Guest Reviews
- Dave (10/5): Great room, staff was always nice and helpful. Very clean room. No complaints! - Excellent location, plenty of nearby parking, including free spaces. Bar closes very early
- Lisa (10/5): Comfortable, clean, and reasonably priced. - The property was in a neat building the warehouse district. The staff was friendly and super helpful. The room was nice—living area with nice touches like wet bar, vintage record player, and records; huge bathroom, and separate bedroom. The only suggestion I would make is to improve the lighting in the room as it was a bit dark.
- Adam (9/5): - Great location to start and we always enjoy that everything is front and center as you walk in making check in easy. Rooms are spacious and always comfortable. Only issue we had was that it took the water quite a long time to heat up when taking a bath or shower.
- Haag (10/5): The best location and the best staff! -
- Russel (9/5): Charming spot located near all local attractions - Charming, historic building and location No issues.
- Uyen (8/5): -

- dbarlos (9/5): Interesting building - Interesting building. Good location. Spacious room. View not the best (another wall) , but room was great.
- Jeffrey (9/5): -
- Logan (5/5): Overpriced for a glorified motel. - Location Bed was uncomfortable. One of the pillows was a half pillow not even Norma size.
- Amy (10/5): -
- Jamal (10/5): -
- Monica (2/5): - Location Dirty floor, not enough towels, no housekeeping to take out trash, loud noisy neighbors yelling and fighting, front desk phone nonresposive
- Rene (3/5): Rook issues affected my stay and property perception. Have had good stays here before, but not this time. - Nice staff Plugged bathtub/shower and no hot water
- Jeffrey (7/5): Good enough to today, but not good enough to keep me coming back. - My suite was generously sized. However, it had only one window for two rooms, and that faced a brick wall. The elevator was slow during the morning rush hour. Not great for trying to arrive on time for business.

- Marie (9/5): - La situation par rapport au quartierfrançais.
La chambre était spacieuse, l'hôtel est très bien décoré. Le canapé dans la chambre familiale n'était vraiment pas confortable.
- Aaron (8/5): Clean, convenient, comfy .. centrally located… priced right .. - Central located No parking .. but to be fair .. I was made aware of this prior to booking
- Saul (8/5): Pictures are a little nicer a little outdated - The location is nice. Can’t use a bit of a touchup. The parking situation but it is New Orleans did find street parking which was on a meter base through an app. Convenient to refill but about $20 a day.
- Jimmy (7/5): - Location A/C is ridiculous throughout the hotel. Customer service is terrible except for the young lady, Lucy that worked the front desk on our return stay. If it weren't for her it would have been a total failure of us coming back. The other girls at the front desk should take some lessons from Lucy when it comes to Customer Service!

- Annie (7/5): -
- Bency (10/5): -
- Desmon (8/5): - The hotel overall was very clean, the staff were very nice and friendly. The valet response time to the messaging system was delayed. I called for my vehicle, and wasn’t responded to for over an hour during a time when the busy.
However, the front desk handled the problem extremely well.
- ALINA (4/5): 🪳woke up to a friend in our room🪳 - Walkable distance to attractions. Our stay started off rough. The first room we were placed in had a broken AC—we initially assumed it just needed time to cool down, but we ended up sweating through the entire first night. After bringing it to the front desk the next day, staff were very kind and accommodating and moved us to a new room with working AC.
Unfortunately, the issues didn’t stop there. The following morning, we found a roach in our room on the 8th floor, which was pretty unsettling. While we understand pests can be common in the area, it was still uncomfortable and concerning. We reported it immediately and requested another room change, along with some form of compensation for the repeated inconvenience and having to move twice.
We were moved again and told management would follow up regarding compensation—but we never heard back. By that point, it was too late to switch hotels since we only had one night left and an early 2am departure.
On a positive note, the breakfast was simple but great, the lobby was very cute, and the staff we interacted with were consistently kind and helpful. However, the combination of the AC issue, the roach, and multiple room changes really impacted our experience. Unfortunately, we wish we had chosen to stay elsewhere.
