Guest Reviews
- Sara (10/5): -
- Charlotte (10/5): Lovely and relaxing - Really easy to get to from Limehouse station. Lovely apartment: nice furnishings, comfy bed and sofa bed, nice bedcovers. Kitchen well equipped. Tesco across the road shuts at 11pm. I would definitely go again. You have to pay £300 deposit, which I totally accept, you just have to make sure you budget for it within your holiday plan. Nothing really; you can hear the trains going past but it did not disturb us as that is the pay off for being handy for the station. The pizza place across the street looks good but they shut at 10:30 so we couldn't get one after we had been out: this is not really a complaint.

- Nicola (6/5): Great location. Appalling check-in and check out - The location was convenient. It was very clean and there were a lot of good facilities. Check in and out. This was appalling. They need to sort it out.
I had asked for early check in as I was going to an event. I knew this wasn’t guaranteed and I was fine with that. However I made it clear I had somewhere to be do so needed to check in at 1600. I arrive at the location of the key at 1555, there was no key, they rang me and said the cleaning staff needed an extra 15-20 mins. I stated that was not acceptable and even if they were not finished I needed to get in. They said they would call back after speaking to management. They never.
I called back at 1610 and they said someone would call. I rang back at 1615 and they told me to go to the apartment and the housekeeping staff would let me in. I rang the buzzer and stood outside. No one came down. I called back at 1620 and they said someone was coming. At 1625 someone came down. Gave me a yellow key fob and told me to leave it in the mailbox on check out. I got in. I then received 4 phone calls from different people telling me to take the key fob back to the shop to check out. I clarified 4 times that the housekeeping had said to leave in the mailbox and was told 4 times to take to the shop. Next morning I left. Went to shop and they wouldn’t accept it. I rang again and they said to take it back to the apartment and leave in the mailbox. I walked the 5 minutes back to the apartment and the mailbox was broken so I had to leave the key in an open mailbox. The whole experience was stressful and appalling. I was offered nothing for all the inconvenience. I will not stay here again
- Ek (8/5): ease the check in a bit. we arrived half an hour earlier but were not able to check in - The location was near the "DLR" railway station and Bus stop It was quite loud. trains passed by nearly every 3 minutes. we could see the train platform from the Balcony.
- Kayleigh (10/5): Exceptional - Noise of the train
- Olivia (7/5): Pleasant stay. - It was a lovely property! Perfect stay for the weekend. Sadly there was ants around the floor boards in the kitchen and going up the cupboard next to the sink, we’d also find them on the kitchen side and by the fridge.

- Sah (8/5): Good location, good value for w - Good value for money Location
- Dimitris (5/5): Passable -
- Ieva (9/5): A good sized apartment in great location, amazing view - I booked a last minute stay, had to fulfill authentication and pay deposit but the responsiveness to calls and messages assured me that everything will be fine after having had a stressful day. Indeed the property let us rest and treated with an amazing view to Canary Wharf in the morning. We slept deeply and comfortably. Good sized apartment in a great location just at the tube stations and a shop. You can watch the DLR trains go past in a beautiful sunrise. There was a stress because I didn’t know where to leave the keys if the drop off place is shut since i checked out before 7am, however I figured out where to leave it and informed hosts. Of course I was afraid of not getting deposit back. A bit stressful but the hosts turned out to be understanding and figured it out, deposit was returned, and communication was kind and mutually understanding. Instructions for an early check out would be great, or perhaps I didn’t notice them, other than that all good.
- Mark (9/5): Superb - great location and comfortable
- Ralfs (10/5): Exceptional -
- Péter (10/5): Exceptional - The apartmemt is spaceous, has a nice view on harbor and located 2 min from DLR station. Its a good choice for a lomg weekend stay in London. Unusual check in process, but not too complicated
- Ds (8/5): Very good - Spacious, good value for money. Next to railway (but I knew when booking & cost was a good deal).
- Troy (9/5): Great place - Nice location. extremely well kept. Close to the river with a good view of the city.
the customer service team was very helpful as well. neighbours can be a bit loud but to be expected in hot weather.
- Gurung (10/5): Exceptional -
- Munkhjargal (9/5): Comfortable, warm and clean property with good location. - No breakfast. Location is good The hand liquid soap was used up quickly because it contained a small amount of liquid.
- Peter (9/5): Location is a winner!!!!! - Fabulous location. Super close to DLR and supermarket. Comfortable bed. Good wifi. Lots of coffee pods!!!
Hair dryer and coffee machine had been added since some earlier reviews, and also some kitchen utensils.
The shower had good pressure.
The owner was super helpful with any issues - including late night messages to help us start the washing machine ( you need to hold the door closed to start it), and where to find extra towels. There wasn’t much we didn’t like but some suggestions would be
- get a few more glasses in
- there were no tea towels - we used the handee towels

