Guest Reviews
- White (9/5): Good price, lovely neat spacious room and 25% on food and drinks. - Staff members friendly, room neat, spacious. Not sure
- soh (1/5): - Bad

- Jo (10/5): - The staff were all most welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. It is great that it is a family concern.
The food from the restaurant was first class, authentic and delicious 😋 and hotel guests get a discount.
Walking distance from tube station, so easy to get into Central London but also local taxi firms nearby and Ubers.
- Leanne (10/5): Lovely stay - Staff
Location was good
Clean rooms

- Helen (10/5): - Visiting the Royal Orthopedic Hospital. Stayed at the Maddona Haley 3 times. It is close to train/bus station. Friendly staff could not be more helpful. Very colourful and lively back garden/restaurant/bar with music. Was even given a lift to the hospital each time I stayed. Comfy beds (stayed in 3 different rooms), tea and coffee in the room and free coffee and pastries in the morning. Would definitley stay again if my partner has to go back to Stanmore. Can think of anything!!

- Nicola (10/5): Phenomenal hosts, went above and beyond, we are blown away by our welcome and hospitality shown . - Beautiful building , amazing character, stunning personal touches that hit you straight in the heart. From hand made vases and crockery to the piano playing we were treated to ! Right from the start of our time in London , the hosts went over and above for all our requests .
Stunning architecture and personal touches and attention to detail.
The family and all staff , very friendly and made it feel like home from home .
Tulis will be our friend for life , he is one special guy ! Made our stay feel like staying with family . We could have spent our whole trip with him alone .
Would like to say once again Thank you ! Forever in our hearts . Dave and Nickie (Scotland ) Nothing ! There is absolutely nothing to say we didn’t like .
We will always stay here when in London from now on .

- Frances (8/5): Avery unique sort of place. - The ambience was wonderful. so atmospheric. The food and staff were great. One or two items in our room did not work so that was a downside. Abedside light did not work as the socket was broken. No control for the television, and one didnot appear inspite of it being reported.
- Andre (9/5): -
- Michelle (10/5): Perfect ❤️ - The location, the beautiful building. The room size My friends room smelt a bit damp but mine was perfect (205)
- Andrew (1/5): Did not stay - We did not stay it looked nothing like the picture and did not match the description, a guest house at best . One that needs attention. Still want a refund Everything
- Tapciuc (8/5): -
- Simona (6/5): - I like the stuff and the garden The beds wasn't clean enough, lots of stains on the bedding and hair. The windows was rusty and some of them was broken.
The shower head also broken
- Ruth (8/5): Quirky Hotel, good location - Room was a great size for 3 adults, staff and owner very friendly & welcoming. Nice area to stay outside of Central London with good bus/tube links. Property is quirky with interesting decor. Owner made space available for parking. The parking isn't obvious being outside neighbouring properties - so probably best to check before arrival. (We might have missed an email!)

