• Muriel (9/5): Prima verblijf op een mooie locatie. - Prachtige omgeving, gezellige pub, sfeervol ingerichte kamer en vriendelijk personeel. Het ontbijt was prima, voldoende keuze en goede koffie. In de voegen en het kit van de douche zit behoorlijk wat schimmel, dat is ongezond en heeft aandacht nodig. Ik denk vanwege beperkte ontluchting in de badkamer. Het matras is wat ingezakt aan de zijkant, waardoor ik uit bed rolde.

• Julie (8/5): Nice hotel but could be so much better. - The property itself is a lovely old stone building. The staff were very good. The cooked breakfast was excellent, one of the best hotel breakfasts for a long time. Room furniture and lamps were lovely. It needs some TLC maintenance. We appreciate the property is old but keeping window frames and woodwork chip free, clean and painted should be a priority. The bathroom needed more attention. Base of taps weren’t particularly clean. Window frames again weren’t clean and needed work. The anti slip mat for the shower should be destroyed, it was very old given the colour and the reverse was covered in black mould. No ordinary teabags in the refreshment tray, not everyone wants camomile, peppermint etc. only one non-decaf coffee sachet in the tray also! It’s these details that people expect when they are paying to stay at a hotel.
• Carola (6/5): Peccato perché avevo grandi aspettative - Ci è stata assegnata una camera a piano terra e l’unica finestra, piccola, si apriva sul parcheggio auto da cui entravano i gas di scarico perché faceva un po caldo e non c’era condizionatore oltre al fatto che chi passava vedeva tutto dentro ed è mancata totalmente la privaci. Consiglio almeno di mettere anche altre tende non oscuranti. Per la colazione mi aspettavo di meglio, molte cose si vedeva che non erano preparate al momento ma riscaldate

We informed the staff, apparently they have known about the problem for some time.

• Mark (9/5): A very nice, relaxing and comfortable stay. - There is a good restaurant menu and the food is very nicely presented and to a high standard. The breakfast menu provides something for everyone with generous portions. The staff are friendly and attentive making sure that guests have a comfortable stay. Rooms are cleaned daily and stocked with teas, coffee, biscuits and water. The bed was comfortable and the television was conected to all of the channels that could be wished for. There was nothing that we didn't like.

South Cerney is a lovely village - a good location with plenty of walking trails nearby. A foldable luggage rack would have been helpful instead of having to put our hand case on the floor, as there was no other surface to put it on.0 There was space in the room for one.

We had Sunday lunch during our stay as well as breakfast each morning and the food was excellent couldn’t recommend enough. Everyone was so welcoming with our dog as well, very dog friendly. The rooms were lovely and clean with brilliant facilities. In a brilliant location.

Ottima la cena, super la colazione. Un po' di polvere, l'appendi asciugamano dietro la porta del bagno da sostituire, un tappeto da doccia vecchio e rovinato per una doccia nuova e ben pulita. Piccole cose in un contesto da dieci. Perché non starci attenti?

We were not In a rush but it took just shy of an hour for our orders to come out. The continental breakfast bar was pretty much empty when we went for breakfast at 9 and had not been refilled. Breakfast on the second day was much improved with a full bar and better service. Wait for dinner was also on the longer side. I cannot fault the staff they were all lovely, it was just the wait time for food and refill of breakfast item that could’ve been better.
