Guest Reviews
- JANENE (9/5): Overnight stay to visit Loughborough University for the Art Dregree show - Big comfortable bed. Clean room. Friendly helpful staff. Plenty of choice for breakfast. Quiet area. Duvet was too warm for us. We should have taken the duvet out of the cover and just used the cover.
Would like decaff tea in room.
- madeleen (5/5): Ok - Good quiet location , good size hotel room ,comfortable bed, airconditioning for hot or cold air. Good parking, Friendly staff , excellent Selection of breakfast buffet Very old carpet in the rooms and hallways.
Dated bathroom.
There was a strange annoying electric noise ?(,maybe from the airconditioner even though it was switched off) ,that came on and off every 60 seconds during the whole night. It stopped in the morning . The bathroom could do with a towel hanger for the smaller towels near the sink.
- Douglas (8/5): had a good 2 night stay overall - all was good apart from restaurant being closed one day due to chef illness, luckily pub next door
- Hughes (10/5): - Breakfast excellent plenty to choose from

- Steven (8/5): - The staff were very polite and efficient. The hotel location was perfect for a nearby function we were attending at a nearby golf course. One of the small towels in the bathroom was stained - we would have thought that this was checked before it was left in our room. As we were staying for only one night, we didn't ask for it to be changed.

I have a disability and would have liked a walk in shower rather than over bath. However on speaking with staff there are some available. Next time will request.

- ISABEL (8/5): Great hotel, lovely breakfast - Really large room and bathroom , exceptionally clean . Breakfast was lovely Room smelt of drains !
- Avril (8/5): Hotel was fine. I possibly would go back , BUT I would insist on a ground floor room and not arrive - Location perfect for where I wanted to be. Having to wait for AGES for my room !!!!!
I asked in advance if arriving earlier would be a problem but didn't get a reply.
I did arrive at 2.10 but was told room wasn't ready, ok I can accept that. Had a coffee in the foyer and waited and waited.....
3 other couples did the same. However 3.05 they were called and given there keys. I went up and asked again and was told by a very smarmy gentleman that I had asked to arrive between 2am and 3am !! I don't think so.
Sat back down and waited again!!
3.30 I was called and given my key. I had asked earlier if there was another room ready i could have gone into instead of waiting. The answer was no.
Given the key and told to walk to the end of the corridor and up a few stairs. I asked is there a lift? I have COPD and was carrying a bag I am also 75.
No it's just a few stairs. There was 15 !!!!!!
I am not best pleased with that at all.
