Had to climb winding wooden staircase up two flights! Would have preferred a private bath, but it was okay. Also, an overhead fan would help in hot weather, as there is no AC. Good windows, though, and it cooled down at night.

• Manuel (10/5): My amazing experience at Georgian Guest Rooms in Basel, Switzerland. - This place is big and comfy. Amita is a kind host, with a very polite and lovely decorated house. You really feel comfortable here. The neighbourhood is quiet and it is reasonable near Basel SBB which has train connections to other cities in Switzerland. A very nice experience!

The host was super friendly and accommodating. The wi-fi was a little hit and miss on the top floor. As a minor point, the basic room didn't have a mirror.
