Guest Reviews
- Nir (8/5): Good place for staycation - Nice location, close to all attractions Nothing
- Antoniou (8/5): We enjoyed the stay. - Close to riverside. One of the children loved the green colour of the house. There was no balcony or good view. One of the children wanted an air conditioning. My wife wanted a sponge for the dishes. I tried to explain this is not important.
- paula (8/5): Lovely comfortable and clean - Clean comfortable accommodation Could do with blinds or black out curtains
- Helen (6/5): -
- Sharon (10/5): Just perfect from start to finish with very helpful hosts & perfect instructions to get key etc. - Excellent location
Ideal for short break & cleanliness was perfect & very welcoming (especially the little jar of doggie treats š¶)
Would 100% recommend Nothing
- jamie (10/5): -
- Michelle (8/5): - Great location, nicely decorated. Good facilities in the kitchen. The sofa bed legs were uneven so we had to use just the sofa instead. The boiler created a lot of noise in the second bedroom. Would have been nice to have had some christmas decorations in the static as visiting for the Christmas events in the town.
- Andrea (10/5): - Nala lodge was exceptionally good. Cleanliness was good. The site is quiet and peaceful I would highly recommend š
- Daniel (8/5): -
- Linda (10/5): - Clean, comfortable, great location for Knaresborough and Leeds festival Nothing
- Michael (10/5): - The owner left clear instructions to access site and Caravan, so on arrival, all straightforward to follow. Caravan exceptionally clean, and facilities great and more than enough room for.couples or small families.
A great location to explore local areas, knaresborough on foot, and York and coast within reach by car/ train for day trips.
Highly recommend š N/a
- nikki (10/5): -
- Judith Gorczyca (10/5): Knaresborough heaven. - The location was absolutely beautiful. The beautiful little lido with benches to take in the views, the gorgeous riverside cafe. Stunning Nothing
- Aimee (9/5): -
- Jillian (9/5): - The lovely caravan was very clean and had everything you needed and more , we were lucky that the caravan was sorted earlier than check in time , caravan park very clean lovely cafe on the river that runs by the caravan park. Unfortunately the only thing was that the shop wasn't open until Thursday and the club didn't open until Wednesday They didn't serve food as stated The play park for the kids was very small not a lot for them to play on ,

- John Sharp (9/5): Nice place to stay. - Very nice caravan, clean and comfortable.. good location in a great park. Slight problem with door lock sticking but managed to get in.
- Anca (9/5): We had a lovely stay at Nala lodge, we highly recommend it for small families. - Good location close to Harrogate and Knaresborough, nice leaving room and the lodge is equipped with everything you need for comfortable stay. Nice little beach and river in short walking distance. When it is sunny it can get very hot and there is no AC, an no fans , so you need to buy some if you want to sleep well .
- Jax (10/5): Nala Lodge - Lovely clean and comfortable caravan, really quiet site really impressed. We used it to go to the Yorkshire show which was just down the road so perfect spot. Would definitely stay again. Shop and restaurant only open at the weekend
- Donna (10/5): Canāt wait to come back - Beautiful clean caravan with everything we needed. In a gorgeous spot with onsite shop, cafe and pub. We had a wonderful Sunday lunch at the pub and the caravan owners were kind enough to allow us a later check out. We only stayed for 2 days to move our daughter out of uni but we would definitely book again for a longer stay Nothing to dislike! Peaceful and enjoyable stay
- Tk (8/5): One night stay - We stayed one night at this lovely lodge which had everything you would need, gorgeous park with river and nice walks so great for the dogs and we found a kids park so happy child and dogs !
Communication with owner was good . Couldn't get the bottom oven to work, luckily there was an air fryer, but for £200 a night would expect the oven to work. You're asked to clean out the air fryer after use as well and leave the kitchen clean, no problem but might get some guests backs up at £200 per night.
Dog blankets in the box were dirty and smelled bad so we didn't use these and used our own. The living room carpet had old stains and needed a good clean
The single beds were uncomfortable, could feel the springs, would benefit from a topper . Ok for kids but adults may find uncomfortable.
An email is sent with check-in details but a welcome pack with local restaurants and more information on what is on the park would have been nice
- Martin (10/5): Great short weekend break - We enjoyed our stay at Nala Loge.
Great surroundings.
Not too far from town centre and good walks with the dog.
Loved the shower, especially as we donāt have one at home due to renovations, so greatly appreciated it, and carpets š
We would recommend a stay and would visit again.
Thanks
- Black (8/5): Very good - Lovely spacious caravan, nice site Could have been cleaner, lots of dust, cobwebs and bathroom not thoroughly cleaned prior to arrival
Very close to other vans, tight parking
- Garry (10/5): Great location and a well presented van made for a great holiday - Very clean and tidy. Very well looked after. Everything you need for a great holiday. Nothing springs to mind.
