Guest Reviews
- Joe (10/5): All the above - Clean, tidy and comfortable

- Asha (8/5): Disappointing - It was clean and comfortable. I booked this for my brother and his Young family as birthday treat for my nephew. Prior to the booking there was no mention about that you have to buy the park passes separately. Which cost £100 for a family of 4. Even that is mostly for the pool and the play area but you have to pay separately for all the other attractions. The owner does not provide bed linen or the towels either. It’s an another inconvenient as you have to carry everything with you. This should definitely mention in the bookings before you pay for it.
- Rebecca (9/5): - Lovely caravan, very comfortable clean and spacious, equipped with lots of bonus items such as deckchairs, an airer, radiators and windbreaks.
The kitchen was also equipped well, having pots, pans, cutlery and crockery (although no 'key' type tin opener - so if you prefer these, bring one with you!)
The shower is powerful and a good size, with the bathroom being a 'jack and jill' type with 2 doors making it ensuite to the main bedroom but with access from the corridor.
The owner, Danielle, was absolutely wonderful, communication was quick about the few problems we did encounter and she sorted them out straight away.
The location was great for beach days and there are lots of nearby towns to explore as well as sites of historical interest
We used the onsite facilities (which are available for an additional cost), the indoor pool was clean and a good temperature, however the outdoor pool's heating wasn't working which made this very cold, even in 24°C temperatures. The shop was well stocked, if a little expensive and the surrounding cafes and attractions were good for nipping out for breakfasts/ takeaways.
All in all, a lovely stay and I would recommend it to others. The caravan itself is lovely, but we did have issues with the park (which is obviously outside of the owner 's control) I mention it here only for balance and to make sure future bookings are aware.
Due to the way the park is arranged, the caravans are all quite close, meaning it can get noisy. We had several nights of people running around/ talking loudly until the early hours of the morning which the thin walls of caravans don't block out (ear plugs/ white noise needed).
The booking system for the pools meant you had to book 24hrs in advance, but in practice if you wanted to swim at 5pm on Monday you needed to have booked this, in person with the lifeguards at 9am on Sunday so planning ahead is a must! There's 1 set of booking for both pools so whilst it does mean it doesn't get too busy, it does mean it gets booked up fast.
Other than these issues, cannot fault it at all - just be prepared, organised and willing to ask the neighbours to keep it down when it gets late and you'll have a great time!
- Myra (6/5): Our first-time experience at a holiday / caravan park. - The caravan was clean, well-maintained, and included cooking facilities, which we appreciated. We prepared a chicken curry and rice during our stay, and the cooker worked brilliantly. We paid over £50 for access passes for myself, my husband, and our 5-year-old son. Unfortunately, we were unable to use any of the park’s facilities as they were consistently fully booked.
We attempted to book the swimming pool on the day we arrived but were told it was already full and advised to return the next morning. When we returned at 9am the following day, we were again informed there were no available slots. Although there was a small outdoor play area with swings and climbing frames, it was always very busy, and sadly, my son didn’t get a chance to use the swings.
The nights were quite noisy, with people walking by, often intoxicated, which felt a bit unsettling—especially around 2:30am when we had the windows open due to the warm weather. It would have been helpful to have a fan provided in the caravan.
We were pleased that the caravan had Wi-Fi, which was fast and reliable. However, the fridge was very small, making it difficult to store my son's favourite snacks. That said, the bathroom was spotless, which I really appreciated, as cleanliness in this area is a top priority for me.
Diane was lovely and very helpful during our phone conversation. She explained everything clearly and took the time to listen. I had mentioned that my son is autistic and non-verbal, and that this was our first experience staying at a holiday park. We recently stayed at this holiday park and unfortunately, the experience did not meet our expectations.
Firstly, the mattresses were very uncomfortable — you could feel the springs through them, making it difficult to sleep. Thankfully, my husband checked the sofas and discovered one of them was a pull-out sofa bed, which wasn’t mentioned in the listing. It had a foam mattress, which was much more comfortable and allowed me and our young son to sleep well. Unfortunately, my husband had to sleep on a regular sofa, which was not suitable for sleeping and left him quite uncomfortable. It would be helpful if the host updated the listing to mention the presence of a sofa bed in the lounge, as it could benefit future guests.
Another issue for us was the absence of a vacuum cleaner. While the caravan appeared clean on the surface, it was quite dusty — something not easily visible, but it immediately triggered my allergies and caused persistent sneezing. I like to keep walking areas clean and dust-free, so not having access to a vacuum was a real downside.
The air fryer provided was extremely dirty and emitted a bad smell. It clearly hadn’t been cleaned properly and wasn’t usable. There was also no foil available, which made cooking more difficult. We brought our own bedding as advised, which wasn’t a problem, but just added to the luggage.
The fridge was very small, and unfortunately, we weren’t able to store our leftover food properly — a real shame, especially since we had cooked a full meal. Including some plastic storage containers or a slightly larger fridge would make a big difference.
The TV was a standard one — not a smart TV — which was disappointing for us. Our autistic son prefers watching YouTube and Netflix on a larger screen, and having a smart TV would have really helped keep him engaged and settled. A smart TV is a small but valuable investment, particularly for families with young children or additional needs.
- Jermaine (8/5): -
- Ling (8/5): Expected More from a private Caravan. - Lovely site Entertainment staff Five Stars especially Louis and Andrew. Lovely owner but unfortunately not as well equipped for self catering no tin opener, dustpan and Brush, cooking dishes.
I get that things may go missing from guests but would be better to have a waiver and returned once checked.
We reported problem with the sink they came out the next day which was good and they did bring a washing up bowl, potato masher and fish slice with them.
The Air fryer was a nightmare was very hard to get it back in to work.
Bit more attention to detail dirty cups and lollies and ice cubes still left in a freezer that badly needs defrosting.
The beds unfortunately were very hard.
And the paving slabs leading up to the van is a accident waiting to happen.
- Guest (10/5): Brilliant - It was my first but definitely not the last trip there! Kids already asked if will we ever go back there.
Thank you
- Rebecca (8/5): Very good - The caravan had everything that you needed for your stay.
- Schoblocher (10/5): Lovely, clean caravan, equiped with everything you need for a short stay. - Caravan park is very close to the seaside. It has a lovely swimming pool- fun for kids. The night disco was quite loud.
- Horwood (8/5): Very good -
- Wayne (10/5): Good stay would visit again - Brilliant stay everything as described and good holiday park with plenty for the kids to do
- Lois (7/5): Good - Location
- Okwara (9/5): Peaceful and comfortable with excellent customer service - LOCATION N/A
- Lucie (9/5): Cosy and clean. Good value for money. - The property was very clean and smelled nice upon arrive. All utensils and bedding were clean and new looking. Nicely decorated and cosy. Unlike some other caravans we have rented at this site and others nearby this van does not allow dogs and so we didn’t have to deal with other peoples dog hairs being woven into the Berber carpets, seating and bedding. My pet hate haha. Wi Fi would be a good addition.
