- Madden (9/5): Apart from the above issues, our stay was good. It was not for a holiday, but because our own property is undergoing vit - The water view, & watching the ducks, swans & seagulls which were ‘swanning’ around! The stairs! Both my son and I have disabilities & the two flights of stairs up to the apartment were far too much for me as I have some rather challenging health issues, so I only left the property twice in the month we were there. Sadly I didn’t notice on the site that there was no lift! Also, the tumble dryer on the combo washer/dryer didn’t work, which was quite important to us.
- Jacqueline (9/5): - Comfortable clean space lovely and warm everything we needed including parking. Peaceful location even though in town centre. Great views and close to everything we needed There wasn't anything we didn't like although the couch could do with a bit more padding as it must have been well used. However this didn't mean that we didn't like it.
- NICHOLAS (10/5): The apartment itself was perfect nice and relaxing. And I will come back again. - The beds were very hard and could have been a bit more comfortable for your back while sleeping and I could not gain access to the recycling are to dispose of my rubbish when leaving the property so I had to leave the rubbish by some other bins but I did phone the landlord and inform him about this.
- alistair (9/5): -
- Philip (9/5): Good location, close to the town, canal and river. - Location was ideal for our purpose of visiting family in the town.
Quite neighbourhood close to town facilities.
Very clean accommodation. Only one parking space allocated to the flat. Second car parked on adjacent street.
- Mark (9/5): - Location and views Nothing
- Sharron (6/5): -
- Stewart (9/5): Owners left a small welcome pack in the fridge, clean, tidy, spacious and a fantastic balcony to relax and unwind at the - Location was peaceful, amazing views of the basin Nothing if I’m honest.
- Julie (10/5): Perfection personified - Everything. Nothing. If I'm being picky, a lift would have been nice.
- Glenn William (9/5): Lovely apartment, lovely location with plenty to see and do. - Great location, plenty of eateries, nice walks.
Lovely to sit out on the balcony.
Apartment had everything we needed.
Tesco's nearby for supplies.
Welcome pack provided in fridge, nice gesture.
- cathy (9/5): Lovely apartment - Loved the size of the apartment. The 2 double bedrooms were a nice size, one with doors onto the balcony.
The modern kitchen was nicely resourced and had everything you would need ....just took some looking!!
The lounge with doors opening onto the balcony was a nice size and well decorated
We particularly liked the fact that there were some odds and ends of herbs and spices, fresh bread, milk, cheese and eggs as well as hot drinks all ready for us .
The Tesco is just around the corner.
We accessed a gennel (it had a code but a friendly person gave us this) that made it a very short walk down to the river and the angel pub.
We went to visit the safari park. It is so lovely and close.
The following day we took the short drive to the Severn Valley railway. Just felt a little concerned about one of the boards on the balcony that was a bit rotten making it a bit springy. Naturally this was very attractive to my 5 year old granddaughter and very worrying for her mum
As my elderly parents came in their car and we came in my car we gave them the parking space. We easily found parking the first day but nothing after we'd been out the following day.
- Simon (9/5): Riverview apartment Stourport - It met our requirements for somewhere comfortable to stay in an interesting location while meeting up with a wider family group Nothing
- Harpur (10/5): Great stay will definitely be back on our next visit to UK from Australia - Clean an cosy, quiet location but close to everything needed No lift in the building (not the properties fault)
- Angela (10/5): Absolutely loved it - It’s situated in a lovely area, very quiet and relaxing Nothing had everything we needed

- Joanne (9/5): Beautiful canal side modern flat with facilities - View over the canal basin Outside seating
- Whitehouse (8/5): Very good - I really enjoyed it and my daughter was very comfortable. The apartment was beautiful and clean and tidy. Just s very lovely stay. Highly recommend It was more then I wanted to spend on accommodation but that's not anyone's fault
- Anthony (10/5): Just great, after wrestling with the door code. After finding that the1st 0 was cancel it was easy - The cleanliness, the food awaiting us, the beds, the view, the location, the resturants. The toaster, very weak, took two cycles to light brown. Very comfy sofa, but very low making it a bit of a problem to get up, for 2 in their 80's.
