• Victor (10/5): Perfect place to relax for a few days - The location is amazing. It falls on the kheerganga hiking road, and is surrounded bu mountains and trees on all sides. There are a few cafes near by as well. Food was good. The light in the bathroom was a bit dim. Other than that it was a perfect stay.
• Rahul (10/5): Rare Kalga House - What to say!! Certain times out of the blue you come & stay at places you never feel like leaving. One such stay was at Rare House. Kalga is a beautiful town & this place is the best in town. Owners took such personal care of me it's beyond Description. The food is amazing from veg cheese omelette & pakodas to black coffee & tiramisu. The place feels so homely I hardly spent my time in the room but rather in the common places. Definitely going back every year from now on.
• Jinay (10/5): Come for veiw, Stay for the food - 10/10-The Food is the better than a 5 star restaurant of Delhi. But you must order 1 hour before, if you want it fresh. 10/10- The view is amazing as all sides are surrounded by mountains. 10/10 - The Rooms are very nice comparative to other homestay. Get a private balcony, and heater, extra quilts, hot water for bath. Washrooms are very clean. You can trek to Kheerganga from here 3 hour distance. Kitchen opens at 10am, maybe 9am would be better.

The rooms were clean and tidy and the washroom was well maintained, They have a beautiful dining area with cool posters and you can sit and eat your food enjoying the mesmerizing views.

The rare house family and their staff are extremely professional and at the same time provide a friendly warmth. I've watched them embrace families, and a sizeable group of young students. ... • Juyal (10/5): Stay experience - The host was great. We stayed for 2 nights and they have very comfortable rooms along with a very good view of snow clad mountains. They also have a cafe next to your stay where you can chill and have good food. They serve amazing masala tea and kadhai paneer so if you are staying then definitely try that out. There is a hike to reach the hotel so that is something that you will not like in the beginning of your stay but the next day it would be worth it (as the views from your room are worth the hike)
• Bhubaneswari (9/5): Value for money, and home cooked food and excellent hospitality made our stay very rare and precious. - The property is located in a village on top of a hill. It requires a hike through the forest of about 45 mins to an hour. The hosts and the owners of the property are very very warm and considerate of guest’s need.

The food and the view from the room was the highlight of our stay. From the moment I arrived, I was warmly welcomed by the friendly staff (Sanjay Bhai Ji) who ensured that every aspect of my stay was comfortable and enjoyable. The guest house itself was beautifully decorated, with cozy rooms that were impeccably clean and well-appointed. I especially appreciated the comfortable bed, which guaranteed a restful night's sleep after a day of exploring the area. One of the highlights of my stay was undoubtedly the stunning views from the guest house. 🤩🤩 Whether enjoying a leisurely breakfast on the terrace or simply relaxing with a book in hand, I couldn't help but be captivated by the beauty of the natural surroundings. The peaceful ambiance made it the perfect place to unwind and recharge away from the hustle and bustle of city life. As for the food, I was thoroughly impressed by the delicious meals served by (Deepak Bhai Ji). Prepared with fresh, locally sourced ingredients, each dish was a culinary delight that showcased the flavors of the region. From hearty breakfasts to mouthwatering dinners, every meal was a gastronomic experience to remember. Overall, my experience at this Rare House exceeded my expectations in every way. • Aanchal (7/5): Good - It’s newly built at a good location. Amazing views and great staff. Better heating arrangements are required. The window and doors had gaps which made the room pretty cold at night. Also, the bathroom sink faucet should have both hot and cold water options. The staff was super helpful and they tried to make our stay comfortable.