- Daniel (10/5): - Location and receptionist
- Daniela Elizabeth (1/5): -
- Molly (10/5): - Everything Nothing
- Aaron (7/5): Will be back - Convenient & Priced right AC was not cold in room
- Jimmy (4/5): - Location Facilities are terrible. A/C does not cool the rooms and the hotel is hot. Very unprofessional staff with zero skills with customers service. Front desk staff is rude and very unwelcome feel as soon as you walk in the doors. Location is the only positive. Wish I didn't have a return booking but since its so late to cancel and book elsewhere it will have to do but never again.
- Lillian (8/5): Great location, comfortable and open room - The location was exceptional, outside of the main tourist locations but within easy access to public transportation, the riverwalk and many restaurants. It was simple to get out the door and walk to Canal Street within a few minutes, and the French Quarter within 10-15 minutes. The breakfast was also good, slightly elevated compared to a basic continental breakfast with a variety of options. I also appreciated that all of their rooms were suites, which appealed to us as we were traveling with a teenager. The room was clean, the beds were comfortable, the towels were soft and clean, and there was plenty of charm to the older building. The hotel could use some refreshing. Everything was just a little...loose and slightly broken. For example, the faucets in the bathroom room were all wiggly, the toilet flushing button was a little stuck, and many of the outlets didn't work. We switched rooms our first night because when we pulled out the couch bed, it was broken. Many of the channels on the TV didn't work, just a message that said weak signal. None of these issues are deal breakers for our family, we are not picky, and the overall price of the hotel was good enough for the location and our budget to overlook them.
- Nora (10/5): - This is a nice hotel! I truly enjoyed my stay here. The room actually caught be by surprise. When you walk in you have a living room that is separated from the bedroom. Very spacious cute room. The bed was comfortable as well! It was also quiet, which was important to me. Very clean. Nothing.
- Nora (10/5): -
- Kaydee (10/5): -
- Paul (8/5): Position and rooms are great and the staff friendly - Great position, friendly staff, complimentary breakfast , big rooms and super comfortable bed and pillows. No cleaning of the room whilst staying multiple days and no laundry service with no doin laundry nearby.
- Matt (10/5): -
- VanZant (9/5): Perfect locatation in NOLA. - The location is great walking to French Quarter, WWII museum, Cafe DuMonde, Bourbon Street. Great coffee at breakfast, decent breakfast. Quieter than staying closer to Bourbon Street. It is an older building a little chilly.
- Jared (10/5): -
- carissa (10/5): - Staff location
- April (7/5): -
- chad (6/5): Overall a decent stay while in New Orleans valet was slow vehicles stayed on the streets for hours luckily no ticket lol - Nice location walking distance to downtown Sofa bed was broke, had to put springs on and main bar was broke ,Tub drained super slow water would fill over ankles while showering,
- Mallory (10/5): The perfect stay, location, atmosphere, price, amenities. Simply spectacular! - Convenient location with unique charm in the heart of New Orleans! The turntable and records in the room were such an epic touch!! Everything exceeded expectations, no complaints at all!
- erica (7/5): Overall my stay was good and I would book again - The location was perfect and close to everything I did not like that housekeeping wasn’t daily.
Valet was extremely too high
- Bridget (8/5): Overall pretty good stay! Bed was comfy - Location was great! Room was super cute! Breakfast wasn't very good.
- Ryan (8/5): -
- Jennifer (1/5): Would not stay again. Poor customer service. No air-conditioner. - The location was great and had several restaurants you could walk to in the evenings to get food. Close to the main downtown areas but far enough away to be out of the crowds. The air conditioner did not work in our room. It was 77 the entire time. The hotel staff offered a decrease in my rate for our stay without me even asking for one but they never made the adjustments even after calling multiple times. I never once was able to speak to a manager. I spent 1300 on this hotel for 2 nights. I will not stay again because they do not keep their word even though we were patient and accommodating to situation in which we never had to be! Apparently the hot rooms is a recurring problem as well as the poor customer service.
