Guest Reviews
- Anastasiia (8/5): - - Отличное расположение (достаточно близко к пирамидам, но все-равно придется брать такси);
- Хороший завтрак, разнообразный;
- Завтрак с видом на пирамиды;
- В честь Дня Рождения нам сделали апгрейд номера! Мы были в восторге! - Будьте готовы к громкой молитве в 4 утра (отель расположен напротив мечети);
- За 3 ночи в отеле, наш номер убрали 0 раз;
- Yulia (6/5): - This not was our hotel , day change our hotel ,because they don’t have place for us . We want to stay there ,but they send us in hotel in Giza. We are not happy from this. The location! This hotel is in Cairo , our was in Giza . This was scam from hotel side . I don’t like it !
- O (8/5): My favourite hotel in the area - The room is very clean and stylish. Bath was also clean which is super important for the suite with the pyramids view. The rooftop restaurant view is fab. Stuff is super friendly. I’d definitely stay here again. The room is a bit smaller than I expected but still great. Breakfast was okay but didn’t really impress me.
- Henrieke (10/5): Voor herhaling vatbaar!

- Noor (10/5): - We had an amazing stay at Almas Pyramids Hotel in Cairo. The staff were incredibly kind, welcoming, and helpful. Everyone truly went out of their way to make our stay special.
They arranged a fantastic tour for us to the Pyramids of Giza and the Great Sphinx of Giza, which was perfectly organized and unforgettable. The view from the hotel is absolutely stunning, and the location is ideal. Very close to the pyramids and also near the newly opened Grand Egyptian Museum.
Breakfast was well taken care of, with a good variety, and later in the day you can also enjoy some nice food on the rooftop terrace, which makes the experience even better.
Overall, it was a great experience from start to finish. Highly recommended!

- GALAN GALVEZ (7/5): Okay stay few things to work on - The place is well located and has a partial obstructed pyramid view. It is beautiful from the roof. They really tried to accommodate us and seem to care about their guests The dinner menu was really not good (appreciate they tried to accommodate us at 9pm). Breakfast service was also super slow. Rooms need double glazing windows as the noise from the outside can be quite bad (it is in front of a busy road and mosque)
Overall it can be a good option if they invest in some upgrades otherwise I’d say for that same budget you can get better options in Cairo
- Micaela belen (10/5): Excelente - Las vistas a las pirámides
- Arman (10/5): Amazing view and room - Very nice room and the rooftop is absolutly amazing, for breakfast and for sunset.
- Koller (10/5): - All of the tours

- Karim (10/5): Impressed, incredible value for money - Clean room with direct view of pyramid unbeatable
Staff kind, honest, available, impressive.
Very good value for money!!!
- Johan (8/5): Would totally recommend it for the View of the pyramids! - View from the rooftop terrace is amazing! Maybe some better/more information about the hotel room and if you have a window or not with view.
- Sarfaraz (7/5): SO SO - STAFF FACILITY IN GENERAL
- Martin (1/5): Cairo is not for beginners and definitely not for family trips. - Horrible experience in this hotel. I had to sleep on an extra bed as we were with the kids, and they, together with my wife, slept on the main bed - the extra bed was extremely uncomfortable and was falling apart, so I slept on it in a straight position but slightly leaning to the right. Rooms were smaller than described and EXTREMELY noisy - people shouting, cars honking all night, and I'm not exaggerating. When you are in the room, you can't tell if the windows are open or closed, as there is no difference when you open or close them - there is zero isolation. There was a bathtub in the room, but even the bathtub was a scam as the boiler in the room is 30L and you can't fill it even halfway. The food in the hotel was awful. Waiters are smiling, and everyone is charming; however, I felt like all of them were trying to scam you. The price of the hotel's food, the excursions, and everything related to money there is exceptionally high compared to normal restaurants in the Mall of Egypt, or if you self-organize a tour. If you are a couple coming on a trip to see the pyramids and staying just for 1-2 nights, maybe it will be ok for you; however, visiting with kids there was quite bad. You can't go out of the hotel for a walk and the only way is to use either Careem or Uber - do not go into random taxis and wherever you are, before buying anything, ask for the price. On top of that, my son got food poisoning on the last day - thankfully, there is a pharmacy right next door.
Of course not everything was horrible - we had two trips, organized from the hotel which were quite good, but what made them good were the people who were responsible for the tours - they were licensesd tour guides which made sure we had a good time, negotiated with locals for us, made sure that no one is bothering us, showed us even more places that were in the initial offer. The next 3 days, however, were quite a mental challenge where we self-organized everything.
