Guest Reviews

- Gurvinder (7/5): - The property was a bit tired and could do with some maintenance. Also a deep clean is needed, there were many cobwebs, the fridge and showers were not clean.
- Mike (9/5): An oasis of peace and tranquility in a brilliant location - It’s private, quiet, clean with great facilities and a comfy bed The wine cooler fridge was a bit noisy but I fixed that
- Mike (8/5): Luxury lodge living in the heart of the countryside at a very reasonable price and very private. - It was much better than I imagined and very modern, large and comfortable with everything you would need if you moved in permanently? It was private, quiet and the location was excellent too. Our only disappointment was that the lovely huge bath couldn’t be used because the waste pipe and plug wasn’t sealed so all the water just drained away. The shower was a very good alternative though so it wasn’t a disaster.
- Mark (4/5): Great area shame about the accommodation. - Stayed here 7 years ago and wow what a difference now.
Location is great very quiet and peaceful, parking at the lodges good, easy access to places near by. Unhelpful staff to be told it’s not there responsibility when we wasn’t happy with one of the lodges not acceptable.
All 3 lodges were filthy dirty and a serious lack of maintenance.
Both showers were really hard to use due to controls hardly moving, shower seal on the bath screen didn’t fit so water everywhere.
Main shower tiles and grout falling off at the bottom,
Dirt all up the radiator look like dry blood or even worse.
Radiator caps missing everywhere, lampshades extractor fans filthy dirty.
On top of the fridge never been cleaned.
Boiler not working properly as when running hot water the radiators got hot obviously not been checked.
Plinth behind the kitchen sink falling off and full of mould behind.
Both toilet roll holders falling off the wall.
I could keep going.
They seem quite happy to take your money but no reinvestment into the lodges or maintenance.
All 3 lodges we booked had issues .
- Gumbrell (9/5): - Very quiet and relaxing All good
- Paula (10/5): We had a relaxing stay in a beautiful setting. - The lodge was lovely and spacious in a beautiful setting. Everything you need is included. Power shower was brilliant. We had a wonderful few days away. Would definitely recommend staying here.
- Deborah (8/5): - Location lovely very peaceful
The lodge is well thought out and the beds are very clean and comfortable
We look forward to our next stay.

- Grandadclive (9/5): Nicely Surprised 🌞😊 - The lodge was clean and very comfy a lot of thought has been put in to this small park we loved it. It is the perfect location to explore the coast and Canterbury.
Very quiet 🤫
Oh the local pub is shut 😔 Kitchen sink tap needs bolting down and the bath will not empty very fast..... Normal holiday home grips 😁 dont let me put you off.
Management take note, it would be a shame to let small things ruin a good park.

- Kenneth (10/5): - Nice and peaceful, perfect for winding down Nothing
- Razor1081 (9/5): - The quality of the lodges was very good and very spacious. There should be activities for kids like swimming, play area etc
- Tom (9/5): A very pleasant, easy and peaceful stay. - Great location, peaceful and clean. Friendly staff. Upgrade TV to incorporate streaming options. WiFI connection is a bit cantankerous - pop up sign in box doesn't always appear.

- Aditi (8/5): Great location but keep to small group sizes and prefer winters. - the location and the cottages are very well maintained . The living space and the balcony was super as well. One of the rooms was good, the others were smaller in size. the 2nd room was quite small, felt a little stuffy and tight. There were no fans even when it was a hot summer afternoon
- N and S (9/5): Great location. - Quiet, comfortable, and clean lodge. Good location for accessing Canterbury and the coast. Plenty of space. Pretty good value for money. Beware, the hot water is rather scalding!

