- Krzysztof (7/5): Great location, apartment feels real but needs further renovation - Great location
Beautiful/romantic view from the apartment to the backyard - best you could get, people kept on coming in to take photos
Real experience
WiFi available
Very responsive host, proactive, checking in, asking whether we had everything we needed Not enough towels
One bathroom needs refreshing
Another bathroom needs serious renovation
Not enough small pans and pots so you can’t really do your own breakfast cooking
- Angelika (8/5): Lokalizacja TOP - Lokalizacja obiektu była znakomita! Wszędzie blisko do największych atrakcji !
- vivian (8/5): -
- Malvina (10/5): Great and easy contact with the owner - Fabulous location on my favorite street in Rome, with plenty of excellent dining choices
- MARTIN EUSEBIO (9/5): - La ubicación es excelente. Limpieza
- Fleur (5/5): 10 out of 10 for location, but would want a bit more for the money you pay. - This was in an amazing location. Our host was very friendly and helpful, gave us lots of ideas to visit while in Italy. Was an easy check in. One of the toilets didn’t flush properly and the kitchen lacked cleaning supplies. A dishwasher but nothing to clean with. The building of course old, that’s why we visit Rome, but the fixtures in the apartment could be updated.
- Fiona (7/5): Good - Great location by a square with markets, lots of cafes and restaurants and walking distance to most of the landmarks in Rome. Big enough apartment for 5 adults, clean and tidy. Check in was difficult, as host wouldn’t give details until we had arrived at the appt. I didn’t have EU sim to call, which I explained multiple times before arrival but still wouldn’t give any details. Fortunately fellow traveller had data to contact on arrival. Were given website with code to use for front door which never worked, and lock box for keys by the appt entrance was broken and very temperamental - known to host but couldn’t get the keys and had to wait for someone to bring a spare.
Two of the rooms have beds, one of the rooms is actually sofa bed. One didn’t have any pillow cases on the pillows. The hot water cut out a lot, while we were told how to reset this, it was a pain every day.
While the appt is comfortable and clean it is an old Roman building - very loud can hear neighbours and every moment within the house. Three steep floors to climb with bags which is fine but something to be aware of if.
- Vonaspern (8/5): Very good - Comfortable and roomy in the perfect location The oven didn’t work
- Rocio (8/5): Excellent option if you want to be right in the center of Rome - The location is amazing, right next to Campo di Fiori so you can easily walk to most of the main attractions in Rome. The property is really cozy and nicely decorated. The heater worked pretty well during our stay. The owner is very nice as well. The bathrooms were a bit noisy as the water kept going for a while after flushing the toilet. No lift in the building so keep it in mind if your mobility is reduced
- Djukic (10/5): Exceptional -
- Natalia (9/5): Very comfortable stay - The host let us do the check out later
- Kimberly (6/5): Good location - The location is excellent. Central to many things and restaurants in the area. Good wifi Shower leaks water all over the floor. Lack blankets for the bed.
- David (7/5): Good location and well priced, but too hot - The host was very good and helped us arrange transportation back to the airport, which we greatly appreciated. The apartment was comfortable and in a good location for walking to major sites and busses. It was also a very short walk to a large grocery store and many restaurants. There was no air conditioning in the main bedroom, so we did not sleep well. I don't think we would stay here again because of that. The toilet in the second bathroom had a problem shutting off and the tub was old and dirty looking. I don't think it was actually dirty, more that it had mineral deposits. We also had an issue with the heater turning on, but that was our fault because we thought the thermostat on the wall controlled the air conditioner. I think this would be a good place to stay in the cooler months, but not in the summer. We did not like having to take the trash somewhere when we left. Housekeeping should take care of that for the guests.
