• WEN-YU (5/5): Budget saver but not a good choices - Location is good. The room is narrow and no lounges. And it seems there have some long term residents, they just open my curtain while I’m staying in my bed. No privacy at all. And i barely can’t sleep because of the noises. People turn on the light at early morning like 6 or 7 and talks inside the room.

• C (5/5): Not a great experience, won’t be back. - Rooms and common areas are kept clean. Doesn’t have separate rooms for male and female and you have to share a rooms/bathrooms/toilets with the other gender. I was the only female among many men one time, and I felt really uncomfortable - I could barely sleep that night as I felt a bit unsafe. I planned to stay longer but had to leave. Also, seems like there’s no respect for boundaries - I had bought some fruits and kept them in the kitchen area while I went in to get dressed, and by the time I came back (few minutes in between) someone had unpacked the fruit, and eaten more than half of it! Yeah, there’s some weird people around.

• Mia (5/5): Decent - It was a convenient location and the bathrooms were clean and working well. I felt uncomfortable in my room as I didn’t have much privacy at all since the two men sleeping in the bunkers either side of me weren’t closing their curtains. There was no hot water coming out of the tap.

• thien (8/5): - Staff was very kind and helpful. Hostel is conveniently close to Maxwell MRT station. Restaurant was a dozen of steps away from the hostel. Very good.
• Adam (3/5): - The place itself is ok There was a data-leek. I received several scam emails before my stay, and even after a month I am still receiving about 10 spam emails per day. Booking only responded after a month, and even then nothing came of it.

• Justina (7/5): - good location, friendly staff, clean. there was just one shower and toilet for 7-10 people. facilities were ok, but kitchen is very simple, just ketle, microwave. no space to sit and chill.

• Thorstein (7/5): Good for the price - Good location close to public transport and local Hawker centers. Simple bedding replaced between each guest, and daily tidying. Basic facilities and good for the price. A bit to hot in the room and had to use earplugs to sleep from the AC. Able to hear notice from the outside though the not sound proof doors, however located on a non busy road.

• Olivia Grace (6/5): - Location was great! Loved being right in the heart of Chinatown. The bed was so uncomfortable, honestly hard to even fall asleep it felt like a rock. The first room I was in someone told me they found bed bugs, I checked my stuff and it was fine and they let me switch rooms… the second room I was in didn’t have a door knob that worked. There’s only one toilet / shower for I think 3 rooms of 8… and the hostel was a bit hard to find at first. There’s also not really any room to just sit that’s not your bed. Lockers were small.

• Peter (8/5): A good choice for budget travelers. - Easy to get to, many cheap food options, helpful staff and very clean. Fairly quiet and good price for Singapore. Great for exploring Chinatown and the Buddhist and Hindu temples. Only one shower and one toilet so you may need to wait. No common area except for minimal kitchen.
• Carlos (4/5): Not a comfortable stay. - Not much I liked about this place other than the price and clean, compared to everything was available in Singapore Everything, it’s too cramped very little room with 6x people using only one bathroom/shower shared with other rooms as well.

• Wei (6/5): Beside flee bite…. Everything is goood - location is very good and value for the money since everything is so expensive in sg. Facility is basic but everything is good u paid what u get. There is hawker right next to it so u can save money for food. Even though there is no mosquito in sg but somehow i got bite by flee in the hostel multiple times very badly……. I don’t know why there was flee but it was really bad….. beside that everything is good…

• Eva 1991 (6/5): - Super Lage direkt an der MRT Station Maxwell. Betten bequem und nettes Personal. Nur ein Waschbecken, Klo und Dusche für mehrere Dorms, daher dementsprechende Wartezeiten. Hatte ein upper bed und hab jede Bewegung der unteren Person mitbekommen. Wenig Privatsphäre, da Vorhang nur das halbe Bett abdeckt. Wenig Stauraum für Gepäck, keine Ablagemöglichkeit am Bett.

• Sophie (7/5): Good value for money very good location! - Very convenient location, the host was easy to contact. Lockers in the rooms to keep belongings. Free water refill and working AC in the rooms. Overall good value for money! No window in the rooms, quite small space. Beds very squeaky. No communal area to sit and chill. People coming in and out at all times of the night and turning on lights, little regard for other guests!