- peter (8/5): Friendly staff very helpful - Good location
- Joanne (6/5): Mixed bag! - Location near Canons Park tube was really good. Room was comfortable. Was offered a free meal after problem with the room key which was very kind. The restaurant was like a nightclub, it was very noisy with loud music until 1am and we struggled to get to sleep. It was not made clear on the website when booking that the restaurant gets this loud.
Website said there was parking but was just offered a space in front of a neighbouring house, though I believe this has been rectified on their information now.
- Cherrie (2/5): Nice Restaurant but awful hotel - Restaurant was really nice, we did have a lovely meal before we made our way to the concert we was booked at. Staff friendly and moved their car for us to park ours. Booking.com states there is parking. There is but limited, as mentioned above staff moved their car so we could park but it was outside some houses next to the hotel.
Our room was 205 and above the toilets of the hotel, so could hear the hand dryers constantly. Lots of people in and out due to the restaurant, even at 1am!!
The room was ok, nice size but creaky floor boards, light in the bathroom didn't work, but the one on the mirror did so that was good enough for us. Headboard on the bed was lose and rattled when you moved.
Not somewhere I'd stay again, we gave up and drove home at 1am.
- Daniel (3/5): -
- Carol (7/5): Disappointing facilities - Proprietor and staff pleasant and helpful Bed linen. Noisy room
- Suzie (5/5): Quite a mixed bag really. Didn't quite meet our expectations but reasonably good value. - The staff were very friendly.
The location is perfect for accessing London on the tube.
We loved the character of the bar and the food and drink there was excellent. The bedroom didn't look much like the pictures. The bed was very uncomfortable and the bar was very noisy all night.
The shower was either hot or cold there wasn't really an in-between.
Parking was unclear. There is no car park but they offer parking on the drives outside houses just along the street.
- Sarah (5/5): Strangest place ever… wouldn’t have stayed if I’d of been alone. - Strangest place I have ever been!
Good location to the tube station. Bed was uncomfortable
Is nothing like the photos
Not very clean
Shower was awful.. no water pressure at all!
- Jenigh (8/5): Very welcoming and couldn’t do enough for you. It was in a perfect location for what we were looking for. - Staff were very very formerly and helpful.
- Muhammad (7/5): - The bar and restaurant downstairs
- Iulian (9/5): -
- Lorna (9/5): -
- Issie (2/5): This should be advertised as rooms above a bar, rather than a hotel with a restaurant bar. - It was a handy location for where I was working. The room was very spacious. There were some amazing ceramic basins and tiling around the property. The shisha bar/ restaurant is an amazing space. The waiting staff were friendly and the food was decent. It is less a hotel, more some rooms above a shisha bar/ restaurant, that opens until 1 am, and is very loud with people and music. My room was right above the bar, and the window panes were broken, some windows painted open, so it was incredibly loud.
The bed was a bit broken on one side. The room was really big and well equipped but the noise just made it a really unpleasant and in relaxing stay. Being there for work it was frustrating that I couldn’t relax and sleep when I wanted to.
- Jodie (7/5): Nice hotel but lacks reasonable parking and very noisy stay - Lovely staff, nice room. Poor parking, didnt feel safe. Expected to park on a drive adjacent to the property so not as described in the listing. Location wasnt great but not the hotels fault. Unfortunately very noisy and very little sleep but again not the hotels fault at all so not their failure
- Andrew (9/5): - Warm and welcoming and an absolute gem. The owner showed us the extensive outside space which made us feel whisked back in time to ancient Cyprus with a contemporary modern twist.
- andrew (8/5): Great place good location -
- Joe (8/5): - Clean room, comfortable bed. I don't need anything else ! Staff were friendly and helpful Nothing
- Małgorzata (10/5): -
- Paula (10/5): -
- Sabrina (10/5): -
- Varlan (10/5): -
- Leigh (8/5): - The garden the sink The place is absolutely amazing to stay have dinner
- Jean (1/5): -
- Gemma (7/5): The staff were very friendly and couldn’t do enough to help us, there are no lifts and my son is unable to walk up stair - On the outside you wonder what it’s going to like but the bedrooms are good.
- Anne (8/5): - I stayed 4 nights. It was a great location for me as I needed to visit Stanmore hospital every day.A very easy walk to the bus and tube station at Edgeware with plenty of shops and eateries. The Shishi Garden Restaurant which is part of the hotel is truly quirky and a real experience and the food is really good. I was very unsure when I arrived...Parts of the hotel are a bit tatty and the front entrance could be smarter. However, the room was very spacious, clean with comfortable bed.The bar and restaurant are truly amazing. The morning coffee was excellent.
- Nazim (7/5): -
- Sathyamoorthy (8/5): -
- Sarah (10/5): Welcoming, friendly and just what we needed. - Fab location near Stanmore train station. The hotel was really quirky & interesting. Old parts that were being renovated mixed with a fabulous outdoor restaurant with heaters. The food was delicious & the staff were very friendly. Complimentary breakfast of fresh pastries was a bonus! Nothing.
- Callie (4/5): - We arrived late at night with our young daughter and it felt quite intimidating as there were a few bunches of men hanging around outside. Loud music continued until nearly midnight.
There were no towels in the room.
- Dimitra (10/5): -
- William (10/5): - Great hospitality and hotel architecture
- Sofian (9/5): -
- Thisula (8/5): - The breakfast wasn’t served to us as there was nobody working there Someone working downstairs in the morning
- Florio (10/5): - . .