- Hylton (10/5): Exceptional -
- Ian (10/5): Exceptional -
- Lisa (10/5): Fantastic stay in a stunning part of knaresborough - The little touches that made arriving at the lodge just brilliant! Little milks in the fridge- we were desperate for a cuppa and was expecting to have to wait until we nipped to Lidl, the salt and pepper, fairy liquid, plastic plates for the kids⦠just lots of little things but these little things make a big difference! Thank you.
- Angela (8/5): A nice short restful stay. - Convenient for Harrogate. Quiet location. Easy parking. Good shower and television facilities. Couldnāt find a way of controlling the heating and it was rather cold at times.
- Rebecca (8/5): Knaresborough riverside area is stunningly pretty and unique! A must see! - Lovely lounge and kitchen area. Parking for one car Quite a walk to places to eat in the evening. There werenāt any sheets for the fold out bed in the lounge area, which we only discovered at bedtime.
- Ann (8/5): Very good -
- Dear (7/5): Good -
- Pamela (9/5): Lovely relaxing break. - Cosy clean mobile home on a well kept site.
The home was warm, well equipped and conveniently placed on the site. The heating was easy to control and we were spoiled for choice for cooking with an oven, microwave and air fryer to choose from.
The site is in a good location for exploring the area. To get into Knaresborough there is a lovely riverside woodland path of about a mile but I think it could be slippy after wet weather. The 1a bus tops just outside the site which goes to both Knaresborough and Harrogate should you wish to leave the car behind. There are also 2 trains an hour to York from Knaresborough.
There is a retail park directly opposite with an M&S food store. The weatherš
- Cook (6/5): Pleasant -
- Philip (9/5): Superb - Caravan lovely and clean, air fryer, nice cups and glasses a bonus plus TV options. The onsite club bar also really good and Knaresborough itself is a great place. Nothing, was all good!
- David (9/5): Superb - Caravan was very clean and adequately furnished,Location and amenities on site were very good and just a 30-minute walk or 5 minute bus ride into Knaresborough. None worth mentioning!
- Benjamin (10/5): Exceptional -
- Gert (8/5): Nala lodge suited our self-catering needs. It is comfortable, warm and well equipped. - Clean, tidy and well equipped for self catering. The fitted fire alarm went berserk on the first day of our stay, for apparently no reason, but once that was sorted all was fine for the rest of our stay.
- Judith (9/5): Had a really good week - Exceptionally clean, well resourced and well maintained on a well managed and ordered leisure park with good facilities for most of our stay there were just the two of us and the lodge was near perfect for our needs ⦠for more people it might be said to slip into a little cramped rather than than cosy
- Janie (10/5): Best family stay - Close to the on-site shop and only 8 minutes from the shopping centre. Nice little campervan. Very cosy. Nothing
- Nikola (10/5): Exceptional - Very clean, everything you needed was there such as towels, washing liquid, ironing board and iron, hairdryer, wifi. Selection of games to play with kids. Able to access Disney, Netflix etc on TV.
Excellent communication. Nothing
- Louisa (10/5): Excellent caravan. - The caravan was lovely and spacious and ideal for our stay .It was fully equipped and had lovely finishing touches, making it feel cosy and inviting.
I would definitely recommend this caravan to family and friends.
- Rachel (10/5): Exceptional - Quiet location not far from Knaresborough.
- Adrian (10/5): Exceptional -

- Bernadette (8/5): Very good -
- Cook (10/5): Exceptional -
- Pauline (9/5): Superb - Lovely caravan in a gorgeous park. Everything we needed including an air fryer and doggie treats. The bus stop outside the park was convenient for the short ride to Knaresborough. Walkable in 20 minutes too Nothing at all to dislike.
- Kady (8/5): Very comfortable and welcoming home from home - Shared bathroom
- Sarah (8/5): Lovely and clean with everything needed for a short stay. - The property was lovely and clean. And very close to were we wanted to be.
Weāve stayed on this site before in a different caravan and itās always been quiet and peaceful. The neighbours were very noisy playing
Loud music and shouting.
- Darryl (10/5): Outstanding accomodation at a good price and handy to points of interest in Yorkshire. - Exactly as described - no surprises! A delightful residence for a week's stay! Another tea towel for a week - but we managed
- Lianne (9/5): Superb - Yvonne and Jonathan where great hosts, excellent communication. The lodge was lovely, very clean and well presented. Excellent location. The site itself has a lovely area by the river, great for swimming, paddling and fishing. The staff in the onsite bar where great too, unfortunately they weren't serving food at this time but where happy for you to order takeout to eat in. No complaints about the accommodation it was perfect. I would suggest maybe a little welcome book with local information in, places of interest, takeouts that kind of thing and a guest book, I always like to read a guest book and leave a little comment. I wouldn't recommend the cafe by the river for breakfast, we had a standard breakfast, the sausage was cold and not at all nice, the hash browns where crispy in one side and soggy on the other, the staff didn't seem at all interested, shame because it's a lovely little spot.
