Guest Reviews
- JANE (1/5): Not a pleasant experience at All - Nothing We arrived, the owner was still cleaning, asked us to return later,
It was not clean, refrigerator was dirty, dirty water in a heated tea pot, dirty dish towels
We were not aware it was a basement apartment with a very bad odor,
Booking listed it as a luxury bunkhouse, not even close to that
There was garbage heaped on the curb
It was the worst place we’ve ever encountered, based on the description and reviews
We didn’t expect this at all
I was told by the host, booking said our arrival time was 1:30am so he wasn’t prepared for us! I had written 2:00 -3:00, the message from booking said check in could be after 12 noon
- Male (10/5): Nice surprise - An apartment was really cute size was great in the kitchen was awesome really did all the pictures Justice I did not care for the south side of town location that part of town is run down and sketchy

- Poppy T (8/5): - Clean. Well supplied, great shower.. Neighborhood was a little sketchy.
- Lorina (10/5): Exceptional -
- Anna (10/5): Awesome - Like everything about the place
- Anna (10/5): Exceptional - Clean,good,always,up to standard!!
- Yonit (8/5): Very good - 3 bedrooms. spacious
Shower was comfortable Washer was moldy; we ended up doing laundry at a laundromat
Location isnt great
- Mary (7/5): Good - It was clean and roomy. Towels were good We couldn't get the dishwasher to work. The last night , residents above us arrived late and were noisy until about 2 am. So. we didn't get a restful nights sleep.
- Ambar (9/5): Great apartment that is perfect after a long day of travel - This basement convert to an apartment was executed beautifully. The bedrooms were nice and spacious. The Livingroom had a big comfortable couch, with extra lounge blankets, which was a nice touch as they were laid out. The kitchen was new and modern, with some coffee provided and the bathroom was very clean, and we loved the shower. You absolutely did not feel you were on the bottom floor. There were tenants above us in the main house, and you could barely hear them. We only stayed one night while we were stopped over before going camping, so I can't review on more than a night stayed, but the time we did stay here was comfortable, quite and exactly what we needed after a long day of travel. Only thing that was a downside for me were the curtains didn't block out the sun. This is a SUMMER ONLY issue. Not really a downside, just a preference. I have a hard time going to sleep when the sun is still out. During the summer, the sun doesn't set in Fairbanks, at least not anytime near an appropriate time for me that is, but making sure you bring an eye mask is key if the sun keeps you from sleeping.
- Liam (10/5): Lovely stay! - This place was amazing! The couches were very comfortable, as were the beds. The kitchen was well stocked and laundry was great. It was the most affordable place we stayed in Alaska- I wish we had more time to stay there! The outside can look less inviting, but the inside was very comfortable. And a weird thing- we could have used some sugar for coffees.
- Ji (6/5): Good location but not the best attention to detail - Spacious garden level place with 3 bedrooms and 1 bath. Convenient location. Nice shower with shampoo and conditioner and plenty of towels. One of the bedrooms has two beds in it and is a bit cramped. Couch isn’t comfortable and sinks in the back. Same with the ottoman. Kitchen counters weren’t clean. Key code didn’t work but was quickly remedied.
- Stuff'd (10/5): Exceptional -
- Anca (10/5): Very comfortable, clean and cosy. - The flat was large and very comfortable. The owners had put a lot of effort in furniture etc. The kitchen was well equipped, coffee machine (with plenty of filters and coffee) kettle, and surprisingly a rice cooker. Microwave, dishwasher, oven and large fridge etc. Huge washing machine and dryer.
There was an abundance of washing liquid, soaps, toilet paper and towels. No stinginess here. Nothing
- Adam (10/5): Very comfortable beds!!! I wanted to stay longer. Very nicely decorated and functional. - Really confortable place. Plenty of room to relax in. 3 bedrooms and a huge living room with soft couch, and a big kitchen, and a laundry room with washer and dryer.
In Fairbanks, you have to eat at The Hungry Robot Pizza for dinner, and The Cookie Jar for breakfast. Amazing experiences. The ONLY thing I didn't like is this: I felt like I had to clean out the coffee maker before I used it. It was rinsed and ready, but just had some coffee buildup on the filter holder part and the carafe just wasn't pristine. All the tools to clean it were right there, so it didn't take long, and soon it made great coffee! This was probably a one time mistake, because everything else was clean/pristine.
- Gerasim (8/5): Very good -
- John (8/5): Flew all night, slept all day. - Was perfect for crashing after a long flight. Bed was a bit firm and there were no black-out binds on the windows in the bedrooms
- Linda (10/5): Picked up grandson from airport - Was pleasantly surprised. Being a basement apartment ,it was very quiet from outside noise. Loved the 3 separate bedrooms
- Gaby (9/5): Superb - very clean flat, well equipped and helpful owner
- Stuff'd (10/5): Exceptional -
- Sanchez (10/5): Spectacular - The place is very home like a home away from home. I would definitely come back for second fishing trip nice and peaceful. Everything was great!
- Songtam (9/5): Very nice here! - The house was quite spacious, the rooms are very comfortable to stay in. Clean and nice. Nothing
- Shawnie (8/5): Very good -
- Sidney (10/5): Best place we have stayed at on this app so far! Very nice people who helped a bunch and were super nice - That it had the three bedrooms and could fit 5 people perfectly That the one bathrooms water from the shower was cold! But it was because we had all five people taking a shower back to back to back to back to back lol
- Mei (10/5): Exceptional -
- Jojo (10/5): Exceptional - Everything. The Owner or whoever manages this property is easy to work with. This is my first time booking a place that's not a Hotel. This place is Awesome. My Family wished they could've stay longer cause it was so comfortable but we're on Schedule. I highly recommend this place 5*.