- Keith (10/5): Great location great host - Everything There was nothing tondislike
- Katy (10/5): Exceptional visit to Stourport and stay at river view, would definitely return in the future - It was a beautifully presented flat in a beautiful part of town, lovely view from each of the windows. It was great to wake up to the sounds of ducks quacking again after living in a city for the last year. Wonderfully quiet location and just a short walk into town. Nothing
- Niknakno (10/5): A home away from home - The whole apartment was very well presented, welcoming and homely, would happily book to stay again.
- Jeremy (10/5): Exceptional - Perfect location, and really lovely, well equipped apartment. 100% will try to book as first option when visiting Stourport in the future. (As someone who grew up in town and is back often visiting family and friends)
- Kate (10/5): Perfect place for a trip to Stourport - A lovely place to stay! The location is perfect for going into town. The little touchs like milk and bread in the fridge were just fabulous. Really easy instructions on how to get into the apartment. Will definitely be booking again!
- Rupert (10/5): Perfect - Wow!!!!
Totally amazing
Thank you so much
- Daniel (10/5): Exceptional -
- Lynn (9/5): Superb -
- Tasha (8/5): Very good -
- Julian (9/5): Good fun shame about the weather - HJaving the whole appartment to ourselves A bit wobbly table
- Chris (8/5): This was our 2nd stay at the apartment - Location good Difficult for older people to get off the sofa! We didn't realise there wouldn't be bread and milk.
- Ellie (8/5): Very good -
- Alix (10/5): Exceptional -
- Rebecca (10/5): Exceptional -
- Tania (10/5): Cosiest of apartments, fab location and everything you may need. - The apartment is like a home away from home, the owners have gone above and beyond to provide what may be required during a short break there.
Beautifully decorated, cozy and comfortable.
A very quick walk in to town yet still a quiet and tranquil location. Slight smell from the bathroom, but did smell it it random spots around the complex so may not be easily sortable. However, still manageable.
- Anthony (10/5): Exceptional - Easy access and parking, excellent apartment with everything required.
Clear checking in instructions.
Overall a super experience. Uncomfortable bed in one of the rooms.
- Nicky (10/5): A lovely river apartment, suitable for our visit, thankyou , - Location beautiful and right by the canal , apartment perfect with a lovely view from the balcony, helpful owners when we needed them Getting in the door to the building, although the owners were able to assist us by phone
- Liz (7/5): Comfortable stay in a very quiet and well-equipped flat. - Scenic location. Very comfy and well-equipped flat. Needed more wine glasses (only 2).
- Dmitry (9/5): Superb -
- Foley (10/5): We loved the tasteful décor, comfortable bedrooms and the pretty lake outlook. -
- Gedd (10/5): Excellent venue and will definitely be booking again -
- Nicholas (9/5): Superb - I liked it because if I was staying in a hotel I would have to get up in the morning for a certain time for breakfast but staying in this apartment I could eat when I felt like it and I found it very relaxing. I would definitely book an apartment again. I am not complaining but I would have liked to have had a bit of cleaning cloth so I could clean all of the surfaces after cooking but apart from that everything was fine
- Pamela (10/5): Exceptional - Very convenient for our weekend beautiful apartment
- Kirsten (10/5): Exceptional - Lovely apartment with parking space.
Very clean and modern, would recommend, bedrooms a good size with comfy beds.
Milk in fridge was a nice touch. Didnt spoil it jst a suggestion
Towels like many places we have stayed at are not big enough.
I would suggest bath sheets this way ot meets everyones spec
- Nadia (10/5): Great little spot - Loved the view Alot of apartments in front view so felt a little revealed to everyone but nothing I would say that was bad.
- Kelly (9/5): Superb -
- Angela (10/5): A weekend in Stourport to watch hockey - Lovely location overlooking canal. Balcony. Owner very good with communication.
