Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis ist deutlich höher als 10 Punkte. Wir wurden so herzlich empfangen, obwohl wir 15 Minuten früher ankamen als vereinbart. Wir haben am Abend eine neuseeländische Spezialität Namens Pavlova geschenkt bekommen, es war soooo lecker! Am nächsten Morgen herrliche Croissants 🥐🥐und selbszgebackene Anzac Bisciits... ein Traum...😋😋 Sie waren uns bei der Buchung von Aktivitäten behilflich und haben uns Campingsessel für unseren Ausflug geborgt. Das sind Gastgeber, die es wirklich aus Berufung machen. So etwas ist echt ziemlich einzigartig! Danke Gilly und Colin! 🤗🤗 Eveline & Ludwig Any rating under 10 points is simply not justified here. We have never experienced hosts as warm and welcoming as these. The value for money is well beyond a 10-point scale. We received such a lovely welcome, even though we arrived 15 minutes earlier than agreed. In the evening, we were treated to a New Zealand specialty called Pavlova—it was absolutely delicious! The next morning, we had wonderful croissants 🥐🥐 and homemade Anzac Biscuits... a total dream... 😋😋 ​They helped us with booking activities and even lent us camping chairs for our excursion. The studio had everything you could possibly need, and both the bed and bath were luxurious! The wifi was very slow, so I wouldn’t come here to do work, but why would you need that when everything else was so relaxing and wonderful?

Die beiden sind einfach bezaubernd. Wir haben uns als Teil der Familie gefüllt, ohne eingeschränkt zu sein. Der Ausblick von der Terasse / garten ist atemberaubend schön. Whitianga und die umliegenden tollen Strände sind super zu erreichen. It was a real pleasure to stay with Gilly and Colin. If you want to experience genuine New Zealand hospitality, this is the place to be. They are both simply charming. We felt like part of the family, without being restricted in any way. The view from the terrace/garden is breathtakingly beautiful. Whitianga and the surrounding beaches are easy to reach. -

The location was incredible (the weather didn't play ball for using the sun loungers mind you!) and the room was very comfortable and well equipped. If the opportunity arose, we would definitely stay here again in the future. Thank you so much for having us to stay :) I can't lie, I wasn't a fan of the sliding bathroom door but that was a minor issue.

• Margaret (10/5): Afternoon and evening relaxation after exploring the stunning coromandel peninsula during the day - The location was sensational and the hosts provided extra comfort and treats with a cosy bed, amazing selection of tea and coffee and hot chocolate, croissants for breakfast, cheesecake and a well equipped bathroom with lovely soaps, shampoos, conditioners etc (not to mention the hat and tranquil out door bath). It is close to incredible attractions and it was hard to decide what to do in our limited time, so we’ll just have to come back again. It was a little pricey but only because we traveled the first week of peak season. The perfect warm weather made up for it. And the hosts provided extra value for money.

From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed with genuine kindness and hospitality. It was a home away from home. - We loved the warm friendly welcome on arrival and wishing me a happy birthday with a bottle of bubbles and chocolates in the room was very special. My partner likes coffee and he had so many options to pick from, and we loved the homemade Anzac cookies. Specially my partner who tried them for the first time (he is Indian lol). The view was incredible and such a great location. Gilly and Colin offered us the opportunity to take their E-bikes into town and they were great fun. They lent us the little spades for hot water beach too. Gillys home made croissants in the morning were amazing. Everything was lovely.

They have put so much time, energy, thought and enthusiasm into making each guests stay a memorable experience. Home made cookies and croissants. Use of garage for bikes, washing machine, grill... Private setting with gorgeous water views. Very comfy, cozy, very well equipped and great value. You will not be disappointed. We were thrilled. Close enough to walk to beach and town, yet quiet and peaceful.

It has a home-away-from-home feel with indulgent details like an espresso machine, super comfy plush bed, outdoor hot tub and they even served delicious freshly baked croissants in the morning. Brophys Beach House is wonderfully situated on a terrace overlooking the magnificent bay, featuring pristine views. Its a quiet spot only minutes from town and all the entertainment and food hubs of Whitianga. We will definitely recommend Brophys Beach House to anyone looking for a relaxed holiday hotspot in beautiful settings with a personal touch in a serene atmosphere. We liked everything. Nothing we didn't like.
• Josie (10/5): Short but Sweet - This place would have to be one of our favourite BnBs we’ve visited in NZ! Nestled into the bank of Brophys Bay, the studio looks onto the gorgeous coastline of Whitianga’s Buffalo Beach. It has everything we needed for our weekend getaway - Netflix, a comfy bed, outside coffee spot. They also have an outdoor bathtub, a little pathway that leads to the ocean and, the highlight of my morning, home made croissants with butter and jam. They made us feel so welcome and were exceptional hosts. That we couldn’t stay longer.
