Guest Reviews
- Helen (8/5): Great place to stay and explore Kent - Property was in the perfect location, close to the tennis court and pool.
Had a great time and the kids loved it, Chalet was clean and had everything we needed. Needs a bit of TLC, whilst clean, there is a big chip on the bathtub, and one of the outside chairs is broken. Not for someone with mobility issues, stairs very step and shower over the bath.
- Ben (1/5): If you want disappointment then come here! - It felt like going back to a place in the 90's Cigarette butts everywhere and the whole chalet had a horrible smell. We had to have all the windows open for a few hours before the kids said that it didn't smell. BBQ had 1 leg not even attached and was hanging to the side. The BBQ can't have cost more than 10p.
- Hundal (6/5): Pleasant - The location was great, and the chalet was nice, clean, and right next to the beach There was no Internet connection in the house , and no one answered the phone or message . In booking, it was said they have wifi but weren't there .
- Deborah (6/5): Pleasant -
- Suthan (8/5): Very good -
- David (4/5): Not in a hurry to return. - Plenty of hot water for bath and shower and cooking facility's were quite good. Plenty of cold storage with additional fridge in the dining area. Wi-Fi was not available for 90% of our stay and was very important to us as network was poor there. The host informed us that the Wi-Fi could be reset from the chalet next door if someone was there! Unfortunately, no one was staying there all week. A family moved in late on Friday but too late for us as we were preparing to leave. Duvet on double bed was not very clean. Rear door has a locking issue and was very difficult to secure, so we stopped using it after Sunday. Chairs at the front were damaged and not safe to use. Seating at the back was also unstable. Once we accessed the BBQ is was still full of the previous users burnt out coals and no cleaning had taken place. We cleared it and used it only as a stand for a disposable BBQ. Windows generally were annoyingly dirty. Misinformation relating to local amenities, pubs and restaurants has very odd and unsociable opening hours causing us to eat much further afield. Swimming pool with adjacent bar were closed for our entire stay. Blinds to the front did not close all the way leaving the glass doorway exposed, so no privacy in the lounge. People and children were peering through every time they passed (very awkward when leaving the downstairs shower)
- Martin (3/5): Grubby - No hot water for washing dishes so everything from the cupboards was covered in grease. Three emergency numbers but two didn't answer and one told us he never worked at the property.and dead bugs on beds.
- Douglas (10/5): Exceptional -
- Nian (1/5): Bad - Place Neither booking.com nor the contract from the properties mentions that electricity usage is pay-as-you-go. Those who travel to this property have to carry a minimum £10 to £15 coins to recharge the electricity. We struggled a lot to withdraw money and make it change. We called the three different numbers mentioned in the contract, 2 numbers were out of reach, one number belonged to a common maintenance guy for the area, he did not have any clue about the complaint.
TV was not working,
The bathroom door does not have any lock
One of the supervisor in the pool was really rude and she even was really disrespected towards us, because of the confrontation their manager came and she was really good at communicating and handling the situation, but the other lady was behaving like we are there to stay for free
- Julian (8/5): Very good -
- Rohini (5/5): Passable -
- Mitchell (6/5): A lovely stay but we wouldn't return, we've stayed in a lot nicer for less money. - The kids loved the site and the chalet, the kitchen had everything we needed for self catering and the beds were very comfortable. We enjoyed a family quiz night in the clubhouse and using the outdoor games. We made good use of the games cupboard in the chalet too! We weren't aware until arrival that there would be a walk from the car park to the chalet ( number 2 is only a short walk thankfully) the parking is very tight and it's a very steep drive upto the site itself. Although the chalet itself had everything we needed for cooking, we did need to clean everything before we used it. The stairs were pretty scary and not ideal for anyone with mobility issues. We fixed the blind in the living room so it closed properly while we were there. We played putting on our last day, early evening, and had to constantly stop for the children that were running around over the course and jumping in, no parents to be seen, they were aged between around 4 and 8!
- Monica (7/5): Good - It was perfect for the short stay we needed. The grassy areas and facilities on the park were amazing The property itself was clean enough, but the maintenance outside (decking/ garden) wasn’t maintained. The flower beds were overrun by weeds and the decking hadn’t be swept so was covered in cobwebs
- Katarzyna (7/5): Chalet Two- good for weekend stay - Perfect location, beautiful view, walking distance to the sea,
Facilities were good with access to the pool.
Site feels safe and despite many chalets is quiet. Property a bit dated in need of the update and tidy up front garden.
It is just maintained to rent out.
