• Panogan (10/5): - Experience was beyond exceptional. Staff were nice and very welcoming. Parking was a little bit difficult due to increase number of guest but it was still good and manageable

• Liezle (4/5): 50/50 on this stay. - All the swimming pools were big and fun. My kids as well as my niece and nephew enjoyed it. The staff from the restaurant and front desk were friendly. Our room was disappointing as it was not as neat as i expected it to be. The floor wasn’t swept neatly. Towels in the bathroom looked used. The door in the bathroom does not have a lock and you can literally see the person inside the bathroom/toilet sitting on the toilet; there is no privacy at all. The bed linens on the other hand were neatly tucked and smelled fresh. The next day when we went for our breakfast buffet, it was chaotic and less options for food and some food trays were just empty; thus i wasn’t able to enjoy a breakfast buffet and didn’t get the worth of what i paid for. It took 20-30 mins before the food trays were replaced but some trays were still empty. I gave up and just ate what was there.

• Emilyn (4/5): One night stay as a family of three... - I liked that all the staff were friendly. They greet you warmly whenever you come across them. Food from the resto (buffet) was awesome. I reached out in advance to ask for a small favor as it was our wedding anniversary. I asked if there could be a "welcome slice of cake" when we arrived in our room saying Happy Wedding Anniversary. I was willing to pay extra for it. However, nothing was done. I did not bother to ask about it upon check in too as I thought the staff was aware of it. Also, we noticed that the toilet/bath sometimes smell as the wet area doesn't drain properly. Or maybe it was just that particular room we stayed in. We also noticed that the guests towels handed out near the pool area had a smell. Maybe it was not dried property prior. I also noticed that the staff seem to be more focused on foreigners. In their resto, i asked for a child high chair to 3 different staff before getting one but the table beside us requested for one and instantly got it (foreigners). Even for drinks, we had to constantly ask for our water to be refilled while other "foreigner" guests don't need to even call them to have their drinks refilled. It's just sad that we've become 2nd class citizens in our own country :(
• Jonathan (1/5): Awful Resort. Rooms need to be upgraded. - Pool No signs for front desk area. The rooms stainless steel rusted in bathroom. Only two towels no hand towel or face towel. The bathroom floor was wet because of the shower water. The bathroom was disgusting poor drainage. The front office staff could use more customer service training. I waited for room inspection clearance for a while. No acknowledgement so I approached to inquire. For the amount they charge value can be found elsewhere. Disappointed.

There is no system regarding the luggage delivery because our luggage was delivered to another room. We have to get and identify our luggage and bags to the other area twice.

• Lo (3/5): I am disappointed and sad at the same time because I was expecting so much in Solea Resort. I even brought my in laws fr - Only the waterpark and pool are commendable for me. The room, the facilities, the door in our hotel room was really really bad. The shower was broken. The water from the toilet was leaking. It's so gross thinking about it was from the toilet.

• Skerbetz (8/5): Overall I would definitely go back to the Solea Seaview Resort. - Close to Cebu, it has lots of swimming pools and is adjacent to the ocean. Food is good too. Our room was a little dated. I also wish more places would be all inclusive with free buffet and drinks.
• Brian (8/5): Great for a family stay - The staff is great and always friendly. Many pools to explorer, big and small, both with and without shadow in the late afternoon and the infinity pool close to the reception is open until 9pm. The breakfast and dinner buffet has a wide variety of dishes mainly Filipino, Korean and Japanese. Drinks and food in the pool bar is also great. Some stuff is in need of maintenance, such as the toilet seat almost falling off, faucet missing the filter so water splashes out. Areas around the pool and pool bar missing tiles and electric wires in the middle of the path almost exposed. The bottom of the pools are quite rough in some places, leading to scuffs on your toes if you jump a lot. Not an issue in the tiled pool.

The room was very dated and needed an upgrade,leaking aircon which I rang about for a maitanence call,but did not fix the problem,light fittings in the bathroom hanging out,rust in the bathroom.the front door was jammed and took alot of force to close.
• Leila_0316 (8/5): Recommended to families! - I like that tha place is very family friendly. They have a lot of activities for the kids. They have the aquapark and the playroom. The restaurant serves the best buffet i have ever encounter. I had a hard time of booking for the airport pick up. It was the first time i had to send 6-7 emails (+2 emails on booking .com) before i was able to get a confirmation for the transport. I began to have my doubts on the hotel but then i was satisfied with the facilities so it went well.

The Spa was excellent, great value for money and extended hours so able to accommodate last minute. Buffet breakfast was good, lots of choice but food not always hot, only guaranteed hot food was freshly made omelette.

The place is also compact, well-planned and walkable. The food was disappointing. Although there are plenty of choices, the taste is just mediocre. Serving size is great though. The taste needs to improve especially because guests cannot bring outside food in and the resort is quite far from decent restaurants in Mactan.