- David (10/5): Unique designed hotel with welcoming helpful staff with a location great for Wembley event. - The hotel is very unusual, designed by the present owner with an almost 'Aztec' feel, with indoor gardens on multi levels.
We were made to feel welcome, and the staff were amazing - eager to help in any way. Good sized room, basic but clean. Plus location excellent for an event at Wembley. A bit noisy during night.
- David (10/5): A1 - All
- Sarah (10/5): Great - Location staff cleanliness price Nothing
- Ian (9/5): A very pleasant stay at a reasonable price as well - The most amazing thing was the garden. The staff were all very friendly and welcoming, the room was clean and comfortable and the complimentary coffee and pastries in the morning were a nice touch as well The parking is limited
- Merita Salma (8/5): Comfortable room with 25%discount in restaurant - Very nice interior design, good size room, comfortable bed. Coffee maker.Spring water and biscuits as complimentary and 25%discount at The Shisha Garden Was cold radiator and towels rack in winter time
- HCMF (8/5): -
- Madalina (10/5): -
- Alpha S (5/5): - The price was reasonable The room I was in was not for tall persons as one could hit head-on walls easily.
- Ciprian (6/5): - Nu a fost căldură. Trebuia să ne schimbe camera. Și la toaletă nu puteau să tragi apa. Locația era superbă .
- William (8/5): Ideal for a short stay - handy to get into London via tube - Great location for tube station. Very nice inside Windows very thin and lots of street noise let in
- Derek H (1/5): Red flag warning, read negative reviews. - Nothing, I refused to stay there. Parking was in neighbours garden driveways off a very busy road. Really dangerous to park. The hotel has no parking. This is a big red flag that i missed as for once I failed to read the negative scores. If I had read them I would not have wasted my money on such a place.
- Ikojie (7/5): -
- Tom (10/5): Great hotel for a fun vibing night , attentive owner 😊 - Super Hotel just what we needed , super food and brilliant outdoor space thats vibing and warm in winter.. great staff. Super value and 25% off food and drinks for residents.
- Shams (8/5): -
- Tom (2/5): Would not reccoemtn staying here - Good location and the staff were very nice! The floor is so squeaky. And every morning at 6am the people in the room above getting ready for work, the ceiling was just constantly squeaking for 40 mins which woke me up and kept me up.
The Bed was really uncomfortable, could feel the bed frame.
The property said there was free off road private parking but when I arrived there was one space for the entire hotel. I had to park down another separate road.
The shower took ages to heat up and drizzled out.
- Corina (9/5): -
- Esther (6/5): The shape of my room was rather scaring than aesthetic as supposed. But the room was neat and the outdoor bar fantastic! - Location and neatness The shape of my room
- Simon (7/5): -
- Gordon (10/5): -
- Ben (8/5): -
- Rachel (9/5): -
- Neil (8/5): Good stay for a good value - The location is great. There’s a popular bar right below and it a 10-minute walk to the train station The bed.

- John (9/5): -
- Mohamud (5/5): -
- Prisca (8/5): -
- Oluwatobi (9/5): Amazing - Excellent staff and service was top notch It’s alright in general
- Derek (1/5): Worst hotel I’ve been in - Nothing only leaving Room was dirty, bed throw had what looked like blood on it, window was damp, bathroom was dirty, shower was full of dirt and seal on glass was all gunge, there was no parking at hotel, bass music was blasting out from the Shisha bar until 1am, heaters didn’t work and half the sockets were faulty. The host wasn’t the most welcoming.
- Matthew (10/5): The staff bend over backwards to make you comfortable 10/10 - Everything, very unique and cool venue. The staff were excellent and warm. In the morning the owner bent over backwards to offer us multiple freshly made coffees and Pastries which are complementary. Loved it. Nothing.
- Loredana (10/5): Thank you - Is quick to book for my trip Is near ti train station
- Michael (8/5): Exotic, Electric & Unusual - Perfect Location - An eclectic experience. Rooms are. Old fashioned but comfortable. Staff are wonderful and the hotel is 5 minutes walk from Canon Park tube - 3 stops from Wembley Arena or Stadium.. At night the garden turns into a den of delights with great food & drink - just try it! Noisy on a Saturday night - but we slept fine.
- Chloe (7/5): -