- Alexander (10/5): My 4th visit, Amazing stay as always at this hotel - Amazing stay as always at this hotel
- Sofiia (10/5): Exceptional -
- Rohaan (8/5): Very good -
- Lauren (10/5): Amazing hospitality with diamond views - Everything. The property was beautiful and so clean. It had a gorgeous view but above everything else the people there made our trip. They are wonderful and I would stay there a million times over. I liked everything!
- Meiyao (10/5): Exceptional - Wonderful, everything is perfect. Poor signal
- Tristan (7/5): Good - Plus: Lift, restaurant, friendly and English speaking staff Negative: Rooms are less beautiful and big than advertised
- Rogel (9/5): Superb - the view of the Pyramid
- David (9/5): Great stay at Almas Pyramids (March 2025) - Had a superb stay at the Almas Pyramids. The single room, although it was small and didn't have a window, was clean and modern. Paid for all-inclusive, which meant I had meals and soft drinks included, well worth doing and saved the hassle of walking outside the hotel on the dangerous and busy road to get a meal and beverages after busy days sightseeing. The hotel has its own trips programme with private drivers/tour guides which as a solo traveller I found really helpful. The full day trip which I did through the hotel that did the giza pyramid complex and the city of Cairo in the afternoon was really well organised and informative - the tour guide was fantastic!! I also felt safer doing this organised trip as it sheltered me somewhat from the hassling at the pyramid compex. I also booked the Nile River dinner through the hotel, which was an enjoyable evening. The breakfast at the hotel was well prepared and tasty and had 2 other meals at the hotel, the highlight being a beef tagine on the Saturday night. The USP of the hotel though is the view from the rooftop terrace of the 3 main Pyramids - outstanding! Overall, a superb stay and if I come to Cairo/Giza again, I will almost certainly return.
- Mohammadeen (10/5): Excellent Thanks 🙏 -
- Camila (10/5): Exceptional - I loved the place, the staff was very friendly, I felt at home thanks to the guys at the hotel and thanks to Lara for all the help, I was very happy with this place 🫶💖
- Lajos (7/5): Nice staff, good choice for a reasonable price - All the staff members were very kind and ready to serve. Nice people! The food selection was limited but the food itself is good. More facilities would be good.
- Aristeidis (9/5): Superb - Location is awesome,
Helpful staff
Comfortable bed Noisy road but it's common in Cairo/Giza
Breakfast was good , but more options required.
- Alessandro (9/5): Superb -
- Zoltán (9/5): Nice accomodation with true Egyptian hospitality, within walking distance from small shops. - Perfect choice for a first visit to Egypt, especially in case you would like to visit the Pyramids. I did not go much closer but the sight is still breathtaking from the balcony where breakfast was served. The girls made some truly amazing falafel, the Egyptian version of course which is unavailable in Hungary. Everyone from the staff was friendly and helpful, even before any bakshees changed hands. I missed a window from the room, but it would have made the much needed insulation from the sound of the street inefficient. Traffic was still somewhat audible but I personally did not mind it at that mild level.
- Joy (8/5): If I visit Egypt, I would love to stay in the hotel, and thank you for all your support and - The environment was clean. The bedroom was a great size, and the staff was helpful. The hospitality was spot-on. The location was excellent—it was just three minutes from the train station and close to all the activities I was doing." The environment was clean. The bedroom was a great size, and the staff was helpful. The hospitality was spot-on. The location was excellent—it was just three minutes from the train station and close to all the activities I was doing."
- Max (6/5): Lovely staff, great roof top view, very noisy. - The staff were very kind and I enjoyed the breakfast and the view. The lack of any sound proofing next to a very busy four lane Egyptian road. It’s incredibly noisy until around 11.30pm when it died off a little. It’s also opposite a mosque which is also very loud at 5.30am. Also the bath in the room is pointless as there isn’t enough hot water fill more than a few inches. Some might not be bothered by all this but for me it rather spoilt our stay.
- Laura (9/5): Great hotel for the price. - The rooftop area with a view of the pyramids really made it a great place to stay. The restaurant served tasty food, too. The lift to all floors made access easy. The hotel can arrange any trips you need and a great choice. I was a solo traveller and felt safe there. I would definitely stay again.
- Cameron (10/5): Exceptional -
- Ittaher (7/5): It was a good time - Breakfast is very simple, People are friendly, the hotel is quite and clean, it was a good experience and it was a nice stay. The food needs to upgraded to a better value and variety.