- Debbie (8/5): Very good -
- Paul (10/5): Bad race weekend - Really nice smart holiday home in very good condition.
Spotlessly clean
Great location on the site.

- Debra (8/5): A lovely static caravan holiday home - Clean and comfortable nicely prepared by the owners - specially the dog box - great walk along the river Nidd from the caravan Small bathroom, but standard for a caravan.
- Dixon (10/5): Exceptional -
- Robert (10/5): Exceptional - Very clean modern accommodation and a lovely quiet site by the river Nidd and easy access to Knaresborough and surrounding area.
- Lee (10/5): Fantastic Iāll be back - Everything
- Alan (8/5): Very good -
- Siobhan (9/5): Superb -
- Debra (10/5): Very clean and comfortable caravan. Well equipped kitchen with added bonus of air fryer. Comfortable beds. - Very clean with good facilities. Well equipped kitchen with added bonus of air fryer. Comfortable beds. Nothing
- Rebecca (10/5): Exceptional -
- Leanne (9/5): Overall a lovely lodge on a good site that could easily be made perfect. - Lovely lodge on a lovely site. Missing a few basic items like hairdryer and iron which would have been useful. Also onsite shop and pub only open a few days so had no choice but to venture out of the park.
- Justyna (10/5): Exceptional - Lovely caravan park, caravan itself nice and tidy, you can find everything you need for your stay. Beautiful surroundings !!! Highly recommend.
- Corinne (9/5): Superb - Lovely clean caravan on a nice site. Good location and quiet. Good communication from the owners. Overall we enjoyed our stay here. Due to 5 of us staying, we needed to use the pull out bed in the lounge. The mattress was not that comfy (though not the owners fault, just the downside to pull out beds) The sheets had not been changed on the pull out bed either, as they were covered in dog hair. Spare clean sheets were available for me to put on. The rest of the caravan as stated above was spotless however.
- Frances (1/5): Avoid at all costs - The owner yelled expletives down the phone at me and my family after leaving the property.
Avoid at all costs.
The caravan is 'dog friendly' but also doesn't have a hoover or alternative cleaning device after a stay in a particularly wet, muddy February, in a caravan with mostly carpet flooring.
The owner rang me up (a feature no one is aware booking has) and repeatedly, aggressively shouted c*nts down the phone. This was through the hands free on my car phone, where my elderly parents were sat in the back. Any response ended up in more expletives.
Avoid, avoid, avoid. A disgrace to booking and any holiday lets. No business owner conducts themselves in this way.
Worst experience in any holiday let I have ever booked. Save your money for people who won't verbally abuse you
- Lorraine (9/5): Relaxing - The cleanliness, location, everything you need was available in nala Lodge
All reviews say they got left a welcome pack which we never received The times your paying for a day but can only get in at 3pm and to be out before 10am we cleaned up before we left but felt rushed as the cleaners was waiting outside in there car .although I did ask to be there for 2 clock and they accommodated this and put heating on beforehand, if cleaners are finished by 11am can't see why you can't go in then
- Jayne (10/5): Enjoyed our mini break, in such a lovely place - Very welcoming and spotlessly clean
- Nicola (10/5): Exceptional - The lodge was absolutely spotless on arrival, there was a lovely welcome basket filled with lots of nice things.
The location of the lodge was fantastic, just a short walk to the riverside cafe which is a beautiful spot for breakfast. It is also only about a 20 minute walk to and from Knaresborough centre, we were there 3 nights and didn't need to use the car once.
There was plenty of space inside the lodge, the living area is really large, we had two extra guests for one night and it didn't feel cramped at all with four adults. We all really loved it and would highly recommend to anyone.
We would definitely go back again š There wasn't anything

- Hayley (10/5): 100% recommend this place - The owners left us a little welcome hamper which was a really lovely touch. The main bedroom is really spacious. The place is immaculate and modern inside with the use of Netflix and Disney+. The location is excellent. Itās a lovely walk into the centre of Knaresborough. I would highly recommend. Nothing.
- Marcia (10/5): Comfortable and great location within the park - Jackie went above and beyond helping us when we said we were taking our toddler. The travel cot was already set up in second room and there were even some goodies in the fridge and on the counter. The ownerās responsiveness to messages and small personal touches make all the difference. The caravan was really comfortable and it smelled lovely and clean. Nothing !
- Deborah (10/5): Exceptional -