- Dean (9/5): Our stay was overall a great experience, close to entertainment and restaurants. We were able to walk everywhere we want - Location, quietness, and privacy. Coffee machine was not working properly and breakfast potatoes were not seasoned.
- Faranack (7/5): - The size of the room with fridge and coffeemaker and size of the bathroom ; and complimentary coffee and basic breakfast offerings in lobby. The carpet in the room; outdated bathroom; tv options.
- Brooks (10/5): -
- Pam (10/5): Over all it was great!! SHOUT OUT TO ROCHELLE GIRL YOU GOT IT GOING ON - Rochelle the front desk person was great! We was there for a cry and got stuck in New Orleans and could not get home like 4 days after we should had been home!! She was great and understood !! Very helpful she is the reason I will stay there again The late desk person!! She was rude!! I will say she was not Pleasant at all and she is in the room business !! She need to be behind the scenes!! I was already upset I could not get home!! I was about to beat her fill in the blank
- William (8/5): - Location, atmosphere staff Older
- Brittney (7/5): Good value for the location/size of room, but missing some basic amenities you want on business trip - The property was a great value for it's proximity to the convention center, restaurants and the airport. The suite set-up was great so that it felt less like a hotel, and closer to an apartment. I had to change rooms twice since the TVs did not work in the first 2 rooms. They also did not offer a cleaning service or restock the coffee during my 3 night, 4 day stay. The bar was only open Wednesdays to Sunday, so I could only utilize it one night during my stay.
- Fred (10/5): Pleasant stay, friendly staff and convenient location. - Breakfast was nice and the location was perfect for attending a conference at the Convention Center.
- Charlotte (7/5): Great location. Clean - Great location. Clean It could use some updating.
- Christopher (10/5): -
- Amanda (5/5): - The location and staff were great. Understandable it is an old building but the maintenance needs to be kept up. The sink in our room dripped, our front door did not close properly and the door to the bedroom was broken. We almost got stuck in the bedroom one night because the latch didn’t move when you turned the handle so you could never close the door. The bathroom lock also did not work.
- Amanda (6/5): -
- Mary (5/5): Just mediocre, just not happy - The breakfast was a nice addition. The gentleman who took care of the breakfast was great The room was not what I expected. There was a window but it was disgusting and let no light in. It also was almost againt another building
- Rush (9/5): -
- Edward (8/5): -
- Kristina (10/5): Recommend 100% - Vintage style but modern “homey” feel Loved it
- Becky Knooihuizen (10/5): - Had jazz records and a record player in the room!
- KAREN (4/5): wouldn't stay there again - Decent breakfast. Great location in Warehouse District. There was no heat in my room and despite multiple asks (and they said they had contacted technician), it never came on. Cold night and I slept in my clothes. Also the phone in the room didn't work (completely dead) so I needed to walk downstairs each time to ask.
- Christie (9/5): It was great we will be staying there again - It's Beautiful and in the perfect spot with very nice staff! The bed was to hard and uncomfortable
- Yuki (7/5): Good place to stay - Staff are very nice. My room was confortable.
I like the coffee vendor machine at breakfast room. Some fruit for breakfast were damaged because of iron basket.
I found a piece of almond under a sofa, so I concerned about cleanness. I think it was just a bad luck.
- Latrice (9/5): The best of NOLA! - The room size was perfect for my party of 5, the bathroom was very roomy, the shower was hot (be careful) and good pressure! The staff was WONDERFUL I like them all. The breakfast was good for me, staff even brought me a banana when I asked for one. They told us where to park and not to get a ticket! I would definitely come back to this hotel. It was quite too, location great. Yeah book this if you are looking for an Airbnb but don't need that much space. The elevator smells really bad and that's okay because the pro outshines the cons! The beds were too soft but that's just my preference I can't find a firm bed in hotels!
