Guest Reviews
- Robert (9/5): - Perfect location, comfortable accommodation and a great view.
- Lester (8/5): -
- Ramatlapeng (7/5): Better staying it is next to the road, beach nd Checkers - View is great The safety of the balcony

- Paul_from_Australia (8/5): Practical location - A central location in the heart of town within walking distance to the train station, cafes, beach and shops. It is easy to walk to St James Bay or Kalk Bay. Practical space with plenty of light and storage. Apartment sits just above the main road so during the day at different times can get noisy.
The old metal door security gate is old, the door to the apartment doesn't sit flush in the frame and moves when the wind blows which is annoying and the door lock is flimsy, none of the keys operated the second security lock.
The balcony is not exclusive use, it is shared by other residents so multiple times other people walked past the unit, there is no security door on the glass sliding door to the balcony.
There weren't any spare blankets or throw rugs provided in the apartment
The stove/oven is an unusual combination of electric oven with gas cooktop but powered by a gas bottle under the cupboard which didn't feel super safe.
There are no fly screens on the windows so if you open them anything can fly in.
In the early morning the living room is a sweat box as there are no curtains on the large windows in living room to try filter the sun, later morning or afternoon is lovely.
Car parking is not covered it is a 'first come first serve' basis in a small lot outside the building.
The building is a little tired & dated. The apartment has been refreshed but does have its quirks with poor finishing to the kitchen or bathroom, think of it as a practical stay not a luxury one.
In the bathroom the combo bath/shower seems like a good idea until you try get in and out of it, there are three large metal hooks on the wall that can be dangerous if you slip, no bath anti-slip mat was provided it had to be requested.
You get given a set of keys with 9 different ones on it so that are not labelled so it is a lottery as to what does what.
There is a slight mouldy smell in the bathroom and kitchen it looks like there is water damage to the walls.
Water in the kitchen was either luke warm or cold so made washing difficult, there is no dish washer and the sink is in an unusual position in the corner you can't stand directly in front of it.

- Jenita (1/5): Absolutely disappointed. We booked but could not stay at this property after seeing the condition of the building, I rea - Run down, dilapidated building. Gate was kept open by a brick. Pics led me to believe that the property is amazing.
- Vuyi (8/5): I wish it could have been longer - The apartment was clean, fully equipped and easy to access. Thank You Because the apartment is right at the entrance gate, we could hear all the noise of the tenants in the building and the banging of the door and gate...it was actually disturbing. Some come late making noise, screaming, gate opening and making noise...At some point we actually thought people are breaking into the apartment..
The gate noise disturbed my kids, they had to move into our bedroom and sleep with us.
- Roy (1/5): Ripped off - The location was ok They charge you R200 per day but they didn't service the flat once. We had to provide our own replacement toilet rolls. They only service it on exit, which amounts to R1000 for 1.5 hours work.
- Meaca (10/5): -
- Hanani (8/5): An amazing stay. - Loved the location as it was a walking distance from the beach
- Vinood (10/5): - The tiles are too slippery in the bathroom.
- Gavin (6/5): a well equipped and decorated unit with a nice view. Just a pitty about the negatives listed above. - The property was spacious, comfortable and well equipped. The lounge window overlooking Main Road and the sea needs a curtain or blind. The front door and security gate were extremely noisy with the occupants coming and going until late at night and then again early in the morning. The worse possible position for the unit. 😟
- Lynn (10/5): A Hidden Gem ... - What a gem, central to restaurants, the beach and beautiful views from the balcony. Everything within walking distance. Has all necessary amenities. We'll done to staff and Management for excellent service. Had the pleasure of meeting Nadia, Liam and Jody.....all of them are AWESOME. Will definitely be back Nothing not to like...everything was great, tx
- Lynn (10/5): A Hidden Gem... - To management....your team rocks 💯 Everything was Great...Nadia's assistance with check-in, accommodating us earlier; and overall friendly service, thank you. The place is Cozy and Centrally placed. Close to restaurants and everything within walking distance. Will definitely come back .... That we had to leave......can't find anything to dislike
- Leonardina (9/5): Superb - Amazing stay!
- Kamalie (10/5): Exceptional - I liked the location.
Staff was friendly.
Any issues were dealt with in quick time Nothing
- Charlie (8/5): Fun, Sunny, beach filled stay. - It is a lovely bright apartment, walking distance to beach, shops & restuarants. It was beautifully clean and the facilities were good- nice towels, good coffee and great telly. Lounge was very light and filled with big windows. Sadly without curtains it was tricky to work on a computer there with the sun beaming in. I worked in the bedroom instead.
On our last night there, we opted for shopbought pizza to cook in the oven but realised a bit late there were no oven trays. We flagged this with the owners the next day but they had no idea that night. We didn't bother them when we realised this as it was too late for them to do anything about it. We just made a plan with the pizza box.
Currently there is construction happening next to the building- it actually wasn't that annoying but you definitely notice it when you come & go.
- Robert (7/5): Not what we expected - It was well equipped, clean and spacious. Close to shops and restaurants. There is a building site next door and the builders took up the parking spaces so we were forced to park across the very busy main road. The builders could also see into the apartment so there was reduced privacy. I understand the security issues in South Africa but the multiple locked and barred entrances was intimidating.
- Anonymous (8/5): Very good -
- Thethile (8/5): Very good - The amazing views Noise from neighbours
- Cynthia (9/5): I would book this property again. - The location and the view of this apartment is amazement I wish I had people with me, the apartment is so spacious, a lot bigger than I expected.
- Anton (8/5): Beautiful and clean. Close to restaurants, shops and the beach. - The property was clean and the kitchen well equipped. A bit noisy due to a new building being constructed next door.
- Boitumelo (8/5): Very good - The apartment was well equipped with everything we needed, was spacious, my son and I had ample space, comfortable beds, loved the separate bathroom and toilet rooms.
The views are amazing from the living room and both bedrooms The following was an issue for me, only because I was traveling with my 6 year old son, had I been alone or with friends wouldn't have been a problem...
Parking the car not in the apartment complex, but across a busy main road....probably because there was a construction taking place in the next buiding
Having to cross a main road and a railway track to get to the beach
