• Joanne (8/5): - The view from the living room was one of the most views I have seen (and I travel all over the world). I enjoyed waking up to it daily! The bedrooms were quite small, however the view was just parking lot!!!!! . I also wish there had been a washer and dryer – I'm used to apartments always having them. But my fault for not checking ahead. Also -- make sure you BOOK YOUR TRANSFER-- there is not "public transportation" and if the bus is sold out your out of luck (IT WONT EVEN STOP!)! We also couldn't get a taxi AS they were booked out for the entire day. Wasted hours just to get to flam (which is where most tours leave from!).

• Solveig (8/5): Sehr schöne Aussicht - Unser Apartment ( Nummer 10 )hatte einen sensationellen Blick über den Fjord. Es war gemütlich, modern und gut ausgestattet. Das Schlafzimmer hatte, anders als bei den Bildern suggeriert, keinen Blick auf den Fjord. Wir schauten auf den Parkplatz. Es hatte außerdem die Größe eines Schuhkartons und man konnte das Fenster nicht öffnen, was die Einengung noch verstärkte. Die Matratze und der Topper waren für unseren Geschmack viel zu weich.

• Jacqueline (9/5): Even relaxen - Keurig nieuw appartement met een kitchenette met kookplaat en vaatwasser. Ook stond er koffie, thee en vaatwasmiddel. Warme douche met lekkere straal. Prachtig uitzicht op het Aurlandsfjord. Diverse mogelijkheden om te zitten. Grote kussens op het bed waardoor je ook lekker op bed kon zitten. Parkeren konden we onder het gebouw. Lift aanwezig. Vriendelijke ontvangst bij receptie. Snelle wifi. Er is geen tv of radio aanwezig. Voor ons prima maar als je dit wel wil zelf meenemen

The apartment is beautiful, very stylish, cosy and clean with magnificent views There were a few kitchen utensils missing such as small cutting knives and a cheese grater
• Yu-Lin (8/5): Fantastic fjord location and wonderful staff - The location right next to the fjord and fjord sauna is incredible - it was so convenient to walk right back to the room and jump straight into the shower! The views of the fjords from the apartment are absolutely stunning. A huge thank you to the hotel staff, especially Paula, who was incredibly nice and patiently helped me call Fjord Sauna. As a small suggestion, it would be great if they could put the local bus timetable at the front desk - that way guests can easily check it, and the staff wouldn't have to answer the same question every day! The only downside to the view is that random people walk right in front of the room outside, so privacy was a little bothering at times. Also, while the light switches look very fancy, they aren't the most practical or ideal to use.

Le seul point à améliorer est de mettre plus de couverts dans le studio (seulement 2 assiettes, 2 couverts), mais avec le lave vaisselle c’est correct

• Yingli (8/5): 总体入住比较满意，多人入住需要注意洗澡水需要间隔使用。 - 住宿紧挨湖边，清晨躺在床上就可以看到湖光山色。房间整洁，床品干净且非常新。浴室很大且明亮。 酒店是落地窗，住在一楼景色无敌，但是应该把窗前靠近房间的前的小路限制行人通行，不然行人贴着落地窗路过房间，房子里人穿睡衣全被一览无余。另外与楼上的隔音还需要改进一下，楼上搬椅子，开门，或者比较重的走路都能听到。洗澡是电热水器，多人入住需要等待热水器再次加热，这点在入住前有提示就好了。

• Divya (10/5): Great location and very functional apartment - The view from the apartment is excellent!! Very calm and relaxed. Kitchen is fully equipped, beddings are comfortable. Neat and clean room. Great location. Shuttle stop to Flam is 2 mins walk, also a supermarket. Even the tour operators to view points dropped us directly at the hotel on their way back to Flam - this hotel is on the way to Flam from major attractions around. Even some main city highlights such as Aurland shoe factory, Aurland church are 2 mins from the hotel. Bathroom is also well equipped, lotions, soaps etc. Very expensive. No cupboards/shelves to store clothes etc. it becomes quite congested with suitcases all around - apartment wasn’t very spacious either.

• Jeanne Alice (10/5): Stunning place to stay on the fjord and 10 minute drive to Flam - The view was stunning on the fjord, good coffee machine, comfortable bed, no television which was fantastic, bathroom roomy with good hot water. It would be amazing if the staff could give advice prior to arrival or upon booking as to how to get to Flam railway station the most efficient way as we struggled and felt stressed due to the railway times we booked in advance. We could’ve booked the bus from Oslo and back to Aurland instead of Flam for our stay as well if we had information regarding the area prior to our journey there. Hopefully this will help other guests in the future.

