• Gwen (9/5): Overall I would definitely recommend staying here, we had a great time! - My partner and I stayed in the Wight Scape chalet our baby moon. Rowena was really great, keen to send us all the relevant information in advance, and kindly arranged discounted ferry tickets for us from the mainland. The chalet was beautifully decorated and nice and clean, very cosy. Would absolutely recommend! One thing to note is that the beach is not as easy or short a walk away as I thought - the route to the beach via the coastal path was a bit too treacherous for me at 7 months pregnant, and the other option was to walk via the road which had a few blinds spots. I would say you do need a car to get to the beach if you have any degree of mobility issues.

• lock (10/5): Secret gem of a stay! - Perfect for our family of 3 with dog. Comfortable, bright and deceptively spacious with very well equipped kitchen too. Stayed for 3 nights, could have stayed long and will definitely be returning. Rowen has been really helpful, kind and responsive in message prior to our arrival and making sure we settled in ok too. Lovely, quiet site with dream access to beach. Not sure - cant think of anything. But did think we had a fenced outside veranda area to let the dog off the lead but we don't. However is not a problem at all just got confused as that is the other property.

• Jennifer (10/5): Delightful chalet, I hope to come back soon - The property was clean and inviting with lots of lovely seaside themed decoration. Everything you would need was provided for a comfortable stay. Rowena and Carl kept in touch in case you had a problem and the view of the sea as you left the chalet was an added bonus. Not being able to park right outside although parking was close.

• Nikki (10/5): Great place to stay - This was our first ever stay here with our dog Bonnie and we loved every minute, The chalet was clean and tidy and had absolutely everything we needed, the beds were amazingly comfy and the chalet is ideally situated, not to far from Sandown and the beach is a stones throw away, which was great for Bon. We will definitely be returning, possibly twice next year as it suited our needs perfect The hosts were great, very informative. The site is very dog friendly 🙂 Thank you so much! Nothing at all..

Makes it feel so homely! Holiday park has a very calm/quiet vibe even though there are lots of families staying there. Such a good location, we were able to explore the island and nothing was too far from here! The island offers lots to do for all ages! The beaches are beautiful! We really loved our stay!

• Robert (10/5): Best accommodation on IOW island - Fantastic location overlooking the ocean and really peaceful and relaxing, The outdoor table and chairs really came in handy for our morning cup of tea overlooking the beautiful beach front and sea, The chalet itself was fully loaded with everything you would need and modern updated lighting and underfloor heating too, The kitchen cupboards are loaded with enough plates cups and glasses for a week and loads of other useful utensils in the draws, We had a group in multiple chalets that all came with cool perks, We had a washing machine and another had a dishwasher and another had an air fryer it really was extremely helpful, The bedrooms are nicely decorated and comfortable with good quality bedding, towels and memory foam mattresses a wardrobe with loads of hangers and draws to store my clothing and funky directional lighting for reading in bed, The bathroom was modern updated really nicely with a shower and extraction fan, Overall the chalet and park really went above expectations and I'll definitely return in the near future. Nothing at all everything was fantastic

Nice beach themed decorations Sadly the chalet was quite dirty even though the cleaners just left. Owner made aware and agreed not clean from photos. Tripple bunk in 2nd bedroom crazily too big for the room. ment no room to put suitcase on the floor- son had to sleep with the case on his bed, single wardrobe but was blocked by 2 portable heaters and clothes airer, hoover inside the wardrobe so literally nowhere to put or hang clothes. Mop and bucket lives in the bathroom so had to move that about when we wanted to use the sink or shower. Too much 'stuff' for such a small chalet, even getting the dining table out was a faff due to other chairs and side table being next to it so had to 'rearrange' the furniture to make it practical. The worse thing is the floodlight oppersite the chalet thats on all night and lights up the main bedroom even with the blinds down. :(

