• Catherine (10/5): Peaceful, clean accommodation in a local village near nature. - We loved our 2 night stay at Alex House. Reading previous reviews, everyone commented on how great the 'location' was, so let me explain why: Alex House is nestled in a small, quiet and local village in the foothills of the mountains, where nature, walking trails and a sense of serenity surround you. It's a place to get away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The house itself is clean, warm, well maintained and had just about everything in it to make your stay here comfortable. You'll almost certainly need a car, bike (if you're super fit) or some sort of transport to get here, and there is off-road parking in the grounds of the property. There are a couple of local tavernas, where you can get souvlaki or gyros, and a small mini market for essential supplies, but if staying for a little while, it's probably worth bringing food supplies with you. The layout of the house is: one double bedroom, a triple bedroom (although 2 of the beds are wider than a standard single), a well equipped bathroom, and open plan hallway, lounge / dining area and kitchen. There's a lovely, large terrace, with table and chairs which the sun (when out) lights up in the mornings. A walking is possible from the property, along with other natural and interesting sights within easy reach by car (approximately 40 minutes by car to the Meteora monasteries).

• Tianfan (10/5): Exceptional - We had a delightful stay at the property. The host was incredibly welcoming, and the festive decorations inside created a perfect Christmas atmosphere. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our experience.
• Ivana (10/5): Awesome and nice host, everything was perfect. - We like it all, its comfy, cozzy, clean. We just feel like we are home. There were a lot of Christmas decoration. We had free wine, homemade cookies, sweets, fruit, butter, jam, honey, coffe. You have all here everything tbat you need..We were possitive supprised :) We like it everything here.

• Andreia (10/5): Excellent choice for a family with children to experience nature and countryside comfortably. - Everything was great: wonderful hosts, good location and comfortable, fully equipped, spotless clean house. There was nothing we didn't like.
