but handy.
- Arnaldo (7/5): Good - Great location and communication with the team. The stairs to get to the apartment were very steep. The terrace was unfortunately very dirty
- Arden (10/5): Exceptional - The view from the patio is absolutely stunning. The stairs were tight but 100% worth it after arriving to the top. Also the owners were super responsive and helpful. Everything was so clean and the bathroom was really nice too with a nice big shower. Was a perfect stay!
- Popa (9/5): Superb - Thr property has a very good position. You can see the village and also the sea. Bonus,it is near to the train station. The interior was very cute and had everything we needed. It was a bit difficult to carry the luggages on the stairs but we managed.
- Bernie (6/5): great location, amazing views, very bad smell in the kitchen - the location is the best. Nicely renovated apartment. The view from the terrace is amazing. Very clean except for the smell. The apartment had a very bad smell. Whne we arrived, it was a smell of stale water. Once we opend the sink snd the tap in the kitchen. It was a really bad smell of rotting food and worse. Seems the plumbing in the building has some problems.
- Rachel (9/5): Great base, clean and modern. Well stocked kitchen. - Really lovely accommodation. Steep stair but what you would expect. Very close to the station and lovely restaurants. There is no bathroom door.
- Bryson (9/5): Superb -
