- Lars (8/5): Fair, if you aren't looking for great comfort. Very cool area. - Very central and mostly quiet. Stores and life just around the corner on Portobello Rd. It's council housing, which isn't a problem, but the rent is probabley low and the tenant is making a business from subletting to tourists. Which also isn't a problem. The place could be in better shape though, but no money goes into keeping the amenities up. The closet door is broken, f.e. and therefore the closet can't be used without putting yourself at risk.
- Joanna (8/5): Pleasant stay for a few days in London. - Nice little flat in a good location. A short walk to the tube. Clean, tidy, comfortable bed. The host was easily contactable and helpful. Difficult to find the right entrance upon arrival and had to ask a passer by. Arriving at night would possibly be a problem. Bathroom a bit dated, but perfectly fine.

Facilities wise was great, hairdryer, washer, dryer, hob etc are all present, which makes it so convenient for both of us The cleaning could improve a little, and also the organisation of the store room and the wardrobe could be better. There is also a foul smell coming from the store room, but these points are super minute and the plus points does overtake these
- Mikhail (2/5): The apartment location is convenient, but it requires more attention to maintenance. - The apartment is situated in a convenient area, with nearby access to public transportation, shops, cafes, and pubs. However, finding the correct entrance to the building, especially late at night, was challenging and required navigating multiple courtyards.
Upon arrival, the apartment had all the necessary amenities for a short stay, including bedding, toiletries, and kitchenware. However, we encountered some issues with the cleanliness and functionality of certain appliances. The photos provided are outdated and do not accurately represent the current condition of the apartment.
Upon inspecting the sofa bedding, we decided to wash it due to doubts about its freshness.
Discovered mold in the washing machine during the process.
Despite multiple attempts to dry the bedding, it remained wet due to a dirty filter in the dryer. Also the dryer had missing door hand.
Furthermore, we encountered a large mold spot near the window in the living room, which was not visible from the entryway. Concerned about safety, we opted to sleep together in the bedroom instead of using the mold-infested room.
In the living room there was a hanging a towel at the window instead of the curtain. It looked ugly and I took it down.
The commode in the bedroom contained dirt and debris.
The kitchen drawers were not organized and it was challenging to find matching lids for pots. Operating the stove was not intuitive, as it required turning on a switch on the wall without any instructions provided.
The ceiling in the bathroom was cracked from moisture. The bathroom fan was clogged with dirt.
The dishwasher emitted a foul odor.
Poor sound insulation in the building allowed noise from neighbors above to be heard clearly, disrupting our sleep.
Worth mentioning that the apartment appeared smaller than advertised. We measured it approximately and came only to 50 square meters, including the balcony.
Overall, while the apartment provided basic necessities, there were significant cleanliness and maintenance issues that need to be addressed. We took it upon ourselves to clean the mold and notified the landlord of the problem. However, upon departure, we discovered more mold stains in the living room, indicating a broader issue that requires professional attention. IMHO the price for such condition is too high.
