• Vienoodjkoemar (9/5): A lovely place - Don't have too high expectations, especially when you have stayed it luxurious hotels. It's basic and a bit outdated. But everything is there and the staff is sweet. We were sad to leave after three nights there. We can't discribe but it's the energy and admosphere we loved. The beach is five minutes walk, we loved that. So when you arrive give yourself the time to adjust The staff is sweet, but you have to be proactive to connect with them. Maybe some adjustment with the lightning.

• Manon (8/5): Ik zou hier terugkomen wanneer ik weer in Kamakura kom. - De sfeer (surfervibe, hostel maar dan gewoon met eigen kamer en badkamer, contact met personeel en andere gasten) De locatie (10 minuten van het station, 5 van het strand, supermarkt dichtbij, leuk winkelstraatje) Buiten een zitje, koelkast beschikbaar Verwacht niks fancy, maar wij kozen daarvoor en hebben ons verblijf zelfs verlengd.

• Olga (10/5): Уютно, дружелюбно, прекрасные кровати - Из-за угрозы тайфуна застряла в Камакуре, уже под вечер стало понятно, что поезда не запустят, и я лихорадочно начала искать ночлег. Оперативное подтверждение, и в течение часа я уже была в своем номере. Приветливый и отзывчивый персонал, домашняя атмосфера, номер с личной ванной, все необходимое имеется, холодильник в общей зоне, на первом этаже в доступе кипяток и чай. Очень удобные кровати и невероятно приятные наощупь полотенца! Рада, что нашла. В следующий раз однозначно там же остановлюсь нет

• Claudie (7/5): Un bon lieu pour séjourner une nuit, situation ideale a 15min a pieds de la gare et proche plage. Personnel très accueil - La flexibilité du personnel, le calme et le coté intimiste du lieu. Les chambres mériteraient un coup de rénovation et surtout l’équipement est moyen pour le prix payé : pas de lampe de chevet, pas de prise a proximité du lit, le frigo fait un bruit énorme, et lit moyennement confortable.

The hotel is a large private house—very cozy and peaceful. I stayed in a twin room, which was spacious, and I woke up to the sound of birds in the morning. Both the room and the shared bathroom were very clean. It was a wonderful stay.

• Ines (6/5): Okay stay in an old property - Location is good, it is in a small street so you can't hear the traffic. Not far away from the main station. I loved the tatami part of my room. Toilet was very clean. Bed was uncomfortable for me. I did my laundry here and it had just an awful, musty smell. Whole property is in desperate need of renovation, especially bed, carpets and hallway. It all had a stale, humid feeling.

Dust was found on the cabinet, fridge & tv. long hair and dirt found on the carpet, mat and patio door rails. I got sneezing and itchy eyes. The Japanese table wagged when I was writing. Even the common area seemed no clean up at all. No professional practice. Stated as above

La mer à 5mn, la gare à 2 m et le calme. - Le confort de la chambre et cette grande maison, son salon, sa terrasse, son petit onzen L'absence totale de bruit des voisins ou autres dérangement. Seuls les oiseaux. La grande gentillesse de Yuku qui m'a indiqué plusieurs endroits pour déjeuner et laissé trainer dans le salon bien aprés l'heure du check out. La garde de mon bagage. Rien.

• Robyn (8/5): - Green grass is an old school type of guesthouse with about 10 rooms but we didn't see or hear anyone else during our 3 days there. Yuka the live-in manager is lovely and helpful. It's in a very quiet neighbourhood and just a short walk from the train. Bed was a little hard for me.

• Jennifer (10/5): Very comfortable, super staff! - The bed mattresses are well above average for Japan! We booked one night and will stay for at least three. The location is extremely close to very good restaurants and diverse shopping. It's close to the beach. It's close to the train station. Our first room had a private toilet but shared shower. Our second room has a private full bath. The staff are wonderful. This town is a hidden gem, with lots of walking paths, ancient caves and rock formations, etc. The locals are so kind. One can find peace and quiet, or bustling markets. We really like it!

Host was very kind. - The location is in a quiet neighborhood that is a short walk from a train station (Wadazuka), and a little longer walk to the beach. You have a private room with a toilet and the door to your room has a lock. You share shower space and there are tables for eating if you would like.