- Vedran (8/5): Very good -
- Lisette (10/5): Exceptional -
- Debbie (8/5): Very good -
- Julia (5/5): Clean, cheap apartment, but you also get what you pay for - Location Dragging our bags up 3 flight of stairs, hot water going cold often, no blankets
- Kennedy (9/5): Great location for group - Great location accommodating host even though we arrived late Not all Cook top worked
- Rachel (8/5): Enjoyed our stay in large heritage apartment in exceptional location. - Very spacious for lots of people staying together. Great heritage building in the heart of Rome with excellent restaurants and bars a few steps away. Excellent location. Comfy beds. We had a few issues with hot water when we arrived, but the owner/manager helped sort this out.
- Robert (7/5): Great location mediocre apartment. Master bedroom had no AC or fan. - Great location four flights walk up. less than mediocre air conditioning. had to reset hot water heater every day during shower time.
- Work (8/5): Very good - The host was excellent, very responsive and easy to communicate with via text and call. He allowed us to store our bags while the apartment was being cleaned. The apartment was clean and in an excellent location. We were able to walk everywhere. Know that it is on the upper level of the building and there is no elevator. Carrying our heavy luggage up was a bit of a challenge. One of the sleeping locations has a very low ceiling, so be careful about bumping your head. That being said, we loved the location and having enough beds/rooms to all stay together.
- Domenic (6/5): Pleasant - Location was superb. Room for seven. It was very hot in Rome. AC was insufficient to cool one of the rooms. The water heater needed to be monitored as it clicks off at unexpected times. One bathroom needs to be upgraded to avoid water everywhere.
- Linda (6/5): Pleasant - THE LOCATION WAS EXCELLENT. THE APARTMENT WAS SPACIOUS ENOUGH WITH SPACE FOR ALL AROUND THE TABLE. THE PREVIOUS TENANT LEFT WET SMELLY TOWLES IN THE DRYER. THE KITCHEN EQUIPMENT WAS VERY SPARSE. THERE WAS ONLY 1 LARGE POT AND 1 VERY LARGE FRYING PAN. iF YOU NEED SMALLER IT WAS NOT THERE. THERE WAS NO SPATULA. HOT WATER WAS A BIG PROBLEM. THE TANK HAD TO BE RESET NUMEROUS TIMES A DAY AND WAS A GREAT INCONVENIENCE.
- Kenneth (10/5): Exceptional - Location was fantastic. For Rome it was the perfect place.
- Piotr (10/5): Exceptional - Best location in Rome, Super friendly and helpful host, Ancient Rome vibe you can acctually feel like you are in heart of Rome
- Joanne (8/5): Good value, close to restaurants and the historic district. - The location is excellent, walking distance to all the must see historic places. Plenty of shops and restaurants nearby! I was unprepared for the several flights of stairs to get to the apartment, there is no elevator. That being said, I enjoyed the apartment.
- Melanie (6/5): great location, strictly average property - The property was in a GREAT location! Francesco, our host, was wonderful - he provided a recommendation for dinner and suggested a dish we never would have tried, but we went there and had it and it was our favorite meal! The man that runs the chocolate store downstairs is a gem - get there early before he sells out of his croissants - they are incredible! The pictures definitely oversold the property. The bathrooms are dim, damp, and cramped. There’s mold & mildew everywhere. The hot water will quit on you multiple times and you’ll have to reset a switch to get it going. The bedrooms aren’t nearly as inviting as they are in the pictures. It also wasn’t particularly clean - debris and socks under the bed. The wood floor loft is dark and low. Unfortunately, the pictures will set you up for a let down if you’re looking for anything more than a very basic, no frills place to lay your head. The property is on the 3rd floor (no lift) and the woman that lives directly below on the 2nd floor is crabby and will fuss at you if she sees you. The building is 600-700 years old and the walls are incredibly thin - there are no secrets in this building.
- Vivina (9/5): Overall we had a wonderful experience! - Centrale located and helpful staff. Took a day to get oriented to the water heater.
- He (9/5): Superb -
- Douwe (10/5): Perfect location and accommodations for our family of 5. - The location was perfect. There are many shops and restaurants nearby and it is midway between the Vatican and the Colosseum. The host responded quickly to requests and was very helpful. We kept talking about lucky we were to be able to stay here.
