• Patrick (10/5): Special riverside mountain treehouse - Incredible, small treehouse near a calming river, just an hour walk downstream of the Kupa source (currently a bridge is missing for the last few hundred meters, but the walk is worth it anyways). The house is literally immersed (directly and in the wider surroundings) in nature. It is simply a special place, you will find not many accomodations like this. It is located at the end of a small and winding road into the Risnjak national park, very peaceful and quiet. The hosts are wonderful and welcoming people. Of course it's not a five star hotel but it's exactly how you see it on the pictures. It's clean, the appliances are fine, and all the stuff you need is there. The bed was functional and even though the night was a bit cold (end of September), we still stayed warm (even without using the heater). The bathroom is small but nice. The little kitchen and veranda on the ground floor is great for relaxing dinners and breakfasts. Would've loved to stay longer but maybe next time. Nothing really. Everything was as expected.

• Adam (10/5): Exceptional - The location is absolutely stunning in a big meadow in the hilly woods next to the river. The hut is primitive but got all you need. And Josip, the host, is both a great person and a wonderful chef. Nothing to complain about!

• Ivana (10/5): Little peace of heaven - The hosts are amazing, easy to talk to, relaxed, welcoming, the house has everything you need, the location is breathtaking.. you are completely alone because the tree house is separate so you get all the privacy and then some. If i could give it a better rating than excellent, i would!

• Clement (10/5): Highly recommended - The treehouse is amazing, well constructed and very clean! Joseph and his family are very friendly, flexible and supportive when needed... I recommend it to anyone who wants to stay in a peaceful place, having a barbecue in front of the river and far from all the touristic locations. We will come back when possible Nothing to not like about this place. Thank you Joseph for your flexibility
• Juud (9/5): Home away from home - The owners, Josip and Helena, are such nice people! We felt very welcome. Josip cooked a meal for us that tasted excellent. And the place itself and the view on the river are great too. Don't forget your lighter for the stove, we had to run back to the car for one (and it was pouring haha). Coffee cups are maybe a bit too small. Can't think of anything else...