- Peter (9/5): Superb -
- Joy (9/5): Enjoyed our stay despite some wet and windy weather - Self catering Patio doors difficult to operate as reported
- Alan (10/5): Exceptional -
- Roshrian (10/5): Exceptional - So quiet and nice beautiful place to stay loved it Everything was perfect
- Ebrahim (10/5): Exceptional - I liked how clean and organised the lodges were and the location added to feel of being immersed in nature😁 The early check out time and the lack of double beds in other rooms.
- Phillip (8/5): Very happy overall. - Park setting is lovely. Very quiet and tranquil. Nice walks. TV is free view only which feels a bit like living in the 70s. The Lodge was well equipped overall with everything we needed but fixtures and fittings are definitely a bit budget.
- Jason (10/5): Exceptional - Lovely cabin, very homely, and well equipped, and a good sized balcony for sitting outside. Only a ten minute drive to Canterbury, and half an hour to the coast. Would highly recommend this lovely location.
- Stevens (10/5): A nice chilled stay. Well run , good accomadation. - Lovely quiet little place. Local for me to just get away. My decking was right where people park their cars felt abit on view.
- Claire (8/5): Very quiet and relaxing lodge - Spotlessly clean!!
Our lodge had everything we needed. The beds and bedding were comfortable. Well equipped kitchen.
Had a small problem when we arrived and the lady that works there had it sorted in half hour. Very nice staff. There wasn’t anything to dislike!!
- Ashley (10/5): Exceptional -
- Christopher (9/5): Superb -
- Gary (10/5): Gary - How quiet and peaceful the place was Nothing not to like was lovely
- Donna (10/5): Exceptional -
- Julia (8/5): A nice comfortable lodge for a short stay. Had the TV worked it would have been pretty much perfect. - The price was amazing value. I know it's December but it was a bargain. The lodge was very warm and comfortable. Parking was nearby and had large bays to load and unload. The TV didn't work, which with not much else to do there, was a bit disappointing. I was lent a DVD player and films but it was no substitute for proper television. It wasn't fixed while I was there.
I would have appreciated a cafetire to make fresh coffee and I found the oven gas rings temperamental to use.
- Farnsworth (8/5): Relaxing weekend - Peaceful and well equipped. Beds and pillows could be more comfortable.
- Cafer (10/5): Excellent value for money, would recommend! - I like how clean everything was and how it had good facilities along side with good kitchen equipment for my wife. Thanks to the staff for the great hospitality! Not much to not like.
- Daniel (10/5): Great value - Everything Nothing
- Linda (10/5): I needed a relaxing break after being ill for a time. This was perfect. Will definitely return in the spring - Comfortable, clean, well equipped and in such a peaceful location.
- Paula (10/5): Exceptional - Everything- the design is excellent- everything you need and really well laid out. Nothing
- Melody (10/5): Exceptional. Location perfect. Pretty outlook, plenty of trees and shrubs. - Self catering. Wonderfully quiet. Lodge spacious and felt luxurious! Exceptionally clean. Staff, really helpful, friendly and professional. The outlook is lovely. Very attractive with many trees, plants and pretty shrubs. A delight to wake up to. Love the large veranda. Very nice to choose a non-pet Lodge. Only a little more cutlery and perhaps a small pan. Otherwise faultless!
- Clare (9/5): Long weekend away staying in a lovely cabin ideally placed for travel across Kent - Lovely cabin; really clean and spacious and ideally situated for travel across Kent. Door lock barrel needed replacing but managed to lock up fine.
- Katherine (10/5): Would recommend anyone to say here if they love the countryside - It was a perfect couples weekend away me and my partners second time there and would happlily go again
- Gleb (10/5): Exceptional - An exceptional place to rest after a day of exploring nearby attractions and a starting point for sightseeing by car.
My wife and I felt very comfortable staying in a quiet spot away from the busy towns.
- Jasmine (10/5): My day was amazing, and I will be back very soon - I was honestly shocked when I saw the property it was absolutely beautiful so clean had everything I needed to cook lovely meals! There was nothing I didn't like. I would say the only thing is there is no phone signal but I am with EE provider so I don't know if that's just me but they have perfectly running Wi-Fi so we don't really need it.
- David (10/5): Highly recommend. - Perfect short stay, all facilities needed for self catering. Staff were polite, professional, & courteous. Lodge was clean with all fresh linen.
Thank you to Sherry.
- Jemma (10/5): Exceptional -
