Guest Reviews
- Joan (10/5): Highly recommend - Convenient for family visits and such friendly staff. Cosy and clean. Breakfast was available in the room ready for the next morning. Toast, croissants, serial, fresh fruit with a full fridge. Couldn’t fault it.

- robinson (8/5): Excellent, we will hopefully return when visiting friends. Food in restaurant was exceptional. - The continental breakfast provided was excellent. Plenty of choice and good quality. something to cover the window over the door as couldn't shut out the light.

- Hayley (5/5): Enjoy the atmosphere of the pub and the food served found accommodation very basic not happy about breakfast a little bi - Friendly pub, amazing evening food Only basic continental breakfast and offer of an omelette, they don’t state that there is no full cooked breakfast, door was hard to get open and was very loose, shower was hard to get going and the showerhead was not very good
- Gregg (10/5): -
- Christine (6/5): We slept well it was quiet which was great - Very basic just cereal and sliced bread for toast . No fresh fruit . Omelette offered . Good coffee Breakfast had to be at 9
- Lisa (8/5): Very good - Great location and good sized rooms. For the price, a cooked breakfast should be included. Only cereal, toast with tea and coffee. Omelette offered but not everyone likes Omelette.
- Alasdair (10/5): Friendly and clean, good food with plenty of parking 👍 - Ideal, large room and a good breakfast. Friendly place to stay at.

- Anonymous (2/5): Very poor - Bed not too bad Asked for a Vat receipt 3 times, still not provided one.

No food served until Wednesday onwards
Overall poor
- Bazfran (8/5): We would stay again as it was convenient to where we wanted to be. - A little expensive for for what you got. Sunday roast was excellent. Brekfast was a choice of cerial and toast. Although we were offered an omlette. Room clean, basic ,but for a two night stay it was fine. No food on Monday and Tuesday . A popular local pub. Breakfast could have had a bit more choice.eg.yogurt and some fruit would have been good.
- René (4/5): Disappointing - Staff were really friendly Not the cleanest of places
- 55 (8/5): A one night stay in the Woodmans Cottage - Friendly staff, clean room, comfortable bed, good shower and good location as close to relatives. Some instructions re how the hearting works. It was cold so turned up thermostat and went for a meal in the pub. Came back after 3 hours and room was too hot, maybe the heating is on a timer? Took a long time to cool down as well insulated. Didn't know the bathroom tower rail heater switch was under the bedroom table. A fried breakfast would have been good, only a choice of omelette or poached eggs after the cereals.
- Martin (9/5): Superb -
- Linda (10/5): The staff were very friendly and made us feel welcome from the minute we arrived and even took us to the wedding recepti - Very welcoming and helpful staff
- Simpson (7/5): Good - The room was very nice. A bit noisy from people sitting outside in garden in the evening.
- Scott (10/5): Exceptional -
- Samantha (10/5): Polite.very friendly and helpful very clean rooms - Very clean and modern Could do with a fry up on the menu for breakfast
- Sarah (3/5): Nice room but awful location of rooms, next to a very rowdy pub, had about 3 hours sleep. - Clean and comfortable rooms The rooms were situated in the carpark/garden of the pub, the night we stayed the venue played loud music until 3am with drunk idiots virtually outside our bedroom screaming and shouting from when we returned at approx 9pm until past 3am the following morning.
- Patrick (8/5): Very good -
- 1974sutton (1/5): Check for late night parties! - The room was fine, nice size and everything you need I was staying here with my son as he had a football tournament the next morning. the pub had a very loud party that night and it went on till 3 in the morning so we had a very bad nights sleep, if I would have known that when booking i wouldn't have booked.
- Roman (10/5): Perfect thank - Everything very good Nothing to say
- Yvonne (8/5): Comfortable and very clean -
