Guest Reviews
- Jeremy (10/5): - This place is great, nice large roomy area with great amenities
- Mikaela (6/5): - It was a great location. Very easy to find parking and get in/out of the building. The place is decorated so cute! There was no additional toilet paper so had to go down to the first floor communal bathroom to get extra. There was also no hand towel for the kitchen or any blankets. The walls are pretty thin, we could hear the next door neighbors any time the were talking; wasn't as bad when we put the tv volume a little higher. With all that being said the location was great and would still recommend staying here.
- James (10/5): - The concept is great, the rooms are comfortable and clean and the location is a good option away from the hectic downtown hotel properties. I will recommend Maven Stay to friends.
- Keith (10/5): Great vacay at Maven Stay - Great stay. Would stay there again.
- Juan (2/5): - It was cozy and the exceeded our expectations good place
- Christopher Stephen (10/5): - Everything except the parking situation was great
- Bryn (10/5): - The room was super cute, very well decorated and comfortable.
- Adriana (10/5): - My boyfriends and I first stay in salt lake and this was such a welcoming experience. Everything was clean and well organized. We were near so many things. A new quiet town. The apartment was nicely decorated, the quotes were so positive. The balcony was an added bonus.
- Patricia and Alexander (6/5): - I liked the amenities within the unit. The ease of check in.
I did not like the flood lights in the patio area. The blackout curtains were insufficient to block the two flood lights shining in our room. It seems like a simple fix to turn them off with the flick of a switch. I was excited to stay at this female run hotel, however, I was disappointed at the response that we received from management to say that they were working on the issue. Sleep is most important especially when travelling.
- Javier (10/5): - Very easy to access the property and room
Place was clean, furniture / dishes / blankets were practically new
Favorite thing about my stay was the bed. It’s the comfiest mattress, pillows, and comforters I’ve ever slept on (tell me the brand please)
If I had any issue, it was that the AC wouldn’t move passed 69-70 degrees. I wish there was a fan.
I’m excited to book again
- Paulina Abigail (2/5): - Room was not cleaned at all when I arrived, door was wide open to the hallway, no bedsheets on bed and lots of disgusting stains. Also unsafe as it has an unlockable conjoining room door where I or the other room could burst in at any moment with only a couch to keep the door from opening as the door didn’t even properly close.
- Daeryung (8/5): - The trash bag didn’t empty when I checked in the room.
- Yung-Yeh (10/5): - Wonderful condo!
- Payton (8/5): - Wonderful space to stay for a few days. It is a staffless location, so if there are any issues it is almost impossible for get in contact with someone. There were stains on the floor, I was unable to control the temperature, and there wasn’t a welcome packet I could refer to on how to use the keypad to lock the door. Overall, the bed was comfortable, great amenities, and good location. I also love how it is women-owned, I just wish I had some contact to reach out about some issues I experienced.
- MARIA (6/5): - Location was great but it is not quiet. You can hear EVERYTHING from the rooms next to you. You can hear conversations as if you’re in the same room. Was difficult to sleep when people next door were up until 7am.
- Manpreet (10/5): - Love love LOVED this place. It was so cute and cozy. It was such a welcoming ambiance. There are a lot of eatery options near by and overall felt safe walking around by myself. Would always stay here when I go to SLC.
- Matthew (10/5): - Excellent property. Would definitely stay again
- Veronica (10/5): - Fun, hip and convenient!
- Jawana (10/5): - Great location. Very cute place! Comfy bed!
- Kelsey (4/5): - It sounded like our neighbors were in our room with us.. and they weren't even being loud. There was hair all over the bathroom floor, a plastic bag under the couch and the rug didn't look vacuumed. We only stayed one night and got another hotel for the remainder of our stay, it was just not comfortable enough to stay.
- Hector (10/5): - Excellent location, fully equipped rooms, lots of restaurants within walking distance. Highly recommended
- Natalie (10/5): - You have a great property. I come to SLC often and plan to stay here again. Thank you!
- matthew (8/5): Excellent condition. Excellent location. - Location. Condition. Neighborhood. Easy of getting into the building and unit. All 5s. Only down side was the limited ability to communicate with the owner/manager b/c the unit/hotel is "staffless" and the options when you call are limited to a set selection. Couldn't get a response about whether we could check in early. But i know that now. Would stay there again and would be prepared for that.
- Vicki (8/5): - Very secure. Love having the personal code. Ideally located. Didn't love no designated parking, but street parking actually wasn't too bad. Funky vibe to the building. Room was well appointed with everything you need
- Jason (8/5): - This was a great different experience. The only issue we had was the rugs and couch were covered in hair as if no vacuumed. The floors were concrete so were swept and clean.
- Joseph (10/5): - Great place!
- Lily (6/5): - Pros: The property itself was super cute! Area was very safe and walkable. Comfy beds, and lots of space in the room.