- Rianna (7/5): Pleasant, bare minimum stay - The property was relatively close to the pyramids and the staff in the hotel were very nice. The suite was spacious with good air conditioning/heating when needed. The breakfast was quite nice with a variety of options. The pyramids view from the rooftop was great. The wifi was not usable and the floors in the room were very dirty. They didn’t clean our room or replace our towels at all in the 3 nights we stayed and we ended up using cloth to walk on out of the bathroom so our feet weren’t getting dirty. We also had to request toilet paper multiple times as they did not provide spares. The power cuts out late at night, every night. The mosque across the road is EXTREMELY loud (no exaggeration). We are young and can sleep through noise but it did bother us a little bit. The water pressure was low and the hot water system needed time to reheat after each shower. The bath was useless as there is not enough hot water to fill it - we tried boiling the kettle to heat it up but it is not efficient.
- Rosalind (10/5): Hope to return in the near future! - Everything was clean. Newer construction. Room was clean. Bedsheets were high thread count and sleeping on them, grand! Front door and walkway was swept clean and free of random traffic, so that Uber drivers can see waiting passengers. Good view of pyramids and whole plateau on the rooftop! No complaints.
- Emilia (5/5): Friendly but noisy - Clean, friendly staff, amazing views Horrendously noisy, needs to get reinforced glass
- Elena (8/5): Very good - Cosy and cleaned room. Very nice location. The wifi sometimes did not work properly.
- Jamie-lee (10/5): Exceptional -
- Mark (3/5): Poor - Staff were friendly and tried to be as helpful as possible. Very nice people. So noisy that of the four of us, one slept, two slept 1-2 hours; one not at all. Dog barking; cars and motorbikes honking; staff clattering in the elevator. Madness.
- Banik (10/5): For a great view and a price, this is your place to stay - Ahmed was a great host. He arranged an airport pickup for us as well. We arrived long before the actual check in time but they helped us with an early check in and provided us breakfast. The staff was really helpful and accommodated all our needs. The view from the rooftop is beautiful. You can see the 3 famous pyramids from there as well giving great photography chances. The place is located in Giza so it is not a very residential place. The whole area consists mainly of hotels and other commercial buildings. Wifi was not consistent.
- Pranav (10/5): Exceptional -
- Sasanda (7/5): Good - Basic, but clean and tasty. it was served in the rooftop, with a partial view of the pyramid.
- Vera (4/5): Don’t stay here. There are better options for the same price. - The noise from the street is too much. The balcony is 1m x 80cm so totally useless. There is no chair to sit on, instead they put a totally useless bathtub in the room. There is only one bedside table. The reception is not at all welcoming, it’s dark and gloomy. Expected to get waterbottles in the room every day as this is a hot environment. But only upon arrival you get water. For other days you have to pay for it. Breakfast is ok, although you don’t get what you order. There are plenty of hotels in this area. Choose another one for a more comfortable and happy stay.
- Claire (7/5): Good - Proximity to the pyramids was great. Rooftop area was lovely. Breakfast and dinner were OK, Egyptian food The noise - there is zero soundproofing and you are literally on top of a busy road, take ear plugs! My room was very small, very little floor space
- Muhammad (8/5): Easy to travel to the pyramids - Nice stay. V close to the pyramids hence the choice. Staff very nice and helpful esp the girls at the kitchen and the staff at reception. Economical but on a very busy road. Traffic all night. Very noisy.
WiFi a bit hit and miss.
- Rey (9/5): Superb -
- Bux (9/5): Superb - Location was good staff was friendly
- Doris (9/5): Incredible performance from staff and the Ahmed provided a stellar performance that made our stay an unforgettable exper - Service delivered was of platinum standard. Stellar service from all staff, especially from Ahmed and Farraq. We spoke, they listened and made required changes immediately. Food was great and tailored to our needs upon request. We were treated like family and we enjoyed every second of our stay. Noise.it was a bit noisy due to the proximity to the road.

- Louai.almasri (9/5): Superb -
- Benjamin (3/5): Poor -
- Thiago (1/5): don't be fooled - Staff is nice. Wifi doesn't work at all.
I had to change my room because of the noise... the other one was equally noisy.
The neighborhood where the hotel is located is terrible.
And all the tours the hotel offers are overpriced.