- Alexis (9/5): Superb - Really good value and easy access to everything via the DLR station around the corner
- James (10/5): 2 weeks stay and we liked it - We stayed here for 2 weeks and I like how close it is to DLR Limehouse. So very accessible to Canary Wharf where I work and in Bank where I also work sometimes. Can hear the noise from the train but it is not bothering us. A sensitive old person would. UberEats can still track it if they are on bicycle. It feels dodgy area but is actually safe. They have very responsive staff. Great appreciation to Waleed for always helping us out and accomodating our requests. Overall, we loved our stay. It could do a bit more deep cleaning and actually removing the items possibly left by previous tenants such as opened cereal boxes, opened ice tube bags in the fridge, etc.
- Sam (8/5): Fine, would stay again. - Clean, cheap and cheerful, good value, did the job needed, spacious, nice balcony and view. No parking though I appreciate there's not a lot that can be done about that.
- J (9/5): Superb -
- Jacqui (8/5): Good value stay in nice apartment near Limehouse and canary wharf - Great location close to Limehouse basin, canary wharf. Apartment was nice and warm and good facilities. Great to have the double bed and sofa bed too. Good value stay would come back. Could do with some more careful cleaning along the skirting and the shower tiles.
- Cecilia (7/5): Flat nice, local transport great, check in not great - It was nice, beautiful view, easy to access the train from the flat. I got really confused with the automatic messages. I sent my ID and payed the deposit. I got asked for these many times. I checked that they had got it, all ok was the answer every time.
I filled in my arrivaltime, got a message saying when I will arrive and the code to the door. But nothing else.
I noticed I still need more information so I had to call and AGAIN was asked if I had sent my ID and payed deposit.
Not nice standing with two children and waiting for instructions they promised to send ahead
- Tammy (7/5): Good -
- Raquel (9/5): Superb - Good location and prize. Very cozy with nice views. although it was well equipped there were no cooking utensils (spatula, etc).
- Finneguela (9/5): Really enjoyable - Be helpful to have instructions in the flat. Do the digital door lock locks automatically and how to work the cooker. And it would be helpful to have some oven utensils for baking food
- Atreyee (10/5): Great experience. - The apartment was well stocked with necessary items and was very clean. Nothing that I can remember. Mostly, it was a great experience.
- Klee (10/5): Exceptional views - The views to the city are incredible. The appartment is well equiped and clean.
- Sharon (10/5): Exceptional - Everything Nothing
- Po (6/5): Although I didn't meet anyone, but I can get fast response from the Booking.com app. - The location is good, just next to the tub (but very noisy if you don't close the window.) have a Tesco Express near by. Because the property is just next to the tub, it will be very noisy if you keep the window open. However we have open the window because of the hot weather.
- Charlie (7/5): Good -
- So (1/5): Bad -
- Jazmin (10/5): Great - Views 😍 It was perfect , only thing was trains
- Dovile (8/5): It was comfortable to use property - It was nicely prepared for our stay Had ants in kitchen and a lot mould in bathroom
- Anhar (10/5): Everything was perfect just couldn’t check in on time it was 2 hours delay -
- Di (9/5): Very nice everything was perfect - Once you found the store very easy Nothing bad to say
- Xiaohua (7/5): Good - The flat is quite spacious. The location is nice, but so close to a metro line. Very noisy.
- Glen (4/5): Disappointing -
- Ridoy (8/5): Very good -
- Daniel (6/5): Spacious appartment in great (but noisy) location, condition/hygiene leave much to be desired. - The location is great when it comes to access to public transport read the downsides below) - 20 something minutes to the city and <20 to ExCel.
The apartment is very spacious, it's by far the biggest accommodation I've had in London and actually too big for my 3 day individual stay for a conference - I barely used the living / kitchen area. The kitchen includes a stove, a fridge, a microwave etc.. I also liked that there was a balcony with a nice view.
The person on the phone that helped me with retrieving the key was very patient and friendly.
The apartment would be really good value for money if not for my main critical point below. One should be aware that the DLR tracks are a few meters from the windows, so you can really hear the trains passing every minute. I feel this is reflected in the price, so I would be happy to accept that as a concession for paying less than elsewhere.
What causes me to subtract a few points from my review is the condition / hygiene, especially the bathroom. The toilet seat was broken in two pieces, the toilet wasn't clean and the tiles came off the bathtub. There were multiple dead plants and a rusty BBQ on the balcony. I feel like it really wouldn't be a lot of effort to fix those things, but they really subtract from feeling comfortable (at least for me). Fixing those aren't expensive either, so I won't let the reasonable price be an excuse for this. If those were fixed, I would give this appartment a 8-9.
