Guest Reviews
- Kuhrau (10/5): - We had the best stay. Sakkie was so incredible, so much history behind this Farm house. We were so impressed with the coal stove, we actually fell in love with it. The fire heater jacuzzi was so awesome, gardens were beautiful. Honestly had the best stay. Thank you
- Pheza (7/5): -
- Gill (1/5): A disaster, we left and found alternate accommodation - I have already sent a message to Booking.com where
I mentioned why we could not possibly stay at that place! There was no one to meet us and we had to phone to find the key. The hot tub was covered in scum. Please refund me we paid for other accommodation. Everything!
- Yvonne (8/5): - The location was very peaceful and picturesque. Sakkie was really friendly and welcoming. The house was very quaint. Some parts of the house could do with a bit of tlc.
- Nico (9/5): Beautiful mountain scenery surrounding the farm and everything you need was provided -
- Hisham (9/5): -
- Charleen (10/5): Exceptional - Amazing little winter get away. On a farm. The house was built in the 1800 so very historic. I just.loved being.oit on nature , see the sheep and wide open spaces. The host Sakkie is very friendly.
- Melissa (10/5): Most wonderful stay at Goedgeloof Farm Stay - Beautiful old farm house in Barrydale with history. Oom Sakkie, the owner is a wonderful host. We were warmly welcomed by Oom Sakkie, who gave us a tour of the house and the rest of the property. He also gave us some of his famous “skilpaadjies” which were delicious. Would highly recommend anyone who wants to take a break to stay over at Goedgeloof Farm Stay. Beautiful house / scenery and warm welcome from host.
- Giesela (9/5): Superb -
- Gunnar (10/5): Exceptional -
- Gillian (9/5): Superb - It’s a little gem. Traditional farm house - very old world charming. Lovely kitchen fire awaited us and the skillpaatjies they gifted us for our braai were delicious
- Schmid (8/5): Very good - Cosy, comfortable, clean rustic venue which is what we wanted. Nothing was "not liked"....everything was completely acceptable.
- Erik (10/5): Fantastic house, amazing food, excellent value for money - Oom Sakkie is an exeptionally welcoming host who helped us with a fully stocked fridge on our arrival so we could sample food from nearby farms. The sheep farm is a bit out of the way down a dirt road but the road is good and a regular car will do just fine. Enjoy the bright starry sky and the outdoor braai. Exceptionally well priced too. The dogs are very friendly but Jessie has a habit of stealing your shoes and taking them out into the garden 🤣
- Charmaine (10/5): Exceptional -
- Elmarie (10/5): Exceptional -
- Daan (7/5): Very neat. - Beautiful old house Maybe clean up around the house
- Europa (10/5): Quaint and quirky farmhouse stay..with the best host..itching to be back again! - Spacious and clean and an amazing host! Loved everything!