- Tomofumi (9/5): -
- Travis (10/5): -
- Pruente (8/5): -
- Brandy (10/5): -
- Matthew (1/5): Staff is inconsiderate and will lie to relieve you until you leave. - First of all the stay was rocky from the start. TV in the room didn’t work and we were promised everyday that it maintenance would come in the next day and didn’t. We were told housekeeping wouldn’t come by which is perfectly ok but then randomly while we were out housekeeping came by and stole all of our food we had bought while on vacation ( over $200 of food) and rummaged through our luggage. We were promised a refund by the GM and now that we’re gone they are ignoring the situation and not returning calls.
- Christina (8/5): - Walking distance from the Riverwalk and Convention Center. This is my hometown and my first time staying there. Excellent location for Mardi Gras season!! Since this is a somewhat historic building, dents on the doors should be fixed or just replaced.
- Sheila (9/5): Always a nice stay here. - Breakfast and wonderful atmosphere. The bed was a little too hard.
- Pamela (8/5): Overall great stay and value with welcoming staff - Nice location: walk or grab an uber to the quarter; walk to streetcar stop or WWII museum. Spacious rooms with living areas. Shuffleboard table in area off lobby was a fun surprise. Record players in the room was also a nice touch. Breakfast was as expected. We booked for a great deal and very happy with the value. Staff was friendly and lobby and bar area was inviting and comfortable. Floors were dirty. (They had obviously vacuumed but not mopped/steam cleaned). The room was great otherwise but they are due to deep clean the floors! We valet parked and ended up getting our car ourselves the two times we needed it because valet had a long wait but a minor inconvenience considering it being the holidays and most everything else being great.
- Roger (1/5): SUCKED. Wish I had not booked especially through booking.com bc no phone number to call FOR HELP!!!! - Nothing at all. Deplorable conditions just for starters. First off,,, myself recovering from shoulder surgery and my girlfriend recovering from an outpatient surgery and not having decent side rolling carts to unload our luggage was just the start of an awful experience… Then the staff not very professional at desk or bellman as well This place was FILTHY Dirty from ALL 3 rooms we were moved into due to AC NOT WORKING….. Hot in rooms and musty bc no ac….. upon opening the doors.
Had to change rooms 3 times due to air conditioning issues. Upon the technician uncovering the ac and seeing the filthy filter as well as cabinet the AC was enclosed in with roach n bug feces etc etc we almost took our loss and left to find another hotel!!!!
We weren’t COMPED not one penny for the 2 hours wasted of our stay from moving room to room to room to room. It was ridiculous and actually we missed part of the ceremony that we were guest….
My direct phone number is 985-475-7232 and I hope to receive a call about this mess of a booking.
Lavatory faucet broken. Burnt lights and lamp not working.. We were moved from 441, 442, 443 then finally 440.
Valet fella upon our departing was more worried about high 5ing his buddies inside instead of helping us with luggage in POURING RAIN…. We, crippled up, loaded our own vehicle…. Never ever will book again unless some sort of compensation is awarded to my credit card. I booked at mercantile bc years ago had stayed and all was great. Not anymore.
- Cook (8/5): Budget friendly, good location, friendly staff. - Fun staff and good location. No complaints.
- Nguyen (7/5): Good for location but definitely not a nicer hotel. - Great location. Free breakfast ( very basic though). Some rooms have no sunlight bc faces a wall. Soda bed & blankets are thin.
- Kara (8/5): - Rooms are great Bar hours
- Barbara (5/5): -
- Takiva (10/5): - Friendly staff Clean comfy rooms
- Jennifer (1/5): My stay was bad and will not stay there again - Close to where I needed to be Slow, rude, not helpful at all
- Leesan (8/5): Great staff and location, a good place to stay! - The property was decorated beautifully and had a great vibe. The staff was wonderful and my room was nice and clean. My bed was as hard as a rock and my bedroom was freezing.
- Bryan (10/5): -
- Bradley Bates (9/5): Great location and quiet as it’s away from Canal Street. - Breakfast was great. Location central to conference center (2 blocks away), 4-5 blocks from Canal street which links you to the heart of DT NOLA. Wasn’t there for cruise but cruise terminal 2-3 blocks away. Bathtub drainage.
- Jackson (10/5): Excellent. - Location
