- LoriRae (10/5): - This little Villa is located in a quaint village in Sebatu.
Restaurants within walking distance with lovely staff.
The host is a wonderful man with kindness and always a smile for you.
We had breakfast delivered everyday and it was a great sleep.
The pool was a welcome treat after a hot day out around Sebatu.
Close to shops on the main road, easy access to anything you need.
Grab also delivers!
The owner had a gym on site and also owns a fabulous restaurant about 10 mins away.
Even offered to drive us there if we wanted to eat. All was great.. nothing to note. Great stay
- Yasar (10/5): A perfect, peaceful, and unforgettable stay with stunning rice field views, exceptional hospitality, and outstanding val - We initially stayed for 4 days in Ubud, but we loved this place so much that we extended our stay and made an additional reservation just to spend one more night at Aditara Sebatu Villa.
We stayed as a family with my wife and our 5-month-old baby, and it was truly a perfect experience in every way.
The villa is absolutely beautiful very clean, well-designed, comfortable, and most importantly, safe. The view overlooking the rice fields is simply breathtaking and unforgettable. We had already liked the villa based on the photos before booking, but when we arrived, we realized that it had been further improved and enhanced. It exceeded our expectations by far.
The villa owner and his wife are incredibly kind, warm, and genuinely hospitable people. The staff are also very friendly, attentive, and helpful. We truly felt at home during our stay. We would also like to give a special thanks for the thoughtful traditional Balinese bag and the selection of coffee gifts it was such a lovely gesture.
During our stay, we rented a motorbike from the villa for 5 days. The motorbikes were almost brand new and very well maintained, which made everything very convenient for us. We also had breakfast included, and it was delicious and satisfying every morning.
In terms of value for money, this place definitely deserves to be priced much higher. It is easily one of the best places I have ever stayed.
I highly recommend this villa to anyone considering staying in the area. We truly hope to have the opportunity to come back and stay here again in the future. Nothing, everything was superb.
- Jijos (10/5): Exception private villa - with a private pool and bathtub. - Its a peacefull village away from ubud [40-45 minutes]
Had two waterfall and a temple nearby [within 200 -500mtr]. Lush ricefields and lot of restaurants within walking diatance.
Private pool and the balcony with view and the bed was great too.
You can have your food in the pool or on the open bed on balcony Eventhough we tried multiple options - we felt the food wasntas tasty as in kintamni, sanur, denpasar, penida island or nusa dua.
If you are eating from the villa - there is a huge seevice fees of 16% - plus additional charge for paying by card.

- Christopher (10/5): Felt like Home - It was amazing!! We enjoyed it very much and it felt like home!
- Freya (10/5): Peaceful teak oasis in untouched village - This is a special space in an idyllic location in Sebatu village. For $75 AUD a night it is amazing value. From the very start Made (the owner) and his wife made me feel welcomed and at home, not just in the villa but in Sebatu as a whole. The breakfast is delicious from a restaurant up the road (D'Pondok Warung), on my last day they surprised me with floating breakfast! And a coconut to drink and eat. They even brought me some bakso (chicken meatball soup) to try for lunch one day! Truly beautiful people who love their community and want to share Bali as their home.
The stairs to the upstairs bedroom are open to the outside, which I loved. You can watch the sunrise from the rope bed upstairs overlooking the rice fields. So peaceful, frogs at night and in the morning roosters. Some excellent local restaurants and cafes in Sebatu, and only 20 minutes to Tegalalang or 40 minutes to Ubud centre (gojek operates in Sebatu). The villa can arrange airport transfer, scooter hire, massage, local tours, etc. I will come back to Aditara if I am in Gianyar again. Little things like towels sometimes didn't get changed or toilet paper not restocked but most villas dont do that and the owner was very responsive anytime you ask for something!
- Mourgues (9/5): - The place is really great in the middle of the rice field. The accommodation is very unique and offers a really amazing experience. It is really clean and cozy. We really enjoyed our stay there. It is close to the main tourist sites. The host is very kind and super helpful, they makes everything they can to offer the best stay for his guest. Can be a little bit far from Ubud center. But if you wanna enjoy a time outside of the city I recommend it.
- Tieme (10/5): - De eigenaar was geweldig, echt een aardige vent Eigenlijk niks. Het was echt top
- Nursultan (10/5): - Good location, great villa, best view
- Sangeeta (10/5): Amazing 💗 - We loved our stay in Aditara Sebatu villa. The villa has amazing rice field view, and mount Batur. The owner was super kind, friendly and helpful too. The villa was clean and had all the facilities you need for perfect stay like free gym, pool, hammock, hanging netted bed. It is quiet and tucked away from hustle bustle of Ubud, perfect for your little escape. You can also rent scooter from the villa which madd iur stay very convenient to go around places while in Ubud. We will surely come back if we come to Bali. We know you will love it as much as we did.

