Loved yer lodge. So comfortable . Great tv. Absolutely beautiful if we had less showers to walk around.. yes really enjoyed staying and be be there again as a break and make use of facilities too. The bed I won't forget. So comfortable , which means a lot. I would rate this as excellent. The rain. Everything else was perfect and the only thing I regreted was that couldn't stay longer.

We were offered to be upgraded to the lodges- which we were delighted with but when we checked in & went to lodge it was not near the hotel, it looked run down from the outside. Inside was ok, was dirty in some areas. Just felt like we were just placed outside into lodges! We didn’t want to say anything to staff as didn’t think they were the friendliest unfortunately.

- Josh (10/5): Overall very nice and relaxing but considering it was our second stay and both times are only complaint was the staff in - The set up of the bars and restaurants and also the spa! Brilliant I didnt like how the staff were in the restaurants! Very unorganized considering the money i spent!

Lots of nice walks and outdoor activities to engage with around the grounds of the hotel. The coffee machine in the bedroom didn't work. The cold tap in the bath didn't work so we couldn't get a bath as the water was piping hot. The shower wasn't great as it was very difficult to regulate the temperature of the water. We felt the staff in reception and around the hotel could have been more friendly.

- Abby (5/5): I wouldn’t come back to stay - Spa was fantastic and staff were all very friendly and helpful First room we were given was not what the picture of the room online. The TV didn’t work and the room smelled like a nursing home. The receptionist was really helpful and did change our room, but I was honestly disgusted that that room was even given to us in the first place. The hotel could do with some touch ups everything was a bit battered and worn even in the new room. I don’t think the price of a nights stay in this hotel reflects anything other than the spa facilities. I can’t fault any of the staff but I do feel for a four star hotel there is major room for improvement

- Joanne (5/5): For the price paid, I was somewhat disappointed. - Beautiful building and grounds. Room was large and spacious. Well equipped (coffee machine etc.) Enjoyed using the sauna and steam room but it was very busy. Our room was quite cold and we could not control the heating. Our room was adjoining and there was a lot of noise from the neighbouring room (which seemed to be group of girls who were quite noisy). Steak at dinner was quite chewy, I asked for a second glass of merlot with my steak but the bar staff could not find another bottle. I waited 15 minutes for another glass but was offered a glass of white wine instead. I had messaged the property several times prior to arriving to ask whether access to the thermal suite was included in the cost - no one responded. I then had to call the property but by this stage there were no slots available in the thermal spa.

- Kevin (8/5): Weekend break - Good facilities, friendly staff You pay for bed and breakfast but if you want to order anything apart from the buffet it is extra, I have never seen this before in a hotel apart from.paying for special coffees, just thought this was a poor way to get additional money from guests, also, sound proofing is poor, had disrupted sleep as a resulted with banging doors etc, also fire alarm went off at 6:30am