- James (10/5): Lovely place - Spacouis has everything needed Nothing I didn’t like but would say some places need to be looked at I’m a cleaner so maybe that’s why I notice I.e in shower room cob webs in livingroom dangling on the light above the food table cob webs in bathroom think it was the fan needs cleaning other then that no problems lovely place
- Alec (8/5): Very good -
- Diane (10/5): Exceptional - The staff are great location is so pretty.
Lodges so comfortable Nothing to not like
- Nadya (10/5): Exceptional -
- Melody (10/5): Already booked another break this year! - The location was perfect! The staff could not have been more helpful, friendly and made me feel so very welcome! The house was immaculately clean and fresh. Heating, facilities superb! Everything perfect
- Jemma (10/5): Exceptional -
- Johnson (8/5): Very good - Easy to find and great access for the hole area
- Linda (10/5): Relaxing break - The lodge was in a quiet location with easy access to canterbury park and ride 10 mins drive away.
The lodge was very clean warm and cosy and quiet. nothing everything we needed.
- David (10/5): Perfect place
A home away from home - A warm, comfortable, clean and cosy accommodation. Arrived in the evening after a long drive and stormy channel crossing half expecting a cold, glorified caravan, hoping it could be heated up quickly. The owners had the heating going before our arrival and all we had to do was put the kettle on for a good cup of tea and enjoy the rest of the day. There wasn't anything we didn't like.
- Monique (5/5): Average at best ! - Bed was more comfortable than expected Not clean
Extremely basic
Uncomfortable chairs and sofas
Everything was poor quality
- Peter (8/5): First time! Definitely coming again. - Lovely site and the lodge itself was amazing. Very cozy and warm, everything we needed in there and an excellent location for travelling to Canterbury.
- Nadya (10/5): Comfortable accommodation in peaceful countryside - The facilities within the lodge are excellent: plenty of space, natural light and everything is in good working order. We've thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Kitchen is very well equipped with a big fridge/freezer and plenty of appliances, pots, pans etc to prepare a hearty meal. The walking paths and the beautiful countryside are literally at the door step. The location is quiet and peaceful, with birds chirping nearby. All staff members were friendly and helpful. We would love to return in the future. It is worth bearing in mind that shampoo is not provided. Not a huge issue, just need to remember to bring your own bathroom toiletries for the stay.
- Anya (10/5): Absolutely lovely, would come again - It was really warm, lovely facilities There was no food waste bin!
- Destiny (10/5): Exceptional -
- Rowland (8/5): Very good -
- Dane (10/5): Exceptional -
- Tom (8/5): Good value for money. Attention to detail can be imporoved. - Great value No welcome pack (No tea bags/ect)
Dirty washing in the washing machine
Tea cup was dirty in the cupboard
Min sets of cutlery (4 forks / Spoons ect) so you need to se the dishwasher after every meal and are restricted to 1 course meals
- Julie (9/5): Perfect family getaway to celebrate Christmas - The lodges are spacious and comfortable - with all that was needed for our Christmas
- Marianne (7/5): Good - A spacious apartment Poor kitchen equipment for cooking
- Ron (9/5): A very relaxing weekend in a beautiful area - Lovely modern clean comfortable house. And of course the area is beautiful. There were no dishwasher tablets. Also not enough cutlery and crockery if dishwasher was used
- Stevens (10/5): Fantastic little Haven - It was lovely and quiet. Small and easy to get to.
- Daniel (9/5): Superb -
- Asma (8/5): Very good -
- Karon (8/5): It was a nice little place to be honest but it’s definitely out the way for everything and would need a car. - I liked the peace and quiet looking at wild life was nice too. Nothing at all there just the cabins there’s nothing for children no park nothing.
There’s no little shop to get bread and milk if you ran out the nearest was 6miles down the road.
- Sonya (10/5): Exceptional -
- Colin (10/5): Exceptional -
- Sophie (10/5): Exceptional - Clean, spacious, great location. Lovely lodges N/a
- Christopher (10/5): Exceptional -
- Abdurrahman (9/5): Very nice property to spend a family holiday - The property was well designed. It has a big living room and 2 good-sized bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and a lovely big balcony with a table and 4 chairs. A dishwasher, a big size fridge and a washing machine makes it easier to spend a long holiday. Stayed here for 7 nights. And would like to stay again. There is a poor connection inside the property with EE, and no signal from Vodafone. So all you need is a good wifi connection to have wifi calls and access to internet. But Wifi is unstable and slow. Also there are TVs in every room but they are old-fashioned. No Netflix, Youtube etc. which you expect when you spend your holiday with the family.
- Jennifer (10/5): Peace and tranquil - The peace and quiet