• ANNA (9/5): Il sognefjord è un posto meraviglioso e Aurland una base perfetta per viverlo godendo appieno della sua bellezza e tranq - la vista meravigliosa dal balcone, la pulizia, gli arredi moderni, il materasso molto comodo, la posizione, il parcheggio con le colonnine di ricarica elettrica per l’automobile proprio accanto alla struttura le tende purtroppo non abbastanza oscuranti alle finestre, in una località dove in primavera diventa buio oltre le 23 e albeggia verso le 5, rendono la stanza troppo illuminata anche di notte (in aggiunta alle luci di cortesia poste sopra alle porte di ingresso degli appartamenti di fronte, ben visibili dalle nostre finestre)

• Marie (9/5): Stunning area to stay in. - Such a beautiful peaceful place to stay although our view was limited as we were in the building at the back of the Fjord but we could still get a view. The lady who checked us in was very nice. I'm sorry I didn't get her name but she is certainly an asset for Wangen Apartments. We didn’t have a toaster in our room so she source one for us. Limited cooking facilities in a studio apartment as no oven, but there is much more cooking facilities in a 1 bedroom. I wish we had booked a 1 bedroom.

• Douaa (8/5): En gros, nous sommes satisfaits de notre séjour. Une mention spéciale à Paola qui a été très aidante et aimable. - Appartement moderne et agréable. L’emplacement est super. Très proche du supermarché et de la boulangerie. Nous avons eu une chambre vue sur montagne mais nous avons tout de même eu une petite vue sur le fjord La cuisine n’est pas bien équipée. Quelques ustensiles essentiels manquants (épluchoir, couteau fait tout, grille pain…). Les rideaux dans le salon ne sont pas du tout occultants, ce qui n’est pas pratique pour la personne qui utilise le canapé lit…
• Ioanna (10/5): What a great stay! - Excellent location in a great area. The ferry for the fjords leaves just outside the hotel. The sauna is also just next to eat. The bus to the viewpoint as well. There is a supermarket and a bakery just around the corner. One of the best morning views in all Norway. Highly recommended.

• Poppy (10/5): 1st Class Experience - This place far exceeded my expectations, the buildings are beautiful, with the most amazing location.and close view to fjords. Love the big windows, huge cushions on the bed - i want some at home!! modern lay out is 1st class, clearly no expense spared, very warm and cosy. They key code entery system has been so easy to use and very convenient, parking great lots of space. We are only here for 1 night stop over, room.34 and have cooked 2 meals, in the little kitchen no problem and sat out on the balcony to enjoy the breathtaking view.The area is very lovely and we look forward to visiting flam railway today. I cant fault anything.

• Kevin (8/5): Beautiful location but isolated. Research before you go. - Very clean, comfortable, nice bad. Anna was very helpful, we asked for a toaster, and she gave it to us. Not much work space in the kitchen, but the property was nice but not what I expected. When I booked I thought I had booked a fjord view as all the pictures give you the impression that’s what you’re booking. I had booked a Mountain View apparently and I felt a little let down particularly as you pay top dollar for this place. Make sure you look properly and book accordingly. The shuttle bus to Flam only runs twice a day and taxis are expensive

• Dimitrios (10/5): - WANGEN Apartments exceed our expectations from all perspectives. First of all, I’d like to highlight the staff—especially Paola, who was incredibly kind and considerate at reception. Our train from Oslo to Fläm (via Myrdal) was delayed by nearly 2 hours as a result we lost our connection train at Myrdal to get to Fläm – we were provided by the train operator Vy the bus connection from Voss train station to Fläm. I wrote an e-mail from the delayed train to WANGEN Apartments and Paola called me, provided instructions, spoke to the bus driver that was taking us from Voss to Fläm asking him to drop us to Aurland and not Fläm – directly to WANGEN Apartments (rather than dropping us to Fläm, which is around 10 km from Aurland and required a taxi service of 500-600 NOK). Paola also inquired about our ferry tour and suggested that we call her at 08:00 so that she can contact ferry operator Norway’s Best and arrange our pick up from Aurland dock (which did not require us to take the taxi Fläm to take the same ferry). Thank you, Paola! You are excellent!!! The apartment complex is brand new and of very high quality. We stayed on the 2nd floor overlooking the church – the kitchen-living room area was spacious enough with a sofa that converted into double bed, the bedroom was very spacious (I assume around 20 meters). Bathroom – spacious and very well equipped: comfortable shower cabin, premium sanitary equipment – being from the real estate – I was very much surprised to see Geberit Monolith toilet installation unit, which costs well over 1.500 Euro. Only too small suggestions – but I mean them purely in a constructive way: the nozzles of the shampoo and shower gel in the shower cabin are a bit too short compared to the mall mounted base they are placed into, which makes it a bit uncomfortable to squeeze the shampoo/shower get. Also, the sofa in the living room when converting into a double bed does not have most comfortable mattress.

• Viktoriia (10/5): Will definitely choose this place again. - Very good apartment and place. View was just amazing. We got proposal and discount to upgrade room and it was very good idea. Room is just amazing comfy bed, bathroom has good space. Kitchen well equipped. The only thing what was missing for me, is to be able to open window in bedroom for fresh air. Everything else is perfect!