Cons: Communication. We tried to call multiple times before we got to Salt Lake City because we did not know what the parking situation was. We were never able to reach anyone.
One evening we were coming down to leave the hotel and there were two separate people standing in the lobby who were unable to reach the staff and were wondering how to get into their room becuase their code did not work. One of them even said she had been trying to contact someone for an entire day, but had to get a last minute hotel elsewhere. Very unsettling, I felt horrible for them. In the lobby, there is a room that is intended to have staff …. But no staff was ever present within the entirety of our 4-day stay.
Our stay was just fine! But if something had gone wrong, or we needed assistance, we would have been stranded.
Parking is also hard we had to park multiple streets over a few times.
- Christopher (10/5): - A wonderful place to stay. So nice to have all the amenities of home.
- Carolyn (10/5): - Fantastic hotel. Couldn’t believe how nice the apartment was for the price, snd all the amenities. Our new go-to when staying in salt lake.
- Kyle Knopp, Sarah (2/5): - This is a “staffless” hotel which means when the courtyard lights are shining directly into your room at night, and the curtains are not blackout, there is nobody who will help at all! We stayed two miserable, sleepless nights because we were unable to check out early due to prepaying and no refunds. Our bedroom was as light as daylight all night. The lack of communication and help was so frustrating!
- Vanessa (8/5): - Loved the space and the neighborhood. Parking was awful though. There was rarely parking open nearby so we would have to park a good distance away from the property or circle around the block a few times waiting for a nearby space to open up. Not very convenient. Also the metal nightstands would rattle against the concrete floor in the middle of the night if you rolled over or moved in the bed and were very noisy.
- Maria (10/5): - Fun area, safe and clean building.
- Amanda (10/5): - Love it here!
- Miriam (10/5): - Customer service was great and responsive!
- William (10/5): Comfy - Nice and comfortable.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Organic, natural oils are a hit! - Plave was great. Every little detailed was taken care of. Love the full kitchen!
- Nektarios (10/5): - I had an absolute blast at Maven Stay: couldn't have asked for a better place to Stay for not only my 1st time in SLC, but also my first solo trip!
Everything was super clean, haivng a kitchen and laundry was amazing, and communication was superb!
5 out of 5 stars without a doubt: thank you all at Maven!
- Quyen (10/5): - Great stay! Clean and nice
- Sijeenth (8/5): - Nice easy stay - all very clean and comfortable. Great area also!
No front desk so communications sometimes delayed but not too bad to be honest
- Bob (10/5): - Affordable cleaning beautiful room. The full kitchen was very well equipped.
I would stay here again.
- Stefanie K (10/5): - Our rooms couldn't be more perfect as our home away from home. Stocked full of essentials as I was concerned about packing light and was going to buy what I needed after my arrival but I didn't have to buy anything additional. I even had a steam iron in my room so I could sooth out my satin attires for evening wear.
The stay was quiet and and spacious. The communication was exquisite from day one notifying us of the how to's to check in but also helping us navigate the building and town and we just happened to run into one of the property managers when we were getting into our rooms and she was so sweet and thoughtful. Though she was clearly busy, she took the time to give us a little tour and ensured we found our rooms and settled in; and we even get to meet some of the main residents whom were so pleasant and welcoming.
Lots of open space for my team and I to huddle before our events and the view was beautifully placed with an overview of the town and picturesque mountain scenery. We will stay here every time we're in town for our events.
- Mohamad (2/5): - Canceled last minute almost left me stranded.
- Kate (10/5): - Super awesome, fast simple check in and checkout. clean and quiet no complaints. As well as spacious and comfortable. would stay again, Thanks
- Amy A (10/5): Very comfortable!! - We loved this place!! It was clean, modern and soooo cute!! We will definitely be back to this place!!
- Margaret (10/5): - This is the 2nd time we have stayed and loved thevibe, the area and the physical surroundings. The fact that they were truly dog friendly meant the world to me. This property is a wonderful place to stay!
- Sam (10/5): - Management was excellent! Communication was great and the room was spotless!
- Mary (10/5): - Maven Stay was a very unique and eclectic experience. I really enjoyed staying in the Macen District with lots of great dining options.
- Amanda (10/5): - Amazing place, already booked my next stay!
- Margaret Talker (10/5): - It was a great experience with lots of great extras...loved it!
- CAROLYNN (10/5): - This apartment was so accommodating. It had a well stocked kitchen from utensils to cooking needs. The comforts were great from the bed to the living space. The communication was on point and the area had plenty of walkable eateries and shops. I’d stay again for sure!!
- Katie (10/5): - The maven stay was a great option. I had the right space to cook and hang out after a long day at class. It was clean it was nicely decorated, and new. I would definitely see there again.
- Dylan (10/5): Cutest apartment - Super easy to access the apartment. The entire space was so cute and curated with everything we needed. Would 100% stay here again. Walking distance to good food and breweries.
