- Sze Lai (9/5): Very nice hotel - My arrival date was my hubby’s birthday and I paid the hotel to make a birthday cake for him as a surprise after dinner. When 3 staffs sent a cake to us, they switched off the light suddenly and brought a cake with others party stuffs like a whiteboard written happy birthday, a small gift, a sphere lighting with birthday word and a hat along with birthday song. I really appreciated. I got a message that the shuttle bus service was from 3 to 6pm. As I can’t make phone call to check with them, I walked to the hotel after 6pm. When I arrived, they said that they still provide shuttle bus service after 6pm.

- Guido (10/5): Onsen stupendo per famiglie e non - Accoglienza calorosa, personale sempre sorridente e gentile. L'hotel è un onsen a misura di famiglia con bambini, ma adattissimo a chiunque. Stanze in stile giapponese, con tutti i confort e una zona "giorno" con vista sulla valle. L'hotel ha bagno maschile e femminile sia interni (normali) sia esterni (bellissimi), più una piscina coperta perfetta per i bambini. Zone comuni con area bimbi dotata di biblioteca, stanza per scelta della Yukata a disposizione per tutti, piccola sala giochi e area esterna. Dista 10/15 minuti dalla stazione dei treni con una lunga salita ma ti vengono a prendere e ti portano dove vuoi, basta chiamare Purtroppo non abbiamo potuto provare la cucina. Niente, tutto perfetto.

- かん (8/5): 全体には、また訪れると思います。 - ファミリースィートSORAに泊まりました。部屋に子供用にボルタリングがあって、子供たちは大喜び。とても楽しくすごすことができました。お食事も美しく出していただいて、丁度良い量でした。ノンアルを注文した人がいて、スタッフさんが間違って有馬ビールをもってきましたが、のんでみたくなり、このままでいいですよ、と何度言っても交換されたので、これは残念。むしろ飲んでみたかったです。（これは、まじめなスタッフさんということで・・〉 部屋のお風呂が大人には最高にいいのですが、男の子なので、風呂から下に落ちたら大変と、おじいさんが心配して、子供だけではお風呂に入らせられなかった。また、もう一つの青いタイルの風呂は、滑って転びそうで、また端が角ばっていて、転んだら大変と入らせなかった。（もちろん、大人と入り、いい温泉でした。） しかし、１階の内風呂・金泉は、足の悪いひとには手すりもなく、入れない。若い人向きの温泉なのかもしれませんが、金泉の周りの石もごつごつして痛すぎて、普通、クレームがつかないのが不思議だと思いました。

Even If you can't speak a Word Japanese there won't be any language barriers. A big plus is the all night opened onsen and the dinner in your own room. The breakfast is typical Japanese, which is mostly a good thing. It honestly can be a bit challenging for a Westerner.

- Lee (10/5): Best onsen for family. - This onsen is truly amazing and beautiful, especially the family room with private onsen and mountain view. Excellent service. Kind staff. Great kaiseki meals. Highly recommended with kids. I only stayed 1 night, and wish I could have stay another night. Not a touristy, mainly locals-very authentic. Very relaxing. -There is a bus from kansai airport to arima onsen (you need to ask airport customer service desk to help reserve), and from arima onsen, you can take a shuttle to hotel. Does not allow early check in.
- Paul (8/5): Tradiotional ryokan onsen stay experience - Great to have the full onsen ryokan experience, with very attentive staff and good facilities (esp the play area for kids). Tatami rooms were a little musty smelling. We also feel you need to spend 2 nights at least here to take advantage of the town and facilities, one night didn’t allow for much movement between 3pm checkin and 9.30am checkout. We felt staff were being quite rigid on timing of everything from dinner to breakfast etc.

Room was beautiful, traditional Japanese style and everything was exceptionally clean, the onsens too. You could hear the other guests very good in your room, especially screaming and running children. Hotel was hard to reach by foot and the shuttle bus went only until 18h30. Could have had a corner to relax in the room

The tatami mats were comfortable, food was delicious and staff was - The staff was exceptional and although the onsen was older , it was kept in great condition. Cleaner than some newer hotels we’ve stayed at. Loved that the onsen was open all night long Wish the property were closer to town but loved it’s remove location and view of the mountains

- Emma (10/5): Couple with baby made to feel welcome - We stayed at Motoyu Ryuusenkaku as a couple with our 9-month old baby and were made to feel so welcome and comfortable. We stayed 3 nights, and that felt like the perfect amount. The staff were a joy, the facilities were excellent for a family. We loved the onsens and my partner and I took turns having a relaxing soak after the baby was asleep. The breakfast was excellent. Our baby breakfast was great, even though he played with and dropped most of it on his lap and the floor. The giftshop in the lobby is also excellent and has the best items from all the shops in town. This hotel was a highlight of our trip!
- Na (7/5): Good enough - The location was very family friendly with play rooms for little children. The rooms with a bathroom were comfortable and well maintained. The employees were very kind and patient with children. For the price we expected more or better. The food was ok, the space was ok, the size of the mineral bath was ok. For the price, we were hoping for something better than OK, but it was good enough.
