Guest Reviews
- Linda (10/5): Had a love time 5 people easy access to some lovely restaurants and to beach - Location very good. Lovely decor and comfy beds Every thing on hand decor lovely
- Mark (10/5): Great location, generous size, rare parking space, great hosts. - Location, parking, bifolds and kitchen layout, 3 double bedrooms. Shower downstairs.
- Maria (10/5): Welcoming and relaxing home in a good location. - Very welcoming with a relaxed feel. I really liked the property.
- LindaKGraham (8/5): -
- Brian (7/5): Very enjoyable - The kitchen social area
Parking for two cars Small bed
Probably needs two single beds instead of small double
- Julian (9/5): Very comfortable and a great location. - The kitchen is the real centre of this house and was great. The bedrooms were a decent size and very comfortable. The front room was a bit odd and smelt ‘unused’ and for some reason we didn’t really use it much.
- Joanne (10/5): - Really comfortable, very well equipt, warm and clean throughout. Loved the kitchen - we spent most of our time chatting around the table. Great location - 2 min walk to shops, bars, restaurants and beach. Nothing all great!
- Beverly (10/5): - The Accommodation was in the perfect area.
It was very well kept. We had everything we needed N/A
- Sami (8/5): -
- David (10/5): A fantastic week. So close to the high street with parking - It's Whitstable so parking is a real issue.
This home solves that with two off road parking spots. Maybe a sofa required in the dining room.
- Patric (9/5): Helemaal prima - Gezellig met smaak in gericht Mag eens betert gepoetst worden
- Lisa (9/5): York House - Location
Facilities If being picky - could do with comfy seating in the kitchen/diner, as that’s where you spend most time
- Craigjf (8/5): Comfortable stay in a lovely town. - The location was perfect with easy access to the restaurants and sea front.
We liked the fact that the house had three double beds. Although the heating/hot water failed on our second day this was corrected by our host very quickly. Almoast a positive rather than a negative.
- Justine (8/5): Very good - Fantastic location. So easy to get everywhere in Whistable and 2 parking spaces. The dogs policy was great for us. And dealing with agents very easy. Kitchen/diner nice, and little garden. Very steep stairs. Some of the towels were not great. Cooker bit small if you had a family gathering.
- Sally (9/5): A fun, family birthday weekend. - Stylish interior, warm and cosy, good location. Parking. Spacious convivial kitchen. Expensive for one family paying
- Peter (8/5): The stay was enjoyed by all of us: five adults and two dogs. - Great location, nearby to the High Street and beach. Zero.
- Alison (9/5): Perfect house and location for self catering holiday. - Beautiful house. Everything very clean and well organised. Lovely location. We had a great time. Would stay again A hoover would be helpful . Overall no complaints was all excellent.
- Andrew (10/5): Beautiful property, full of character and charm with all the necessary amenities. - The location was excellent, right in the heart of Whitstable.
- Jim (9/5): Very enjoyable, lovely family together space in the kitchen. We spent a lot of time in the kitchen around the table. We - Good layout
Very well equipped - had everything we needed. It felt like a family home rather than a rental holiday home .
Right in the centre of town and easy to walk in. Appreciated the parking spaces as parking on the street nearby would have been difficult
Good access from the back gate from the cars and safe for children . Possibly only two things - stairs very steep and creaky . Our young three year old was very careful and her Granny took her time too.
We never did find a new bin bag for the large bin in the kitchen. It doesn’t mean it wasn’t there…. So many drawers, cupboards and shelves.
One of the deckchairs needs a new screw in the arm to fix it. We didn’t use that one.
- Clare (9/5): Superb -