- Roman (10/5): A perfect stay for everyone! - Madejagolo is very kind with a big heart. He was supporting me in all matters. I really enjoyed the time with him. I am looking forward to visiting him again.
His villa is great and cosy.
His wife and his staff members were also very nice people!
Thank you guys!!!
- Georgiana (10/5): -
- Madhu (10/5): We absolutely loved our stay at Aditara Sebatu Villa , the villa was beautiful, breakfast was delicious, and the hosts m - We had an amazing stay at Aditara Sebatu Villa in Ubud! The hosts, Madejajolo and his wife, were incredibly hospitable and kind. They welcomed us with a warm smile and even decorated the villa beautifully for our arrival, which made us feel so special.
The villa itself was spotless, very well maintained, and had such a peaceful atmosphere. We also loved the Indonesian breakfast, it was delicious and freshly prepared.
The hosts were always ready to help with anything we needed, making our stay completely stress-free. I’m very pleased with this property and would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Ubud.
- Tyler (10/5): Loved the host / owner, great man! Great stay and new friends! - The location!
- benito (10/5): Super - The owner takes very good care of the people super place! Over
- Radiansyah (10/5): Exceptional -
- James (10/5): Villa like no other - The view is nice, and the villa is well built. The Villa gives off a cabin like feel with all the wood accents. It has a lot of features like rope decking, pool with fountains streaming into it, and AC in the upstairs room. I met the owner Jagolo on the 1st day but didn't get to speak with him until our last day. He offered me a drink early evening after driving us for 6 hours, and we got to know each other. What started as a simple stay has blessed me with a new friendship. His place is beautiful, but the man's heart is even more so. It's not the fault of the owner, but getting there can be confusing. I recommend all people to search Grab or Gojeck with Aditara Gym. It's Jagolo's gym, and its address is accurate and will get you to his villas.
- Rana (8/5): Very good - The view was amazing. The staff are friendly. The facilities was very good. The private pool was also nice. The location is far from the city.
- Tameika (10/5): Out of all the places We stayed in Bali this was by far the best. The Owner Made Us Feel Welcomed.. Sebatu Villa Felt Li - We loved everything about this villa. We had an amazing time here. The Staff went above and beyond to make us feel at home.
- Jacob (6/5): Pleasant - The staff were lovely! If you are after a authentic bali bungalow then this would definitely be it! Was advertised as a Villa but is more of a bungalow there wasn’t a proper door in the bedroom and it just wasn’t what we expected and ended up only staying 2 of the 4 nights we had booked. It was also a 40 minute drive from main ubud which was inconvenient
- Benedikt (7/5): Good - Nice cottage in the countryside.
This place is the right choice, if you want an authentic Bali experience, a bungalow with basic comfort.
The place is spacious and has a nice view from the first floor.
It would be okay if it were cheaper. - The whole bathroom situation: the bath becomes flooded after every shower, because it is constructed poorly, then you have to wade through water whenever you want to use the toilet. Also shower gel and shampoo were empty at arrival.
- It is a bungalow with zero service that is sold as a 'villa' which is presented in the pictures as much shinier as it is in reality: no cleaning offered during the whole 3 nights stay, when we ran out of toilet paper the staff member had to drive to the supermarket for it. They mean well but just don't know how to provide service.
- Breakfast was very poor.
- The gym was a nice surprise but it had no electricity and was rather old.
- Victoria (10/5): Peaceful, serene, tranquil. - The layout of the villa is cozy. Hearing the sounds of nature through the night was relaxing. Nice place to get away from all the noise. View was nice, although it was raining - the open concept helped with listening to the raindrops.
- Harder (10/5): Beautiful place in an idyllic village, run by great people - Definitely the best place I stayed in while in Bali. Jagolo, his family and staff were super accommodative and really made me feel at home. The village of Sebatu is quiet and idyllic, while still providing some touristy experiences (including a couple of great cafes/restaurants) either in or nearby the village. The villa itself is beautiful, spacious and fairly private (although both of the villas are next to each other and have open-plan type setups, so if there are other people staying next doors you will definitely hear each other). That being said, the private pool is actually private enough to be able to sunbathe nude, which, in my book, is a huge plus. While the bathrooms are spacious and stylish, there has been a small, but important mistake made while building them:
The floor is slanted in the wrong direction, so if you use the standalone shower, the water gathers in front of the doorway, where there is no drainage. For that reason, I would recommend using the shower in the bathtub. (This applies to villa #2, perhaps this is not an issue in villa #1, I wouldn't know). Just something to be aware of.
- Rahul (9/5): Superb -
