- Sudarshan (8/5): Pleasant experience with the homestay. Surrounding Nature is good. - Hospitality of the people, Wooden Furniture of the Rooms is nice. Good Breakfast. Location mentioned in Booking.com is not correct. It shows this homestay in Pelling City and actually its 3.5 Km away from the city.
- Pramod (1/5): Don't ever chose this homestay even as a wrong choice. One of the worst hotel I have visited in my li - A person can't take breakfast which is provided there, children remains empty stomach with just two pcs of roti.Dont chose breakfast during booking otherwise you will repent None of the product of the property brings satisfaction, totally disgusting
- Easetravels (1/5): Bad - Nothing Not to answer
- Ashima (9/5): Superb - The rooms were clean and comfortable and the food was delicious. We got freshly made food and the owners of the homestay were very friendly and nice. The only thing we didn't like was the dogs and the pet's barking in the middle of the night which was a bit disturbing.
- Garima (5/5): Passable -
- Sudip (7/5): Good - the living room which my daughter nicknamed Buddha Room. Frequent power cuts
- Kaushik (10/5): Exceptional -
- Ange (10/5): Exceptional - Great location for sky walk and bird park. Shared taxi collects outside the property. Little shop nearby. Pelling town also not far.

- Vandana (8/5): Homely environment and excellent customer service - The property owner and his family took excellent care in making the stay memorable. The dinner and breakfast provided was very tasty and homely too.
- Gopinath (10/5): Exceptional -
- Jim (10/5): Wonderful Hosts, fabulous food, marvelous views of the hills (not Kachenjunga) - Small family run operation with just a few rooms. In the village of Tikjak, less than a ten minute drive from Pelling. The highlight of the stay was the delicious home cooked meals featuring all local dishes. I had breakfast and dinner each day. Sonam the son speaks very good English. There are two flights of steep steps to get into the guesthouse.
- Prayog (10/5): Exceptional -
- Lara (10/5): A happy, welcoming place - I had the most wonderful stay at Yangdup Bhutia's family home, which is a beautiful mix of local art and extremely new facilities. For the evening meals I was offered different types of Sikkimese food, which were all delicious and filling. There is a large reception room for reading, yoga, television, and tea, and the bedroom is large with a lovely view of the hill. It's in walking distance of the monastery, the bird park and the ruins, and Yangdup could not have been more helpful in arranging transport for the lake, skywalk, and waterfalls, and a taxi back to Siliguri. Thanks also to Rinku for a great sightseeing day. All the family are so welcoming, and it was nice to be a little outside the main town. Quiet, peaceful, with a beautiful view of the valley. Thanks all.
- Atandra (10/5): Exceptional - The cleanliness and hospitality Foods are overpriced
- Pragya (9/5): Superb - The space and the property was very well maintained and decorated
- Pramod (7/5): Nice place for couple of days stay - Nice view of mountain and jungle. The staffs are courteous and the common area is well maintained No shops or restaurants near this place and one need to travel atleast 2-3 km on hilly roads. The food served/cooked in this place is expensive and breakfast option is only Paratha or bread.
- Vikas_trip (8/5): Wonderful and Homely Stay at Hello Home in Pelling - We stayed at Hello Home for 2 nights starting 28 June 2024.
It was a wonderful place to stay with a great view, very comfortable and cozy, and felt very homely. The place is run by a family—son, mom, and dad. We felt like we woke up in our own house.
They have a dog named Jango, who is a very lazy and friendly pet. My daughter was very happy with him.
The homestay has a huge living room with a big TV screen and a bar. The bedrooms were spacious.
The mom and son cooked very good food for us, which was prepared on pre-order. Sudden orders might be difficult for them to arrange and cook, but the food was very tasty.
They were very friendly people, and we enjoyed our two-night stay.
The location was good, but there was nothing within walking distance. However, there are shared taxis right outside the homestay that take you to the local market, although there's not much to see in the market. We stayed at the homestay after our local sightseeing.
Overall, it was an excellent stay in Pelling. The only issue was the steep, narrow stairs to reach the house, which is on the third floor. My parents, who are over 70 years old, struggled with it. My wife and I had no issues, though.
- Faraaz (9/5): Superb -
- Anurag (5/5): Passable -
- Prahlad (9/5): Superb - Property is just adequately maintained and excellent courtesy by owners and fantastic food prepared based on your choice of order. Thapa and his wife are very adorable and his son made our stay memorable. Thanks Butia Climbing up
- Grace (10/5): Exceptional - Hello Home is very cozy, comfortable and homely. Property is very clean! Great communal areas to chill and lovely views. Food was also great and family lovely too! Soman was very helpful. We will definitely stay here again when we return.
Good location- near the monastery and amongst the forest. Only thing to note is wrong location on booking.com. Property is actually a few km outside of Pelling.
- Shresta (10/5): Exceptional - Just so beautiful and comfortable
- Mriganka (3/5): Poor - Cleanlines,location Hospitality,food
- Bhanupriya (9/5): Superb - The property is A class, interiors, decor and everything is so pleasing.. we had a delightful stay here. The house is 1/2 km from the main taxi junction, whr u can get cabs for any destination in Sikkim. View from the windows was scenic and the surroundings were serene. It is located at a distance of 5 km from main Pelling and you would not be able to find any food joints near this. However, the housekeepers cook all meals, so u can have home cooked meals at all times, if u prefer so.
- Bharat (8/5): Very good - Location, hospitality, rooms Prices charged for extra orders were quite high and does not make sense to me. Rs.200 for 12 pieces of veg pakoda and 30 rupees for a boiled egg. This makes no sense to me. Rest, we enjoyed our stay.
- Robin (10/5): Amazing homestay in Pelling - Perfect homestay to stay in Pelling. The rooms are cozy and pretty. Everything was super clean. The best part was the hospitality accorded to us by Yanchen and family. She went out of her way to arrange for our travel, and was very prompt with everything. Will recommend this property to everyone who's planning to visit Pelling
- Bhaskar (10/5): Exceptional -
- Bharath (9/5): Superb -
- Bose (9/5): Superb -
- Praveen (10/5): Excellent stay, nice people, fairly good location. I would stay here when I come around next time - The property is brand new. Lobby was excellent with a big flat screen TV. We relaxed out there watching some movie. Room was beautifully designed with nice color combination. Extra bed was provided as requested. Owner was a very nice man and helped to lift the luggage to the first floor. Large windows in the room overlooking the mountains and you can view the sun rise from the mountains so nicely. Overall a very good stay Breakfast was provided but quality was just about ok. Bathroom is good with nice fittings but it is not properly setup - they were a bit loose
- Chandan (7/5): Good - Cleanliness, simplicity, Bathroom fittings should be improved and taken care off. No hanger, no mirror inside bathroom. Property is little away from heart of Pelling. You need a car to move.
- Sreyashi (9/5): Superb - Located in a very serene place. Behavior and hospitality of the Host is really impressive. They served delicious home cooked meals. Interior is neat and quite airy, and also very clean and elegant. Overall we are very happy with our stay.
- Maria (10/5): Exceptional - The room was excellent, good furniture, very comfortable, pefectly clean.

- Chandan (9/5): Nice place to stay homely. The place is little far from Pelling but near to Birds park. Recommend it - 1. Behavior of hosts. 2. Nice place away from hustle & bustle. 3. Large room with nice linen and smart toilet. No hanger and mirror inside washroom. A sofa could be added in room.
