Guest Reviews
- Antony (7/5): Was all ok annoying therewas no fix for teh wi fi its essentail these days - No Internet afvertised as such engineer could not fix it when called out
- Emma (4/5): Disappointing. - Location was lovely The glasses had lipstick on them, the hoover was broken, the dustpan was cracked, there were cobwebs everywhere, there was a broken ornament and the place didnt feel very clean
- Kevin (10/5): - Very peaceful, very comfortable
- Janet (9/5): Modern, comfortable and great view - Very spacious living area with a great view of the marshland and beyond. Even spotted some deer a couple of times. This was our third visit to the site, and third lodge, the largest so far. (We like to try out different lodges.) Parking was easy, and the lodge felt very new and modern with comfortable beds and a wonderful shower with plenty of hot water. When it got chilly the place heated up pretty quickly. Communication from the host re information, reminder of key code etc was very good too. There was an unpleasant whiff in the main bathroom, which seemed to be coming from the drain in the bath, and at times got so bad it permeated into the hallway.
- Andrea (9/5): Loved our stay would’ve liked to stay longer!! - Light airy and spacious. Very clean and comfortable. Brilliant location. Nothing

- Gerry (9/5): Superb - Beautiful Lodge on quiet holiday park. The Lodge was well appointed both in terms of decoration and furniture. The location was also really good with the Aldeburgh scallop across the road from the site entrance and the town just 5 minutes walk. Some air-conditioning would have been a bonus
- Diane (10/5): Excellent service really enjoyed our break. away - The openess of the accommodation
and the quietness which was very relaxing. Nothing
- Sonia (9/5): Very comfortable, very clean and well presented, let down by a few issues which could be easily resolved - Well presented, very clean Cheap toilet paper and mismatched cutlery and crockery let it down
- Raina (10/5): Beautifully presented lodge in a peaceful setting looking out onto Marshes and very close to beach and town. - Spacious, tastefully decorated in a great location. It’s was all great. Only slight issue was the late check in. 3 pm would have been perfect.
- Jimmy (9/5): Family weekend - Ideal position for walking with the dogs, everything you asked for in the chalet . Difficult to find at first ,
- Rachel (9/5): Wonderful relaxing stay - The view was lovely
Spacious and very clean We both said the only thing we could put as a negative was the toilet paper is a false economy.
- Geoffrey (9/5): Would come back and recommend. - Accommodation was great as was location. Booking was easy too. High standard and comfortable and warm. Clean site. Difficult to work the TV. There were three controllers. Why? Really needed help with this.
Difficult to find chalet on arrival. Needed better direction and numbers should be visible from the front and not hidden at the side. This is not obvious to people who know their way around.
Difficult to find out where the waste bins were. No info in the pack
- Anthony (10/5): Well rested after a long journey. - The location was lovely, very peaceful and well laid out,the quietest place we have ever stayed in.
Top quality furnishings, and spotless throughout within easy reach of the town,we will be back to use this place again.
A credit to the owners. Nothing at all perfect!

- Whitehartdame (10/5): Exceptional - Absolutely fabulous lodge in a very peaceful setting on a large touring site. The lodge has everything you could possibly need (apart from a hairdryer and a bread knife!) and was spotless. There is a double oven, a microwave, dishwasher, fridge-freezer, washer/dryer, electric torches which were very handy (the site is quite dimly lit for evening walkies to the dustbins), lovely veranda overlooking the small stream and fields. There is tons of storage space in all the bedrooms and plenty of plug sockets. The TVs are all smart so you can access the streaming services.
Handy parking next to the lodge for two vehicles.
Very close to Aldeburgh beach and a lovely walk to Thorpeness and a short walk into the town.
The hosts are very responsive on the messaging on Booking.com. Would 100% stay here again! Nothing, we would absolutely book this again.
