• Viktor (10/5): - We stayed at Coco’s for two nights on our backpacking trip. It is not inconveniently far out of town and is situated beautifully right on the Tambopata river, with nature all around. Beyond the clean and comfortable rooms, well organized tour opportunities (our tour to Sandoval oxbow lake was great!) and a peaceful atmosphere, the very best part of our stay were our wonderful hosts: Samantha, Marco and Coco! They were amazingly attentive, helpful and warm at every stage. Generosity was their default, and they shared with us of their locally grown fruits, knowledge and culture. They even invited us to join local festivities. We recommend Coco’s strongly to anyone interested in exploring the Puerto Maldonado area! N/A
• Anushka (10/5): Host was like family - Wonderful location just outside Tambopata national park filled with wildlife. Host was absolutely amazing looked after us like family. Gave us different breakfasts every day and drove us to places at a cheaper cost than outside. No mosquito nets were needed as the top of the room was netted where insects could get in. Peaceful location in front of the river.
• Marcia (9/5): Estadía en Coco House, muy bien! - Muy tranquilo el lugar, bonito entorno, buenas instalaciones y el personal a cargo, en especial Coco y Gonzalo, unos maestros! Fue como estar en casa! Quizás un poco de privacidad de pieza a pieza, muy cercano a otros huéspedes.

• Marcus (10/5): Familiär geführte Lodge mit sehr aufmerksamen und freundlichen Gastgebern. - Der Aufenthalt war sehr schön. Die Lodge gibt es noch nicht so lange und hat nur wenige Zimmer/Apartements. Wir hatten das Glück, die einzigen Gäste zu sein. Der Besitzer, Señor Coco (Jorge), ist sehr freundlich und macht sehr gute Säfte von Früchten aus seinem Garten. Besonders gut war das Essen. Das Frühstück, das ja inklusive ist, war ausreichend und lecker. Zusätzlich hatte uns der Besitzer angeboten, dass wir Abends oder Nachmittags nicht in die Stadt müssten, um etwas zu Essen zu holen, sondern er das für uns erledigen könnte. Er kenne auch die besten Orte um Essen zu holen. Dieses Angebot nahmen wir dankbar an. Das Essen, welches er aussuchte, war typisch für die Region und sehr lecker. Es waren große Portionen, der Preis war mehr als fair und man brauchte sich um Hygiene keine Sorgen machen. Die Touren wurden von seinem Mitarbeiter Gonzalo organisiert - sympathisch und kompetent. Da die Lodge so klein ist, war es auch möglich, eine private Tour zu machen. Wenn man wie wir noch keine Touren im Vorhinein gebucht hat, kann man das entspannt am ersten Tag in der Lodge besprechen. Wir waren insgesamt sehr zufrieden und haben den Aufenthalt dort sehr genossen. Dementsprechend können wir die Lodge bedenkenlos weiterempfehlen.

• Carey (9/5): Tranquility and beauty next to the river - It was really lovely to stay at D'Coco house right on the Tambopata river, surrounded by the beautiful jungle. The bird sounds throughout the day making it extra special and tranquil. The kitchen was well equipped and I was happy to make my own meals, apart from the delicious breakfast and fresh juice which was served to me in the comfort of my room. My hosts Wally and Ricardo were very friendly and considerate and were always available to answer any questions. They also organised a taxi for me from Puerto Maldonado and back when it was time for me to leave. The bungalows are quite a drive outside of the town, and so it was really good to experience the quietness on the beautiful river bank. I was one of the first guests to enjoy this lovely place, and I think with a few small adjustments this D'Cocos House will be a very popular place to stay. I wish Wally and his team all the best with the future of D'Cocos
