Efficient no-contact check in. I’m not a fan of monochrome black/charcoal decor - personal taste. Some warm colours would be nice in winter 🌼

• Pierre Spies (10/5): - This is a beautiful, comfortable and very neat apartment in a beautiful and quiet suburb called Heatherlands. This is ideal if you want to stay in a nice, safe neighbourhood near shops and restaurants. The park is mostly quiet and the surrounds are perfect for a morning or evening walk with mountain views.

War ein lieber Hund, lag jedoch jeden Tag vor unserer Tür, ist aber nicht ins Zimmer. Für uns war es kein Problem Die Gastgeberin hat uns empfangen, kurz eingewiesen, völlig unkompliziert.

The place has a beautiful, modern look that immediately makes you feel welcome and at home. Every detail has been thoughtfully designed, creating a stylish yet comfortable atmosphere. It truly had everything you could possibly need during your stay, which made it feel incredibly convenient and stress-free. One of my favorite touches was the comfortable duck feather bedding — it felt luxurious and made for some of the best sleep I’ve had in a long time. Check-in was quick and easy, with clear instructions that made the whole process seamless. The property was also spotless upon arrival, which really added to the overall positive experience. Overall, it was a lovely and relaxing stay, and I would absolutely return. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a clean, modern, and comfortable place to unwind.

From the moment I arrived, I felt completely at home. The cottage is beautifully kept — spotless, cozy, and thoughtfully decorated with charming details that give it a welcoming atmosphere.I loved how peaceful and private the setting was, surrounded by nature yet still close to town. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and I appreciated all the little touches that made the stay extra special, like fresh towels, good-quality toiletries, and a well-equipped kitchen. Overall, Heather Cottage is the perfect place for anyone looking for comfort, tranquility, and a true “home away from home” feeling in George. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area. Everything was very pleasant and so comfy, I honestly don't have any complaints.

• Muzaffer (7/5): Heather cottages - It is a lovely modern cottage in a peaceful location. It's not an ideal location for winter as it gets quite cold in the cottage even with the fan heater given as well as no hot water on the first night

• Tonia (10/5): I absolutely loved the stay at Heather Rd Cottage and will definitely book there again! - I loved everything - the self check in and instructions were clear and easy to do. The apartment is beautifully modern and it was very clean! Fully equipped with enough towels and pillows and blankets, cutlery, blow dryer, iron and ironing board, cleaning supplies etc. The placed smelled so good! There was milk for coffee and two chocolates on the bed upon arrival and fresh hydrangeas (thoughtful). Communication was excellent and prompt. The hosts are very kind which I gathered from our message communication. Will definitely book here again when I visit George. The only criticism is regarding the steel ramp to get to the apartment. The curb is high and the ramp could be broader. My car (T-cross) wasn’t particularly happy and emergency braked going off the ramp each time. It’s not the end of the world though!

• Linda (10/5): Awesome stay as this fresh and sparkling spot - I was so comfortable here, everything was clean and fresh and felt brand new. It was a superb stay and the host was very friendly and accommodating. I will highly recommend this cottage and it was so well situated for all my business travel needs, it will now be my permanent home in George when I next visit there. I can't think of a single thing that can improve, however I would have liked a little more info on the Peacock colony that inhabits the area around the Heatherlands, as their cries startled me at first until I figured out that it was just Peacock noises :-)

• Andrea (10/5): Great stay in cosy cottage - We stayed one night before the MUT race, and the cottage was perfect. The location was just 5 minutes from the race, which made it incredibly convenient. The kitchen was fully equipped, allowing us to cook our meals easily. The bed was really comfortable, ensuring we had a good night's rest before the race. Check-in and check-out were super smooth with a locker, and Cornel was very accommodating with the check-in and check-out times. Highly recommend!

The location is also so good, that everything is accessible, all grocery purchase was close by didn't find any difficulty in doing things. Everything was perfect!!!
