• Nicole (10/5): - A quelques pas de silent beach ,dans une rue calme avec tout ce qu'il faut de commerces, la maison des oiseaux portes bien son nom et vous êtes heureux de pouvoir profiter de ce petit paradis quelques jours depuis le grand balcon .Les propriétaires sont charmanst et très accueillants et parlent très bien anglais .
• Zoë-Misha (10/5): a very relaxing, place to calm down and watch the birds - I was received with a very warm welcome, the home itself is cozy, having a floor to myself felt very liberating and spacious, the balcony was absolutely exquisite! From the balcony you can daydream while looking over the lush flower garden, watch the birds, lay down or do some work in private and peace. Great location walkable to the beach, and my favourite place EasyLife Campus 🥰 the hosts are very accommodating also, excited to show their guest a special bird! It was quite hot at night, but resolvable by placing the fan between the open balcony doors.
• cedric (9/5): Un petit coin de paradis proche de la mer avec beaucoup de très bons restaurants autours - Logement calme , avec beaucoup de charme. Les animaux qui viennent dans le jardins et sur les toits avoisinants ( nombreuses espèces d’oiseaux, écureuils, et même des singes !!) la proximité a la plage. Rien en particulier ! On a eu chaud mais le ventilateur a fait l’affaire !

• Olivia (10/5): Clean, relaxed homestay next to the beach - Location is perfect. 2 min walk to the silent beach. Nice balcony to chill, comfortable bed, good shower. Everything is clean. Tuk tuk to Tangalle or Hiriketiya works. Host is helpful und friendly. Cheap and good local food around. Bigger supermarkets you have to go to Tangalle, if needed. No kitchen to cook or fridge to cool something.

• Georgina (10/5): Paradise garden - A serene oasis, located on a lovely, friendly street full of family run restaurants and just minutes walk from the great beach where we enjoyed the best sunset in Sri Lanka. Run by a lovely, kind family who offered a delicious breakfast in their perfect garden That we only spent one night - we wish we stayed longer!
• Floraline (8/5): - Un chouette homestay, propre et confortable, pas de climatisation mais un ventilateur : j'ai trouvé ça complètement suffisant. À quelques minutes à pied de la plage : Silent Beach.
• Auriol (9/5): Brilliant for bird watching and those that prefer to see the local community than a hotel. - Beautifully kept garden with lots of birds. Wonderful to sit on the balcony among the trees and watch. Very welcoming and generous hosts. Silent beach is a stunning beach just a few minutes walk away with a few great beach shacks. Plenty of nice simple places to eat right outside too. Or a short tuk tuk to Goyamboka beach for fun waves and shacks. We also liked the daily bakery van that came around the streets.

• Esther (9/5): Cozy homestay set in a green garden a few minutes from Silent Beach - Cozy homestay in a beautiful green garden with many different birds! The hosts were extremely helpful! We really liked that there are two rooms. The terrace is big and private. One of the rooms even has a desk which was great for the work I had to do. The shower pressure is excellent and there was hot water as well. There is a kitchen with big fridge and freezer you can use. We would have liked to make the rooms darker with black/dark curtains.
• Scarpi (9/5): Great hospitality b - The hosts are great, real ambassador of sri lankan hospitality. Made me feel welcome from the first moment and tried to satisfy all my needs. The room also has a great balcony facing the beautiful garden, and if you are lucky, you can also spot the resident peacock! The position is excellent, just a few minutes walking to Silent Beach and amazing restaurants nearby: Athena(for seafood) and Easy Life Cafe for some delicious healthy bowls. Cleanings are acceptable, but can be improved.

• Savanna (9/5): Superb - Great balcony area, lovely gardens with peacocks hanging around. The hosts were very kind and helped to organise tuk tuks etc. minutes away from silent beach which is stunning! Also very close to Tangalle by tuk tuk, and walking distance to other lovely beaches.
• Megan (10/5): Kind, quiet, and comfortable stay - Very kind hosts! Was given fresh coconut upon arrival, and was offered tea/coffee in the morning. Good recommendations for food. Very calm and relaxing stay!
• Paulius (3/5): Two tiny rooms and mouldy bathroom - false advertising - avoid - Close to silent beach Advertised as “apartment” but in reality is actually two tiny rooms upstairs with a shared bathroom with no living room. It is not an entire apartment, so the listing is misleading. Bathroom had a lot of green mould and it was really disgusting. Bathroom is accessible from one of the rooms so our family members who slept in that room were interrupted during the night’s sleep when we needed to use bathroom. Rooms do not lock at all. Doors in the bigger room does not close because of the beds and there not being enough space. The bigger room with two beds is so crammed we had to use the stairway to keep our luggage as otherwise it is impossible to walk in the room and get to the bed. The second room (adjacent to the bathroom) had a dirty desk and some other owner’s things left there. Rooms in general were not clean at all including the balcony. I cannot recommend this place and would avoid this place.
