Guest Reviews
- Cheryl (10/5): The historical Washington hotel was in a great location, clean, comfortable with all the amenities. - Location was within walking distance to everything. There were snacks and water offered to the guests. A parking spot was available in a garage. I’m rather short, it seemed like everything was for built a tall person, counters, shelves and towel hooks.
- Nicole (5/5): - The location is excellent and parking options were well explained. The sofa bed mattress was very badly stained, as was the mattress protector. It was the only negative to the stay, but it was very upsetting.
- Sharon (9/5): - Great location, roomy
- Jonah (10/5): - One of the best hotels/Airbnbs. Worth every single penny. Was a fully furnished apartment for basic living/vacationing. Will be staying again. P.S. The noise below was not a bother. Nothing
- Michael (10/5): Outstanding. 100% recommend. -

- clarissa (9/5): Nice getaway and lovely apartment to retreat to after a busy day in the foothills! - Excellent location. Central in Sonora, and easy to launch from for other areas in the foothills, such as Columbia and Calaveras Big Trees.
Well-appointed place. Had everything we needed. Thoughtful touches all around. Host was very communicative and provided helpful tips.
- Denise (10/5): - Fantastic stay!
Leaving wanting more time here after the Train concert at Ironstone.
Farewell until next time!
- Barone (9/5): Beautiful. - Beautiful apartment. Decor and amenities were great. I am disabled so the extremely steep stairs were difficult. It was a little noisy.

- Samantha (10/5): Wish we could have stayed longer - Super clean super cute!!! Host provided water bottles and snacks which I thought were a lovely treat🥂

Love all the amenities such as the washer and dryer the Roku and the porch that overlooks Sonora. Highly recommended it for tourists NA