• Alice (8/5): April stay two children - The accommodation itself was ideal for what we needed, with all the things we needed to cook dinner etc there. There was also helpful information on the local area and great internet, parking facilities etc. However, we were not pleased with the cleanliness of the accommodation. It is massively overdue a deep clean. Additionally there were lots of hairs on the bedsheets and even everyday areas like the dining table were not clean unfortunately. We had also wanted to utilise the sofabed in the lounge as we weren't comfortable with our 5 year old using the top bunk bed but there were no bedsheets available so we had to have a move round of bits on the bunkbed to allow this. I don't like to feedback negative parts but feel it's important to be truthful. If the accommodation improved on the cleanliness we'd absolutely use it again, as otherwise ideal.

• Jim (10/5): Wonderful cosy cabin to come back to in chilly October weather - It was cute and cosy and had everything we needed and more. The kids loved it, particularly all the little decor items, and the bunk bed. Not a great view, particularly out of the kitchen window on to a brick wall, but I guess that can’t be helped 😄

Nice outside area for kids to play and lovely dog walks to the beach. Property was smaller than we thought but ok for a little family. It needs more attention to the cleaning process. In general ok but a lot of dust and hairs behind and under units like the bed and sofa.
• Hayley (8/5): Great location for dog owners - The accommodation was dog friendly and a great location for walking, with the coastal path at the end of the chalet park and only a 5 minute walk down to the dog friendly beach and then the coast line. A pint of milk left in the fridge for tea was a nice touch. The chalet was quite small, so our dog and his bed took up quite a lot of room in the lounge area. The main bedroom had a lot of furniture in it for the size of it.

Disappointed however a roof and place to sleep during our long weekend

• Steve (9/5): Lovely location with well provisioned property - The property was clean well planned and comfortable. It contained everything you need for a holiday. The views were lovely pretty much straight out of the window. The site was pretty empty when we were there, so not sure what it would be like otherwise. Great walks from the front door. Nothing about the property but the entrance to the site from the road is dodgy so don’t turn right when you leave.

• Robyn (10/5): Comforting, relaxing and homely - This property really felt like a home from home. It was so comfortable and relaxing. I loved how I was still able to do my washing and iron anything if needed. It is an amazing place to stay for families and my son made friends with other children who were staying at the holiday park. We highly recommend and would stay again! There was nothing I didn’t like.
• Charlotte (10/5): Home from home offered by a considerate friendly host - Clean, tidy, great location, everything has been thought of, a real home from home environment. Can’t recommend this property enough. Not only is it beautifully decorated, meticulously clean, and in a great location, but it is also offered by an excellent host who is on hand and easily contactable via WhatsApp to answer any queries. Rowena couldn’t have been more helpful if she’d tried. Sofa bed in the lounge is large, comes with bedding and is very comfortable- highly, highly recommend and we will be returning without a shadow of a doubt. Had an issue with a window being locked and missing fan (it was a heatwave the day we arrived which is the only reason we noticed!) but Rowena was super speedy with her response and sent both a brand new fan and the window keys special delivery for the following day. Even messaged us the following morning to check how we had slept. Couldn’t have asked for better service. No other issues whatsoever

• Louise (8/5): Great Location Near Beautiful Beaches. Limited Dining Options Close By - It's a great location, just 10 minutes walk from the beach. Sandown Beach is a beautiful and clean beach. The location is also just a 15-minute drive from the even better (in our opinion) beach town of Shanklin. Shanklin village is sweet, and the beach and facilities are great. You also have Shanklin Chine and some nice beach front restaurants. The property is semi-detached, and outside the property is a nice grass area where we played football and tennis with the kids. The resort is quiet, with people keeping themselves to themselves. There didn't seem to be many good quality eateries in the immediate area (i.e. walking distance). Obviously, this is subjective. The owners do provide a detailed welcome pack with a list of eateries that we didn't have time to explore. The chalet bedrooms are quite snug. It's wasn't a problem for us, but it might be for those with limited mobility.