• Mehdi (10/5): Super ! - J’ai passé un excellent séjour au Kamakura Green Grass. J’avais pris une chambre sans salle de bain, mais j’ai été surpris de quand même y trouver des toilettes et un lavabo. La chambre était spacieuse avec un coin tatami. Concernant les bains communs, ce n’était absolument pas un problème, il est possible de verrouiller la porte et avec un peu d’organisation (j’y allait un peu tard) vous pourrez en profiter seuls. La gentillesse de Yucca revient très souvent dans les commentaires et ce n’est pas un mythe, j’ai partagé de super moments avec elle et d’autres voyageurs à la réception ! Vous avez du thé et des gâteaux à disposition gratuitement à la réception et des frigo avec des boissons (payantes). Yucca gère aussi sa propre marque de vêtements, vous pourrez voir les différents modèles proposés à la réception. En définitive, une super expérience, j’ai prolongé mon séjour et si je reviens à Kamakura, j’y réserverai mes nuits à coup sûr ! ☀️👌🏼 -
• Verena (9/5): Kann man nur weiterempfehlen! - Die Atmosphäre ist sehr angenehm. Das Zimmer hatte einen Teil, der mit Tatami-Matten ausgelegt war und das geteilte Badezimmer fungiert als privates Hot Spring Bad. Die Hotelbesitzerin ist sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend.

• Florian (9/5): Great value for money in the heart of Kamakura - Very conveniently located in the heart of Kamakura. Very friendly and welcoming host who runs her own fashion brand (!) of which you can buy cool merchandise on site. I booked a room that was advertised without any bathroom but ended up having a toilet and sink in the room anyway, and was also very big with a tatami area. Great value for money! The shower room has a small sento where you can warm up. Overall, great experience!
• Oliver (2/5): - Es ist mir immer noch ein Rätsel, wie es zu den vielen guten Kommentaren kommt. Die Pension war vielleicht vor vielen Jahren mal ein nette hübsche Pension, hat aber jetzt den Charme eine abruchreifen Hütte. Da es Problme mit dem Check-in gab (wir haben über 2 Stunden in der Kälte vor der Türe gewartet und konnten niemanden erreichen) hatten wir genug Zeit, das Haus und Aussengelände zu betrachten. Nicht sehr einladend ist u.a. der uralte und kaputte Gartentisch, der auf verbogenen wackelnden Sperrholzplatten steht. Nachdem wir dann doch ins Haus konnten, waren wir recht geschockt: überall standen auf Möbeln und Fussböden Krempel herum, die Teppichböden waren Fleckig, die Armaturen in unserem Bad verdreckt, Schimmel an Fenstern und Türen und die Küche - in die wir einen Blick geworfen haben, war eine einzige Rumpelkammer. Die junge Angestellte war freundlich, schien aber komplett überfordert mit allem. Immerhin waren die Betten frisch bezogen, aber das war auch schon das einzige - neben der günstigen Lage in der Nähe da kleinen Bahnhofs - Positive, was es zu sagen gibt. Dazu ist der Preis gemessen an dem geboteten "Komfort" unverschämt hoch.
• Amelie (7/5): - Staff were lovely and sweet when checking in, place was relatively clean and comfortable. It wasn’t noisy so good to sleep and a little out the way. However within walking distance to a supermarket, convenience store, local train station and some restaurants. Does have a small fridge in rooms to store food. The train station being near meant it was easy to travel around using the kamakura train. Definitely was an older property and a bit run down, there was mold in the sink and old stains etc. It was a 16 minute walk from Kamakura station, and I walked as Kamakura station was super busy with other tourists, and not worth getting on the train for one stop. But super close to the next stop so if needed it’s accessible via public transport. Doesn’t have a kitchen to prepare food, and definitely was more pricey to eat out then Tokyo!

• Dan (10/5): Very pleasant stay on a quiet street. I would return any time. - Breakfast was good, but outside of what I am used to as an American. Funabashi is not a tourist town. But I enjoyed wandering the backstreets. I had the best sushi in Funabashi, I ate in one month in Japan! Very traditional sushi restaurant one block from the hotel. Excellent! And the restaurants in the train station were as usual very good.
