Обшарпанная стена, в окне вид на решетки (в описании указано что вид на достопримечательности), унитаз не смывает нормально

- Laura (1/5): Disgusting - Close to airport Staff was rude and doesn't speak any English, there were workers smoking in the lobby, the room was not clean and smelled like old cigarette smoke
- Lynn (1/5): Bad but cheap. - The location opposite the airport is great, however, the Yaou Hotel is probably the dirtiest hotel I have stayed in and the lady at reception is the angriest person I have met in a long time.
No English spoken at all.
It’s really bad, but it’s cheap. Very unclean.
The person at reception exhibited a lot of anger.
That was before we even attempted to start a conversation.

- Shehzad (9/5): Superb -
- Irfan (9/5): Superb -
- Jeffrey (5/5): Passable - Location was good. Prices are reasonable. Staff do not speak English at all. It is dishonest to claim they do.
When I enquired online in English, they replied in Chinese and I had to translate their messages.
When I arrived, the reception also did not speak English at all.
I showed them my ID and arrived on the hour of my booking. But I had problems on arriving as I was expecting to pay with a credit card for the room, they did not have eftpos facilities - not their fault here. But when I asked for help if there was a nearby place to exchange money, or just wanted to use a toilet before I walked back to the airport as I was tired from the flight, they did not even try to use a translator on their phone and I was pointed outside - there was no effort or attempt to try and use a translator. I wasn't sure if they were just gesturing me to leave because I didn't have cash on hand, but it was lazy.
After I returned with cash, they put me in a random room that was not the one I booked. Having access to the wifi and internet I was able to translate questions, and they finally started to use their own translator on their phone (which they could have used in the beginning when I needed help), and claimed they did not have a booking. I had to load my booking to prove I had one before they checked and put me in the right room.
- Cross (3/5): Poor -
- Todd (4/5): It was okay. 3 minutes from airport - No breakfast It was only $18 a night so I didn't expect a lot. However I did expect the rooms not to smell of cigarette smoke. I changed my first room because it stunk. Second room was better but not much. I noticed there was an ashtray in the bedroom so I guess it was a smoking hotel.

- Hannaa (7/5): Good -
- Barry (6/5): OK served purpose for early flight - Close to airport.
No breakfast.
Chinese staff. Hard to communicate
- Richard (8/5): Easy overnight stay for morning flight. - I booked this place as it was close to the airport. It took me 5 minutes to walk there. Once the Air Conditioning got going, it was amazing. The WiFi worked well. There was some English spoken, but not much. Some of the menus in the room did not have an English translation. They did not take card at reception.

- Lor (4/5): Fair - location near to airport Facilities no TV provided and breakfast
- Ali (7/5): Good -
- Ganesh (8/5): Very good -
- Miriam (4/5): Convenient for some hours rest before a flight - It’s just in front of the airport entrance It was super hot and dated
- Kristine (6/5): Pleasant -
- Mary (4/5): Glad we were only in for a few hours. Would not recommend this hotel and would never stay again. - Location Although this Hotel indicates they have Air Conditioning in their rooms, they do NOT! They have heat pumps but no matter what you adjust the temperate to it does not change. We tried 2 different rooms and neither worked. I believe they have the AC mode shut off. We suffered through the night and were happy we had a 4:00am departure. Also got attitude when trying to deal with no AC

- Ullah (5/5): Passable -
- Philip (1/5): Booking.com should remove them - horrible - Location to airport Everything
It was disgusting with staff chain smoking in reception.
Rooms are filthy and stink of smoke. The AC filters are full of cigarette smoke pumping into the room.
They didn't work properly so turned it off so I could breathe.
No one speaks English mainly mandarin.
They ripped us of 20usd for transport we didn't get.
Rude and obnoxious.
Fortunately we only had $12 hours there
- Ullah (5/5): Passable -
- Mark (8/5): Strategic location, good price - 1-Very near to the airport, however the crossing between the airport and them has no visible traffic lights but 6 lanes at the minimum. So do a cheap tuktuk ride or a city tour should end there. 2-The room was big enough, I recommend Deluxe with the amenities and quite good level of cleanliness. It was quiet, however from outside there may be noise from other guests, good to prep with earplug. For a night it is definitely a good bet vs the price. 3-I was surprised on a good way because of the big amount of power input and usb plugs. 3-The AC was working well and for me it was never stopping, as well the shower was good, besides true, as others told; both needs a bit of technical ability and understanding how they work. For example, to pull the small plastic at the bottom of the heater, etc... 4-Not negative, not positive just a note: there was a full power outage, I inserted a picture where to turn back the system again, at least in the room. 1-There is a big stain, probably because of the water, very visible on the wall. Not sure if that is good for a longer term for the air and health. Even more that the fresh air just can come via the AC.
2-I did not keep the receipt, just threw
it into the bin, then it was asked to give back at the checkout... The receptionist tried to recover it from the litter bin too... So it seems it is important for them, despite booking.com has all info in our case.
She said: 'Next time please do not throw it out.' What I said - as more fair -: 'Next time please tell us to store that.' Not sure if because of revenge, but I got my 5USD deposit back in local currency... I just noticed it at the airport, so be aware if you would not be around make a good day for the duty free. :D
3-The receptionists might speak English better and to be somewhat even more kind. Until they work at a place minutes from an international airport, it is more than useful. It will be better for the business too. Maybe the 20k local money would be theirs too, time to time. Nevertheless, what to say in some countries where the airport staff neither speaks English at all... What to expect... I am neither a native EN, but at least trying my best to communicate.