• Alex (1/5): Financial Risk and Terrible Facilities, Stay Away... - The only aspect of this stay was the location, which was semi convenient for getting around. Unfortunately, this does not make up for the serious security and safety issues I encountered. Stay away from this hostel if you value your bank account and personal data. The hostel is responsible for a massive security failure where I was targeted by sophisticated phishing scams via their official Booking.com chat. These links were sent by someone with access to my private reservation details. This nearly drained all my disposable cash and cost me 59usd to replace my bank cards. Even after leaving, I continued to receive phishing links through the official chat, and my long-term email address has now been leaked on the dark web. Management took zero responsibility and tried to gaslight me by saying their systems are secure, despite clear evidence that their staff or systems are involved. The actual stay was equally miserable. The beds are so squeaky that any movement is awkwardly loud for the whole room. There is only one shower for the entire dorm area, which is unacceptable. There seemed to be long-term residents in the room which were strange, talking at all hours and repeatedly turning the Aircon off. This place is a danger to your security and a terrible place to sleep.

Мне повезло с соседями) Один санузел и один душ на две комнаты, в результате чего постоянно очередь.

• Simina (7/5): Central tiny place for a night or 2. No windows. - Great location, clean, but the whole place is very small, no windows, and the room smells kind of damp if the AC is not working. The place is right next to a Buddhist temple, some food courts and places of interest. Transportation is easily available, place is clean and somehow worth the money, but don't expect any luxury. I spent 2 nights there and the room is so tiny you can hear everything through the walls. Very tiny room, no windows, feels a bit claustrophobic. The entrance of the Hostel is at 1st floor, from a block hallway. There is no place to just relax inside.

• Erika (10/5): Det var rent och frecht, trevlig pesonal. Kan absolut tänka mig att övernatta där igen. - Allt var rent, det var det bästa med stället!! Personalen var trevlig. Det fanns en vattenautomat, så man kunde när som fylla på kallt gott vatten, det var superbra!! Glöm inte att ta med er tofflor (man får inte ha på sig skor eller barfota i rummet) och hänglås (man får tillgång till ett skåp i rummet där man kan låsa den med ett hänglås, se bild. Det var kodlås in till byggnaden, men själva sovrummen hade inget lås). Man kunde använda alla typer av strömadapter i vägguttaget vid sängen, så man behövde inte en strömadapter till just Singapore, det var också superbra!! Det var bra gardiner vid sängen, så man kunde isolera sig väl. Lampan vid sängen var bra också. Läget var bra också, i Chinatown. Väldigt nöjd med stället!! Det ända var egentligen att sängarna gnisslade lite när man rörde sig i sängen, och att madrasserna var lite tunna. Om man är väldigt känslig för ljud och måste ha en väldigt mjuk madrass kanske man ska tänka om. Min vän klagade på det, men jag tänkte inte alls på det (då tycker jag ändå ju mjukare madrass desto bättre), så det beror på hur känslig man är.

• Ern Tung (8/5): - Location, price point, right in the middle of China town with train stations walking distance, eatery nearby. 6 beds per room, wash room and toilet outside of the room. Lights and plug is nearby bed. Water dispenser too. Even a kitchen corner with fridge! Everything needed is equipped. Bed is with curtain, but only one sided so slight compromise.

• Donnell (8/5): A great way to make friends while short-term traveling. - The location was ideal; right in the heart of Chinatown and a stone’s toss from three dynamic Street Food Markets, all of which sang to my soul. I loved that the facilities - separate shower and toilet - were cleaned daily, along with my bunk room and the common areas. I shared space with the coolest guys, so I have no complaints about that. For my first hostel experience, I was very comfortable. You do have to purchase your own towel. I might have missed that information when reading about the hostel. Minor adjustment.
• James (10/5): Great hostel in chinatown - Located in Chinatown and steps away from mrt Newton station. Super clean and well kept. Bunk was comfortable with great air condition and hot water showers. Self laundry 3 minute walk with food hawkers basically out the door. Hostel very sweet. On second floor of a complex. Better signage would help and standard instructions in booking.com Nothing else was an issue.
