Maarten (10/5): Exceptional - This place is magical! The location feels remote, far away from the world. The drive over is beautiful, the estancia so picturesque, with horses and sheep wondering about. Laguna Verde is a stone's throw away, the mountains are visible from the very large living room window. There is a fireplace to complete the picture of a cosy getaway. Plenty of space, well equipped kitchen and comfortable beds. Can we please stay here forever?! Nothing - we loved it and will always remember this special place. When it is windy, the house is sqeaking a bit, but what to expect in Patagonia. Even that became part of the fond memory. Some people complained it is far removed from the main road, but it is only half an hour drive, a very nice drive at that. Plus, it makes it feel that extra little extra special when you're at the end of the road. You go here because you want to be here.