• Joanna (10/5): Fantastic time - The breakfast was delicious and so much to choose from. Even tried the buffet at dinner delicious so much food. Lots of things to do and love how many pools you had we had to nearly try them all. They had a little shop and other things like exchange across from the hotel which was great. We could fill up our glass bottles in our room with nice cold water in the hotel hall way which was a fantastic idea. Staff were nice and helpful. Staff would sing and dance at breakfast when it was someone's birthday nice touch. Very clean nice hotel. I hated the juices at breakfast tasted like cordial surly they could get fresh mango or other fruits. I missed out on seeing the free shuttle service they had to take you to locations until it was time to go. That it was quite far from things so taxi drivers TRIED to give us a fixed price rather than the meter.

We booked 2 rooms and wanted to relax in the rooms first before exploring the property but then we waited until 6pm for the other room to be available. It’s was quite frustrating.

But check in reception staff is so friendly and accommodating! - Breakfast - Nothing special, there were a lot choices but it wasn’t appetizing… Bathroom not so pleasing Water was salty, water stain everywhere And too much crowd, no crowd control for day use and those check in, maybe because it was holiday but it was such a disappointment to have to wait in line even for food service. Restaurant reception has to segregate lines for checked in and day use.

• Giovanny (5/5): Paint a Pig pretty- beware - BEWARE. Booking online will show you SOME of what is included. There will be hidden fees and the hotel will only say, "check with your booking agent". The location was way south of the airport. But it was very quiet and AWAY from all the city noise. Thats what I liked the most. The hidden fees. Who books a hotel with breakfast included, and then come to find out, it only is applicable to the two adults and NOT the kids? I tried to show management our booking site and the literature that stated it, but they said it's only for 2 adults. Yeah, bummer. Also, the pools were filthy. The inflatable obstacle course pool had a dingy layer of foamy, greasy film that no one should be exposed to. Plus, they charge a fee to use that pool! If you ask for a taxi, there is also a charge for calling a cab.

Concierge service is great to get you transportation around the island. Staff was super friendly and hospitable. Everything was nice. I had no complaints.

Absolutely massive amounts of food at buffet breakfast and dinner - very delicious. The view was fantastic. The tour we took was great and took the stress out of everything. We really enjoyed our stay. When we arrived, our toilet and main shower head did not work consistently. The toilet was fixed quickly, which was great. The shower head, we were told, would be changed but unfortunately never got done. Some of the swimming facilities were out of action for maintenance (which we completely understand), but it was disappointing. However, overall, it was a great place to stay.

Their aquaplay is our favorite but I guess the resort can improve so much more - The front desk staff is great but I think some of their staff needs more training, especially the guard at the entrance who whistled to call us. I think that's inappropriate to do to a guest. Overall resort maintenance. There were a lot of puddles, construction areas were not safely covered, and there was an area at the back of the inflatable where it smelled like sewer water.

• Adam (8/5): Nice stay at Solea - It's a great place for families and kids, the pools and inflatables, the kids club and activities and the things to do. We had a seaview room with amazing views especially in the morning. The room was well equipped and the beds were super comfy. The breakfast was great, a wide variety of different foods, and of course the staff were all welcoming all the the time. Check in was slow, the prices of food and drinks were expensive for the Philippines and the elevators were not the best. But these are small complaints. We went early to breakfast so didn't have to wait.

• Tautvydas (7/5): Good if you just want to enjoy pool and relax. - We booked this hotel for two night just to get over the jetlag. The hotel it self has a bit of Turkish resort vibe and not much do out of the hotel territory near by. But the hotel is clean, free drinking water is available, good breakfast. The staff is very friendly, pool areas has lifeguards who is really attentive Huge que for the breakfast, had to skip breakfast as it was too long to wait, we had to leave hungry. Nothing to do or see close out of the hotel, couple of small shops with very poor selection. Frankly we went for a short walk and that did not feel safe outside the territory.

And when they did, they forgot to give us one towel and the other towel for the ground. - when I checkout, I forgot my deposit in cash. No one from the hotel called me or informed me that I did not take the deposit although they had my number and my details. Only in the evening I was aware that it is missing and I had to go back and take it myself. It felt like they do not care of returning my deposit and if I didn't claim it later in the evening they would have taken the cash. - the staff in general is close minded and is not as nice as other options available. - there is no deep pool. All the pools are quite low which means you need to squat all the time. You can't really swim. The ground of the pool is not flattened so your feet friction with a tough surface that is uncomfortable.
• Dmitri (7/5): Good - This resort has a nice variety of pools and somewhat good rooms to take a break after. However, located in a middle of nowhere, it offers just too little to do or visit except for the pools, a few restaurants and a tiny beach with no clear water.