Walking distance to facilities. Nothing
- Jo (8/5): Great location, clean and host left us milk, juice, eggs & cheese in fridge which was a nice welcome - Clean, well equipped and nice view. Felt safe. Grill didn’t work, T.V needed to be reset. Needed diagram on which symbol to press on entry.
- Rex (10/5): Great - We did not understand the key lock safe, they came and showed us how it worked and how to lock it when we left
There also was food for us in the fridge which we used and replaced. I drew a cartoon in appreciation as REX the Australian cartoonist and left it for them.
- Steve (10/5): Perfect spot for a short break - Clear instructions and easy check-in. The apartment has it's own car parking space.
Comfortable space with well equipped kitchen including some essentials in the fridge (Thank you). All pots & pans that you need to prepare a meal should you decide to eat in. Comfortable lounge area to relax in, and balcony with a lovely view over the water area. Balcony catches the sun most of the day.
Comfortable bed and quiet neighbourhood guarantees a good nights sleep.
Conveniently located with just a short walk to supermarket, bars and eateries, local shops and historic canal basin attractions.
Would definitely be the first choice when we return to the area.
- Gareth (10/5): Something different... - The location was excellent, with a direct view over the water and local ducks! We were very grateful for some food essentials left in the fridge. The balcony looked out over the water and we could have eaten our meals out there if we wished. The accommodation was spotless and comfortable with all you might require for a visit provided. The televisions didn't seem to have the main Freeview channels, but that didn't spoil our break.
- Glenda (9/5): Superb - Clean and well equipped
Great value for money
- Gareth (8/5): A well-appointed, clean and comfortable apartment. - A nice, clean, well-appointed apartment with free parking and the wi-fi worked well. Apartment has views over the canal basin and is a short walk to pubs, restaurants, shops and the town. I think the beds were doubles; king size or twin beds would have been welcomed to allow a little more room. Nothing else of note, a very nice stay.
- Herbert (3/5): You could make it a stylish gem - The location is good We can‘t understand the positive reviews ! It was Not clean when we arrived, the table on the balcony hadn’t been wiped for ages. All the plates and bowls are mismatched, in the livingroom/kitchen are lots of knicknacks from the last century which nobody liked.
The beds should be for two persons? They are only 125 cm wide. No couple from the continent would buy those. And even in England we had wider beds than here. And we are slim people….
The wardrobes in the bedrooms are full of old things and mismatching and broken hangers. We think the owner should visit the flat himself and think about modernising and fixing broken handles on the cupboard in the living room.
The bathroom has no cupboard or anything useful to put your things in, so you have to carry everything you need to and fro. How very tiresome.
Luckily we only booked 3 nights, I would not recommend it.
- Chris (9/5): Nice apartment in a nice neighbourhood. - Nice spacious apartment, with a balcony and pleasant view of the canal basin. An unexpected bonus of some fresh milk, bread and fruit juice in the fridge, plus cleaning and washing-up products. Plenty of good places to eat out in the town to be followed by a pleasant walk along the canal or river footpaths. There is a church somewhere in the vicinity with a clock that chimes the hour, which meant we had to keep the bedroom window closed during sleeping hours.
- Rosalind (10/5): I have stayed here before, it is a great place to stay in. - It was a lovely touch that the owners always leave milk, butter, bread, orange juice and cheese in the fridge.
- Berenice (10/5): memorable trip we loved this place - lots of room, lovely view and close proximity to supermarket no kitchen plug
- Elaine (10/5): Exceptional - This apartment is absolutely lovely. Fully equipped with everything to make our stay comfortable and convenient. Excellent location for easy access to shops, bars and restaurants but still quiet, cosy and relaxing. We will definitely be back the next time we are in the area. Thank you to our gracious hosts. You made it all so easy.
- Brenda (7/5): Well situated Apartment - Well equipped apartment, spacious and clean. Good location for the town. Within walking distance of amenities, shops, park, fairground, river.
