• Pickering (10/5): Good start to our holiday at a small town below Etna - Delightful and helpful host! Nicely appointed room. Centrally located in small, quiet town with a few amenities but not a bustling centre. Close to Etna - a few minutes (15?) drive away to the Etna Base Station where you get the funicular to the next stage up the volcano. As far as we could see Zeferana lacks a choice of good restaurants - but we still managed to eat and drink OK!

• Simon (10/5): Great apartment 30 minutes from Etna 1900 - Nice clean, modern apartment in the loft of the building. All essentials were available and a small terrace provided a nice outside space to sit. Our host met us at the agreed time and gave us all the information we needed and also put us in touch with an excellent guide to do Etna tours. Breakfast was up the road at a cafe which had a nice selection of pastries. There is a fairly tight spiral staircase up to the apartment - it was fine for us, but don't bring large suitcases!! Also some low points in the ceilings. - watch your head!!
• Jürgen (6/5): Schön aber schmerzhaft :) - Die Wohnung liegt unweit des Zentrums von Zafferana Etnea. Das Gesamte Haus und auch die Wohnung sind sauber und modern gestaltet sowie gut ausgestattet. WIFI funktionierte einwandfrei. Die Kommunikation funktioniert über Apps insbesondere WatsApp reibungslos. Der Vermieter ist nett und hilfsbereit. Das Frühstück wird in einem fußläufig erreichbaren Kaffee eingenommen. Wir hatten das Deluxe Apartment gebucht. Leider hatten wir übersehen, dass es sich um eine Mansardenwohnung handelt. Ein Durchlaufhöhe in der gesamten Wohnung unter 1,70m führte zu ständigen Kopf-Balken-Türrahmen-Kontakten, da die Hindernisse nicht ausreichend markiert waren. Im grunde musste man sich die gesamte Zeit gebückt bewegen um nicht Gefahr zu laufen irgendwo anzustoßen. Auch der Zugang über eine enge Wendeltreppe war gewöhnungsbedürftig. Der Ausblick vom der Terrasse aufs Meer wiederum konnte nur im Stehen genossen werden. Die Wohnung ist für kleinere und sportliche Menschen sicherlich gut geeignet.

• Scott (9/5): Neat, Clean and Well Located B&B - Property was either recently fully renovated or recently constructed - contemporary design. Bathroom and shower were spacious, which has not always been the case as we have been traveling through Sicily. Property manager was engaged, helpful and spoke english fluently. The Air Conditioniong situation could use improvement. Property manager warned us that the air conditioning (a "central air" type system?) often took extended period to start operating and chill the room. This was what we experienced on the first day/night. On the second night we were unable to get it to work at all though - so resorted to opening the windows.
• Jérôme (10/5): Top! - Tout est parfait. L'accueil et l'accès à l'appartement est facile. Cette location est neuve et très bien entretenue. Bouteilles d'eau dans le frigo et très proche pour accéder à l'Etna. Pour info, la pizzeria Belvédère propose des supers pizzas pas chères et est très proche de l'appartement. On a dû le quitter😂

• Artur (5/5): Ok for sleepover on your way to Etna, but don’t expect anything special - Location close to Etna It’s stated that they provide a breakfast, but in reality it’s a voucher for a coffee shop in town for only one croissant and a coffee( not even a bottle of water) what they “forgot to mention during check in”. Was forced to argue there about it and in the end paid extra to have at least arancino (although money were compensated by the owner when I wrote them about this situation).

Nosotros teníamos auto lo que nos fue muy cómodo para movernos ya que la playa más cerca estaba a 30min. Darío nos alquiló cochera cerrada también por un adicional de 5euros la noche. Lo recomendamos! Nada

• Tufani (10/5): il soggiorno è stato perfetto - Abbiamo soggiornato per 5 notti e siamo rimasti davvero soddisfatti. La stanza era molto accogliente, pulita e ben curata, con tutto ciò che serve per sentirsi a proprio agio. L’atmosfera era tranquilla e rilassante, ideale per riposarsi dopo le giornate trascorse fuori. L’host è stato super gentile, sempre disponibile e attento a ogni nostra esigenza, facendoci sentire come a casa. Un soggiorno davvero piacevole, che consigliamo a chiunque cerchi comfort e ospitalità.

• A. (10/5): Exceptional - We staid in the apartment, a brand new structure in an attic, very well insulated. The bed was comfortable, the bathroom and shower was pretty good, the kitchen had everything you need to cook a full meal (which we didn't do because there were very nice restaurants around). Our tour to Etna was amazing, which by the way we booked directly with the Funivia. Maybe there's more night life in Nicolosi, but we did not really need it.

• Ralitsa (8/5): Very good - The location was great, in a beautiful town, close to Etna. The room was modern with comfy beds. The included breakfast at a nearby cafe was very good.

• Elitsa (10/5): Definitely worth staying at the property. I will return here🤗 - It was very clean, comfortable and the room was spacious and very beautifully furnished. The host was very helpful and kind. He even tried to find some forms for me for making cannoli at home which he hasn’t had to. I have chosen a room with sea view and it was stunning. When I opened my eyes I saw so beautiful 🌅 sunrise. It was gorgeous. There is a free place for parking your car outside. There isn’t anything that I didn’t like
• Michael (10/5): Best place to stay near Mount Etna. - The apartment was amazing! Suited us perfectly. It was very close to the main square, with eating places within walking distance. A local supermarket was close by too. So grateful for the bottles of water that were stored in the fridge and the extra toilet rolls! Happy with everything.

• Selina (10/5): Exceptional - Very clean and modern place. Everything you need is there. It is close to Zafferana's little center and a perfect spot to start your volcano adventures. The host Dario booked a guide for an Etna tour for us, that was also so friendly and kind. So we had an amazing day and also some time to relaxe and enjoy the area around Zafferana. Nothing to complain about ☺️
