• Marzia (10/5): Very warm welcome by the local community - We were excellently welcomed in Brezje! The host was very helpful, answering promptly to our questions by email before our stay. He stored our bikes safely for the night in a dedicated storage room. The place is very quiet and clean, with comfy beds and friendly people around. Would definitely recommend!

• Megan (10/5): Perfect place to stay for a Brezje pilgrimage stop. - The breakfast was amazing and you can see the church from the hotel windows. The room and bathroom were huge and the bed was very comfortable. Ales was so kind and welcoming.

• luigia (10/5): - Posizione ottima ( 14 Min dal lago di bled) Sono stata accolta con pochissimo preavviso mentre ero di passaggio in una serata fredda e con la neve, la stanza era molto pulita, spaziosa ed accogliente, il parcheggio proprio accanto alle camere...e mi hanno anche preparato e servito in camera un'ottima zuppa con del vino per la cena!

• Bojan (10/5): Preporucicu prijateljima ako budu isli na taj kraj - Sa domacinom se vrlo lako sve moze dogovoriti. Smestaj je cist i uredan. Dva konja pasu odmah pored smestaja. Smestaj je relativno blizu svih glavnih lokacija i atrakcija i dobar je za bazu pa svaki dan na drugo mesto na obilazak.
• Stefanie (7/5): Für Zwischenstopp ok - Sehr freundliches Personal und toller Blick aus dem Zimmer. Alles sauber! Es gab kein Nachtlicht, nur Deckenlicht. Lesen im Bett unmöglich. Zimmer bestand aus einem Doppelstockbett und einem Schreibtisch mit Stühlen davor. Keine richtige Sitzgelegenheit. Es gab den Hinweis auf viele Mücken, aber kein Fliegengitter an einem der Fenster. Insgesamt sehr karg, was bei der schönen Lage und der Größe des Zimmers wirklich schade ist. Frühstück war ebenso karg. (Man muss es am Abend vorher vorbestellen) Für eine Zwischenübernachtung ist es ok, für mehr eher nicht. Schade bei dem wirklich sehr, sehr nettem Personal, unter anderen Umständen wären wir gehen wiedergekommen.
• Thomas (9/5): Ideal not just for pilgrims - The large guesthouse with its rooms not only invites you to stay overnight, but also offers a restaurant with a wonderfully selected menu, exquisite wines, and breakfast upon request. The host welcomed me personally and showed me to the spacious, clean, and modernly furnished room, which offered a direct and wonderful view of the famous basilica, which lies directly across the street (the bells stop ringing from 10 p.m. to 6 a.m.). The room could have been decorated a bit more stylishly. As it was, it seemed very sober.

• Dmitriy (9/5): - Don't worry about the comments about the church's bells. The owner installed good windows. I didn't hear them, and wouldn't even know if he didn't tell me in advance. The only reason you can end up in that place, is if everything else closer to your destination is booked. But it is a good 6th option.

Overall great value for money. Bear in mind that the accomondation is next to the church so you can expect a early alarm on sunday morning!

• Ivancsó (10/5): Exceptional - The apartent is located next to the church. It's the best choice for the pilgrims. The rooms are clean and comfortable.

• Artur (10/5): A very nice stay - A very nice place. Our room was very spacious, clean, comfortable. Nice personel, good price. Good location, near (by car) to Blad lake and Vintgar. Good base to go sightseeing main Slovenia attractions.
• Mary (10/5): Excellent value right at the Shrine - The property is exactly across the street from Brezje. There is a cafe on the ground level which was closed the night I stayed. Free parking. Very clean. I didn't mind, but just know there is no elevator and it's easily 15 steps to the 1st floor. No AC, so just opened the windows to let the air circulate. I prefer black out drapes, so I wore an eye mask.