- Williams (10/5): Exceptional -
- Pauline (10/5): We loved this place - This is a fabulous apartment in a brilliant location. Very clean with comfy beds and everything you need for a really comfortable stay. It was lovely to have fresh milk and juice in the fridge on arrival. Situated right on the canalside, we loved sitting on the balcony watching the wildlife. It was so peaceful and quiet, we loved it. Communication with the hosts was quick and easy, as was check in. We only stayed a short time to attend a family wedding but will definitely come back to explore the area more. We just couldn't fault this place at all. Nothing at all.
- Chris (8/5): Value for money. - The apartment had all the facilities we needed for our short stay. The children liked watching the ducks from the balcony. It was easy to self check in and out. The location was quiet. We appreciated the milk, orange juice and teabags already at the property. Within a 2 minute walk to tesco. The property was cosy and warm meaning we didn't have to use the heating. There was always hot water available. The decor was modern. We had a nice view from the dining table. Attention to cleanliness (cobwebs on lights and around ceilings, someone prior to us had left an open pack of salami and cheese under the sofa and this hadn't been removed) also had crumbs in cutlery tray and the cupboard under the sink where the bin is was very dirty. The bedroom nearest the lounge has an extremely hard mattress. The 2 Reed diffusers in the lounge were very overpowering. The sugar canister needs the sugar replacing, coffee granules were in there.
- Sue (9/5): Superb -
- Anonymous (10/5): very enjoyable We we’re visiting for a funeral but the accommodation made our stay so pleasurable - clean and very well appointed
home from home and extra
facilities were superb nothing
- Sue (9/5): Superb -
- Emma (10/5): Exceptional - The apartment was very clean and really homely. Our children loved it so much. The beds where comfortable. We loved the extras that where. Would definitely book again.
- Sara (9/5): Superb -
- Mark (9/5): Superb -
- Sharon (10/5): Very good stay, comfortable and would definitely stay again. - Absolutely stunning apartment. Our engineers were only unhappy that their stay was so short! If we carry out works here again, they'd love to stay again.
- Alistair (10/5): would stay again which says it all - beautiful apartment. Everything you would need. essential food ie,. bread milk eggs left for us. Perfect. everything perfect
- Anonymous (9/5): Relaxing. - Quiet. Lovely views. Clean. Too many air fresheners and reed diffusers. The smells were over powering, particularly in the living room.
- Michael (10/5): Read the above - Central location, very quite , clean and tidy loved the views over the water would love to stay again if we ever come back to is area. Nothing
- Andrew (10/5): Exceptional - Great location, view over the basin complete with ducks, well equipped apartment
- Julia (10/5): Exceptional - We liked everything about the apartment. It was lovely.
- Clement (8/5): Very good -
- Allan (10/5): Exceptional - It was easy to walk into the town and cafes ,pubs and Tesco.
The property was very well furnished with a good choice of kitchen equipment.
Enjoyed sitting on the balcony watching the ducks.
Lots of interesting places to visit within a reasonable distance. We had some difficulty finding the right turning into the property but enquired at a local cafe
and then found it easily!
- Itz (10/5): wow just wow thank you so much we will be booking again - the location it was fantastic there’s nothing not to like it was beautiful
- Anne (8/5): I would definitely recommend this apartment for a stay in Stourport. - Apartment was really well appointed with lots of special touches, boardgames etc. Host Julie was very helpful (especially when I had trouble opening the key safe!). The only "down" was that the sun shines straight into the lounge room (and bedrooms) during the afternoons, making it very warm and meaning that you cannot use the balcony on a sunny afternoon.
- Jane (9/5): Lovely apartment in a good location. - Lovely location and a well equipped and comfortable apartment. We enjoyed breakfast overlooking the basin and a lovely sunshine week. We were able to take many trips out for good walks and exploring the area/local towns. There were a few odd noises within the building overnight which woke us up.
- Daniel (10/5): Exceptional - Excellent everything