- Reem (1/5): Bad -
- Svetlana (3/5): Really noisy, you wouldn’t be able to sleep. - View from roof top. Pyramids view never gets old. We booked executive suit with bath with pyramid view. Room has a boiler 50 L and you will never be able to have bath with pyramid view and view is only from the bath)). Max hot water will be enough to cover your feet. They know it but sell you something that is not existing anyway. Everything is half baked: key lock doesn’t work properly (we stayed in 2 different rooms), refresh of toilet paper you need to pick up from reception, safe box size is enough for passport only, ipad or something like that do not fit in, safe box is not attached to anything so anyone who enters you room can basically walk away with it, only 2 hangers for clothes, no wardrobe to put it in and a lot of details which makes your stay tiring. It is next to a really noisy road which is active 24/7 so you here non stop cars and they have culture of horning every second as it is like traffic regulations, and you hear it all night so forget about solid sleep. As well, there is a mosque just next to hotel so be ready to wake up at 5 am cause they start calling prayers and it is as well very loud.
Apart of that we had situation that our reservation was messed up and we didn’t have an executive room which we booked for a first night and we stayed 1 night at double room which is very small by the way. But next day we changed to the room type we booked. And after 2 days of conversation they apologized and made discount for a first night. Cause in the beginning even though it was their fault they didn’t even say sorry as for them it is ok to move is from one room to another. To change a hotel was too late and all our private tours were booked from that spot so we decided to stay cause for us it was just easier for 3 nights. But be aware that this is more guesthouse/hostel rather than hotel. But price is like a small EU hotel, not worth. I do not know why other reviews do not say about that at all.
- Xiaoyu (10/5): I enjoyed it very much - Very clean. Felt very safe. People there are very kind and helpful. High recommend Nothing
- Florian (9/5): Superb -
- Dasan (4/5): Not worth it! - - -
- Kirti (10/5): good property - good location. great roof top. on the side of road so a bit noisy.
- Stefania (10/5): Exceptional - The room was very well cleaned, the view on the rooftop was incredible. All the people are very nice
- Tin (7/5): Good -
- Imran (8/5): It’s a splendid experience. Cheers. - It’s near to Giza and pleasant view. Great hospitality. Internet connection a bit slow. No shower spray for toilets. But no complain just suggestions. Really Happy to stay!
- Ridwan (8/5): Very good -
- Guy (9/5): Superb -
- Wissa (10/5): Exceptional -
- Agrisye (8/5): Very good - Food was good, especially with ladies that work the breakfast shift.
The view and atmosphere from terrace was great.
Very welcoming staff. It's loud 24/7 because of traffic near house.
Says all inclusive, but it was only 3 meals and 3 drinks per day.
- Shanthy (6/5): Disappointed with room but very friendly staff - Plus point is the amazing view to the pyramids. It made up for other issues. Staff were very nice given we had an issue with the room. I booked a suite room and paid for it. The room lists as suite with one bedroom and living room with bed and sofa bed. However there is no suite. It was one room with one bed. Extremely disappointing given I paid for it. They gave us sofa from the restaurant to make up. However did not refund. For rest of the stay they did made up by helping with every thing else. So have to give credit for it.
I would caution anyone booking suite. There is none or we did not get one.
- Rebecca (10/5): Good for a one night stay - Hotel is located just 10 min drive to the pyramids of Giza, staff was friendly. It was clean and good value for money. Good water pressure and warm water Must travel to and from by taxi as toad is very busy and dangerous to walk.
- Rayhana (10/5): Amazing staff - Staff was amazing, patient and accommodating. Breakfast was perfect, love the sweet older cook and cleaner, wish we got her name. Staff tried to make the experience amazing. Supported us with any room problem we had. As others said the toilet did leak and the road was noisy but we didn’t mind this. The leak in the toilet and shower pressure
- Patrycja (8/5): Very good - Very nice place! Rooms were clean, comfortable and well equipped. Amazing rooftop view with good selection of food and drinks. It’s not customary that a room doesn’t have a window of any kind - if you look closely at the pictures you may assume that, but it would be nice to write this information in the description.
- Fouad (7/5): They tried to be a professional hotel but they are a lot of extra measures they need to follow. - The staff lady who is cleaning the rooms, washing and ironing the laundry is the same lady who is cooking the breakfast in the hotel’s restaurant. I felt so bad to see only one lady doing all the hotel services.
- Ibrahim (9/5): Thanks for staff - Nice place , Staff and breakfast Small room
- Robert (10/5): Friendly staff, clean hotel, good food! What else needs to be said! - From the moment I arrived to the day I left the staff were amazing! Friendly and nothing was too much. The room was clean, breakfast was more than I could eat and delicious, drinks and dinner very reasonably priced. The view of the pyramids from my room and the terrace was breathtaking. As far as I’m concerned there is only one place to stay in Cairo and it is the Alma’s Pyramid Hotel!
- Alan (9/5): Superb - Sunsets on the roof .. what a view!
