• Jamin (2/5): Disastrous - The internet was very fast. Our stay at Casa Domus was a nightmare from start to finish. The problems began before we even arrived, with over 20 emails bombarding us with mostly useless information for the hosting company Vacasa. This excessive communication was overwhelming and unnecessary. Communicating with Vacas was nearly impossible. First, we were forced to deal with a bot. Then, after extensive searching online, we finally found a phone number for Vacasa, but no one would took responsibility for actually doing anything. The house itself was a disaster. Half of the air conditioning didn't work, and they claimed it couldn't be fixed. The washing machine was also broken, adding to our frustration. Additionally, the place was dirty, which was disappointing given the expectations set by the listing. To top it off, they failed to inform us that the road in front of the house would be under construction. This resulted in us being unable to remove our car from the on property parking for two days, effectively cutting our four-day sightseeing plans in half. Because these numerous issues, they promised us a refund, which we still haven't received a month later. Our many messages and calls about it are being ignored, showing a complete lack of accountability and customer service. Overall, Casa Domus was a huge disappointment. We strongly advise against staying here.
• Joan (3/5): Location great and the place was not as advertised. - It had great location, as everything was in walking distance.Someone from the rental place was suppose to me us, that didn't happen. We got our keys with a code to a lock box. Inside the gate, the atrium was dirty, dead leaves all over the place. We unlock the sliding doors and it is very hot inside. No one came by from the rental agency to turn on the wall air conditioning units downstairs or upstairs. The upstairs units barly worked, so we checked the filters and they were dirty. We cleaned them and one worked OK but it was so hot inches house that it struggled to make it comfortable. The master bedroom never got cold and we moved to sleep in the twin bed room as we got the a/c to work. There was No TV, cable disconnected, no WiFi. We asked before arrival was there a blender and toaster etc. The blender was broken, the toaster we had to hold the handle down while toasting. The washer and dryer were okay. We called about bathroom towels and let them know our troubles. We had no hot water upstairs in bathrooms. They said someone would contact us. NO ONE EVER DID. We were told the jacuzzi didn't work and it was dirty. We cleaned it out and it worked fine, so one more lie. The staircase is dangerous at the top. Both men in our foursome fell on the stairway. The location is within walking distance. We were told we would get some compensation by booking agent. Another lie! It is now May 17th, we were there mid February, no calls, letter, or compensation. For the price not worth it! Everything! See above!!! Nothing worked, dirty atrium, cold showers only, no blender, toaster not working, no television or WiFi. Only downstairs a/c worked properly.
