Mateusz (1/5): Bad - Warning – Scammers! We stayed at Villa Mara for just 2 nights – 5 responsible adults, no kids, no pets – and they’re refusing to return our €500 security deposit over a tiny coffee stain on an cheap bedside table. It was something that could’ve been wiped off with a damp cloth. We even offered to wait while they inspected the property before we left, but they refused, saying the cleaning company wouldn’t arrive until the next day. Clearly, they never intended to be fair. The “year-round” pool, which was a key reason we booked the place, was completely broken and empty. We only found this out on the day we arrived. The owners promised a discount for the inconvenience, but this required numerous exchanges and repeated reminders. Beautiful views can’t make up for being cheated – avoid this place unless you want to deal with dishonest hosts.