- Aine (9/5): It was one of the best places we stayed on this trip. - It was top class. It had everything you could want for your stay in Sonora. We especially loved the balcony. A perfect choice. There was nothing we didn’t like about the property.
- Pamela (7/5): Good - Perfect location for walking around town. Having to move and park my vehicle in another parking lot and not able to see my vehicle or having to walk to parking lot to retrieve something from vehicle.
- Bernadette (10/5): A Wonderful Experience. - This location is centrally located, Very Clean and very nicely decorated. The bed was very comfortable. I don’t sleep this well at home. Just extremely nice.
- Edward (10/5): Lovely cozy place as always. Always stay here when in Sonora. Highly recommended - Everything! Nothing to complain about
- Stefano (10/5): Perfect to re charge before moving on - Comfortable, modern spotlessly clean The entrance stairway could do with an uplift
- Heather (9/5): Superb -
- Bruce (10/5): Stay here! Don't hesitate! Book it now! - This place is great! Tastefully decorated, comfy furniture, spic-and-span, new carpet, perfect location on Sonora's main tourist street. Complementary waters and snacks make you feel welcome - like the hosts really care about you! If we had a chance to wave a magic wand, we'd wish away the traffic noise. Frequent loud trucks on Washington St. made the balcony too unpleasant for us. With the balcony doors shut, you could still hear them in the living room, but it was totally acceptable. The bedroom is in the back of the unit and it was totally quiet back there.
- Dotan (10/5): Your home in Sonora - A magnificent place!
Fully furnished and equipped apartment. Designed in the coziest way and has everything you may need, either to spend the night or to stay for a week.
Located on the main strip of the lovely Sonora, it's just a walking distance from some very cool restaurants and shops, and also quite close to several trails into the woods and by the river.
The apartment has everything. From a fully equipped kitchen, to a washing machine and a dryer and everything else you can imagine.
We had only one night to spend, but it really was a great pleasure! We had nothing to dislike, really.
The bagel place that is right next to the place was closed, so I had to walk 3 blocks to the other one. That's really the worst thing we encountered...
- Valerie (10/5): We loved the location and comfort of the apartment. - The apartment was beautifully decorated and very comfortable. It was very clean and we felt at home during out stay. We loved the location as we really wanted to walk the Sonora downtown area. We used the balcony to enjoy a glass of wine and soak up some of the late March afternoon sun. There is nothing you can do about the traffic on the main street of Sonora. It is a bit loud in the living room but the bedroom was very quiet.
- Carina (9/5): Relaxing in the perfect way - We love this location in downtown Sonora. It’s super clean and has everything you need for a super comfortable stay. We love the balcony and super cozy spaces.
- Amanda (10/5): We absolutely love it here and will be back ! - Location and privacy Nothing !
- Edward (10/5): Lovely space and location. Can’t wait to stay again! - The location was perfect and the space was immaculate. Every detail was covered and it was clean and cozy. I liked how everything was labeled so everything was easy to find. Nothing - it was perfect for us.
- Elizabeth (8/5): Very good -
- Pamela (5/5): We would not stay there again and i'm sad about that but I am terribly allergic to mold. - Great location, well cared for Musty smell! Rugs tho comfortable on bare feet are always problematic for hidden dirt and dust and mold!
- Jeffrey (10/5): Exceptional -
- Bob (10/5): Could not be Better !!! - It was all great , Beyond my expectations
- Ken (10/5): Exceptional - Excellent location for walking around town, balcony, roomy, nice kitchen, complimentry snacks, friendly, responsive managers.l Nothing
- Yann (10/5): Exceptional - Very nice and cosy appartment
- Dave (10/5): Exceptional -
- Al (10/5): Great place really enjoyed our stay, owners have done a great job doing a quality remodel on this h - Excellent location walking distance to restaurants and shops
- Alexis (10/5): Super cozy! - The apartment was clean, quiet, and cozy! It was awesome staying in such a historic location. Everything we needed was provided including extras like snacks, coffee, and teas. The hosts were kind and responsive and left very clear instructions for parking. Since it is a downtown area, there are some time limitations for parking in certain areas. The detailed list of areas to park was helpful. The town was really sleepy on a Sunday morning with most businesses closed, but that just gave us an excuse to check out surrounding towns. Such a cool area! If we make it back to the area in the future, we’d love to stay again.
- Lisa (10/5): Exceptional - Absolute perfect location for a stay in Sonora. Lots of cute shops and wonderful restaurants within walking distance. Fully equiped kitchen, comfortable furniture and effective A/C. Pillow choices were a plus, (firm and soft) for the queen size bed. Nifty balcony for morning coffee, and an evening glass of wine. Very clear that a lot of thought went into anticipating guest needs. Very much enjoyed our stay.
- Anonymous (10/5): Loved our short time at the apartment and will definitely stay again. - Super cute and very welcoming. Parking very close by. Hostess was amazing and had great communication and recommendations of things to do and places to eat. Loved our stay.
- Julie (7/5): Will absolutely see if this gem of a spot is available the next time I'm in Sonora! - The location on the main street was perfect - made it very easy to walk to shops, restaurants and a hotel far down the street where I had family staying that were also in town overnight for an event. The unit itself is absolutely darling, comfortable and I felt very safe going in and out of the unit. Although in my short stay I did not use the kitchen for anything other than making coffee in the morning, it was stocked with regular supplies, cookware and dishes. Enjoyed my coffee on Sunday morning from the balcony outside! The only issue that I experienced had nothing to do with the unit itself and was really quite unexpected - not the fault of the owner of the unit in any way. Directly next door is a similar space and when I first arrived at the unit around 4-5pm. there was quite a bit of construction happening there. Was surprised this was taking place on a Saturday afternoon, but assumed they must have been close to finishing up. Took some time to wander along the main street and picked up dinner. Came back around 7pm or so and the construction was still happening - very loud music and talking along with what sounded like drills and sanders. The workers were both inside that unit as well as on the balcony, which made it difficult for me to relax on the balcony and in the living area. They finally finished and loaded up their truck at approx 11pm.
- Melissa (10/5): Super clean and cute. Great location. Walking distance from restaurants and bars. I highly recommend, would stay again. - Super clean and cute. Great location. Walking distance from restaurants and bars. I highly recommend, would stay again. Nothing
- Schneider (10/5): Great Little Peaceful Escape - Everything, we've stayed a few times and it's never enough time to enjoy all the amenities and we would like to stay for a week sometime in the future! Love the ruko! Liked everything!
- Tina (10/5): perfect will stay again !!! - so cute 🥰 warm and inviting I
- Wes (10/5): Exceptional - Cute apartment, nice furnishings. Hosts provided snacks, coffee, tea, and plenty of bottled water. Great location in the heart of old town Sonora. Lots of restaurant options right out the door. We didn't cook but the place appeared to be reasonably well equipped for it. Wasn't a major issue at all, but Washington Street is the main thoroughfare so there is some traffic noise.
- Mario (10/5): sublime - very very very clean and full of amenities.
wide and spacious perfect for a family.
definitely going back everything about it is exceptionally perfect
