• David (9/5): We all loved the place. So interestingly transformed. Wonderful location. - Wonderful space, warm and fascinating redevelopment of an old industrial building. Lots of interesting items eg pool table and table football. Great location. Really near the centre of a beautiful town. We had a problem with fuses tripping and had to call the owner. He sorted it quickly. It happened again but he had left the door to the fuse unlocked so we were able to,sort it out

• Joanne (8/5): looks an impressive property, but falls a little short on the quality you expect for the price paid - made contact with the host the night before we arrived to confirm someone would meet us at the property, I was asked what time I would arrive and then asked to phone the host 30 mins prior to arrival, so he could meet us at the property. The next day phoned as instructed but the host had 2 parties turning up at the same time so provided instructions of where to collect the key (2 mins down the road) phoned the host who directed me into the property. When walking into the property, it certainly has the wow factor, it's big, bright, spacious and modern and looks very impressive. The bathrooms are also all very lovely, but lacking bath mats, so floors became quite wet. Most of the beds were comfy enough, but the double beds are mattresses placed on boards, held up by dodgy looking supports under the bed which were quite wobbly. The host provided details of where everything was and told us to call if there was anything else we needed. All very simple and easy upon arrival. The property has a noise detector, which is not in the photos and is not mentioned anywhere in the property details. Initially this wasn't an issue for us, as we do not class ourselves a noisy bunch. We are 4 couples away for a paddle boarding weekend. The property while big and spacious, causes a lot of echo's, even boiling the kettle or making a coffee from the coffee machine creates a substantial amount of noise. The property has a football table in it, while being good fun, it's also a noisy game to play especially when you score, due to cheering, laughing etc! I received a text from the host at 11.15pm (while we were playing table football) to say the noise had reached 78db and that the noise responders had been alerted and that they would be visiting the property. I didn't these messages until the morning, however no one came round to the property that night. This was really disconcerting, as we didn't feel the noise had been excessive. The bedrooms also caused us a bit of an issue, as the mezzanine floor is classed as a bedroom. If you have people staying in the bedroom (that sleeps 4) at the top of the house, they have to walk through the mezzanine floor to use the bathroom facilities, effectively walking through the bedroom. A little awkward when you have people sleeping on the mezzanine floor. There are plenty of dinning room chairs in the property, but only 2 sofa's for comfy seating (enough for 5 people at a push) which isn't really enough when the property states it sleeps 10 people. Finally, the write up of the property states it has a well equipped kitchen. I would say the kitchen was adequately equipped, I've seen much better in much smaller properties. Things like clothes for wiping down sides were missing, kitchen roll and general cleaning items were also not there.
